Property Ratings at TwentyOne15
This place is run into the ground, They do not have a fitness center anymore. The water lines constantly brake, the owners do not care about the residents. There was a fires yes more than one that is in other peoples reviews and I will confirm there was no communication as to what happened and caused this. don't even waste your time coming to look at this place. the model they show looks nothing like the rest of the apartments. I was told my apartment was newly renovated, When I moved in there were holes in the walls carpet was frayed at the corners. they didn't even paint the walls correctly you can see they old paint in big lines. Not to mention the paint that was splattered all over the place. On sinks and appliances. told laziness and unprofessional work.

We're truly sorry to hear about your unacceptable experiences. We want to assure you that we take feedback like this seriously and have launched an investigation into your complaints. Your concerns will help us improve our services, and for that, we thank you.
There's always an issue with the hot water. Pipes bust toilets overflowing all the time. 5 times for me in 2 weeks. AC problems and electrical problems as well. Every time I tried to plug in something the breakers would jump. They have had multiple fires and trash is always over flowing because they don't have enough dumpsters. The gates never work and the laundry room is a joke. Always dirty and has 1 or 2 machines that actually work.
I live here now and trying to get out. Apparently you have no choice in which internet service you can have. They are charging me alot of money for their internet that I do not use. And I pay alot for the allocated water and trash. I do not advise anyone moving here unless you like paying extra on services you do not use. Plus buildings burn down at random and no pool or gym.

We're genuinely sorry to hear about your negative experience. Transparency is vital to us and we apologize if you felt fees were concealed. We'll take immediate steps to address these concerns. Feedback such as yours helps improve our community for all residents, so thank you for bringing this to our attention.
So to start off, there were two fires in roughly a week's time. My children sleep about ten feet from one of the buildings that burned down, and they are terrified. They wake up in the middle of the night crying and afraid. Well, I get it, sometimes these things happen (unfortunately), and there isn't much use in talking about what could have been done to prevent this. However, the reaction is where I have issues. Not once has ANYONE from this complex reached out to myself or any of my neighbors. Not once have they addressed these issues. They have given us absolutely no timeline for repairs (which- all of the nice amenities that caused us to move in, those are all ash at the moment). They have not even used the word "fire" in their communications. What we have heard, is that due to the "circumstances" we will have our hot water shut off temporarily. So after a few weeks of on and off cold showers, surely they have something more to say? No! We moved in two months ago after touring an apartment complex with kind office staff and a pool my children jumped with joy over. Now? We are paying the same price, but have no gym, limited parking (construction has taken over the spots closest to us), no pool, no office, and no laundry room! When I try to reach out to the office, I am met with silence. We pay our rent on time, do not cause disturbances, and take care of our space. We had planned on staying here around four years minimum. After this experience? We can't wait to leave. This is the worst experience I have ever had in a rental.

We are deeply sorry for your distressing experience and understand the fear and frustration it has caused. Ensuring the comfort of our tenants is our top priority. We apologize if we have fallen short in communicating effectively about the ongoing situation. We appreciate your patience while we continue to rebuild and improve communication efforts moving forward, ensuring such an incident does not repeat itself.
This place is trash and the leasing office is rude and unprofessional.
When my husband and I moved in here we were so happy and blind-sighted. They took advantage of a young newly wedded couple that had never owned an apartment before. The a/c in our apartment doesn’t work and we’ve asked them to fix it 5 times! They always say they do but the temperature in here reaches 90 and our electric bill has been $300 because of it! We might as well moved into an apartment that cost $1000 or more!!! The flooring comes up, the bathtub peels, the parking lots looks trashy because of the disgusting amount of trash AND my downstairs neighbor smokes weed that smells my apartment up and when I called the office they said they’d put a note out to the entire complex and they didn’t!
I have had nothing less than a great experience at this property. I would like to say the NEW management team is very friendly, professional and have addressed any concerns I’ve had PROMPTLY. The line of communication with this team is open and refreshing to say the least.
It was bad before they got bought out and while the new company is trying to make changes it is freaking aweful. For 2 months now I am awoken every day with construction outside of my bedroom EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. I work nights but I'm not working at the moment due to a broken foot. At night my foot bothers me and during the day there is NON STOP CONSTRUCTION. They knock on my door sometimes 3x a day and I have to get up with a broken foot to answer it for them to tell me the same thing that is in the flood of papers they leave all the time. I wake up to hammering, jack hammering, rock shoveling, tree mulching, and leaf blowing every single morning. I will have much more to say about being woken up after I have worked a 10 hour shift! The office staff is nice but it isn't worth the fight for sleep or the 500 raise in rent for a crappy apartment. They have done some renovations but nothing to make it worth the new asking price. Not when it takes over 300 a month just to cool an apartment to still sweaty. We pay about 360 a month in electricity and we sweat constantly. They checked it and said it is blowing fine but it never gets below 75 sometimes 78 in our apartment. They took away our main trash can forcing people to use the 2, already overflowing front trash cans towards. They now are full every day with the equivalent of about 2-3 trash cans piled around them. 2 months ago my 13 year old bras and underwear went missing from the community laundry, but I have a broken foot so she has to take the trash out which worries me. Laundry is a whole other issue. We dont have a hook up and we are on the top floor. I will never make that mistake again when choosing an apartment. It is also almost July and we still have no access to the pool we pay for and should have opened over a month ago.

Last month TwentyOne 15 was purchased bringing in a new owner and management company who are well known for putting their residents first which is exciting in itself and very refreshing to have such a diligent team onsite now. The best part of having new owners is what they are bringing - many improvements and upgrades throughout the community. We do apologize for the inconvenience while the improvements are being made but this is part of that process that thankfully is only short-term and will be completed soon. We do want you to know that the swimming pool will be opening within the next couple of weeks with many upgrades that include brand new granite counter grilling stations, cedar pergola, new pool furniture, landscaping and a security fence, we do hope that brings some excitement. As far as the trash issues we are working very hard with the city to have them pick up more often so this should be resolved very soon. We are also aware of the laundry room issues and are diligently working to resolve them but it does take time. Lastly, we will be adding handicap spaces which will be up to code as the number of HC spaces were not when we took over. We do appreciate your patience during this time and when you are up for it we would love for you to come by the leasing office to talk and see the new apartment home we will be offering, we think you will like it as the new look has been a hit for many of the current residents. Thank you and if you need anything please give us a call at 817-265-1721. Have a nice day.
There is a dog on the north west corner of the complex. He or she defecates on the patio and barks at the moon. I have contacted the leasing personnel but to no avail. I'm going to call Arlington Code Enforcement tomorrow and report this. It will get the Arlington police department involved and that should solve the issue.

We're sorry about this issue and that you have had difficulty connecting with leasing staff. We do want you to know that The Commons on Park Springs was just recently purchased so there has been a slight transition period to the new management company who is widely known as resident-focused and diligent in problem-solving. Your review will be shared with management for resolution but in the meantime will you please call our office at 817-265-1721 so we can connect to further discuss the issue. Thank you, we do look forward to speaking with you. Have a nice day.
The commons is a amazing place to call home, the management staff is very friendly. They are helpful when i have questions, they keep the property looking nice! Maintenance takes care if any work orders i have in timely manner. The gate always works and never have an issue!

Thank you for your amazing review, we greatly appreciate it!
I've lived here for several years and it's only recently that they have really jacked the prices up. For more then a dollar a square foot for these apartments aren't worth it. Old appliances, old a/c, poor insulation, super thin carpet and walls. I'm did not move in here expecting this place to be a palace, but the price they were charging a few years back was ok for an older complex with older appliances. It's not worth it anymore. I haven't had any major issues with bugs, except black carpet beetles. Those bugs are especially bad in the spring into summer. Maintenance is very quick and solves most problems that day unless they don't have the part, then it's a day or two at most. The pool is great so long as it is kept in compliance with the city because they literally had it open for one month a few years ago. The elementary school, Dunn, that the apts are zoned for is great. Pretty safe neighborhood except for domestic issues which have increased in the past 6 months. Would I stay here if they upgraded, possibly especially since Belinda no longer seems to work in the office. On that note the new office staff seems pleasant enough the few times I've talked to them. I just can't live in a run down apartment for the price they want anymore. Good luck to you wherever you choose to live.
Property Manager at TwentyOne15, Responded To This Review
We're sorry for the experience that you had last year, truly. Today we have been purchased by a resident-first focused owner so if you need anything please so by the leasing office. Thank you.
I had to move out of here early because I couldn't stand it! About 3 days after moving in I realized the kitchen was infested with cockroaches, yet I was paying a monthly pest fee. The sewers backed up a few times and covered the stairs outside with toilet paper and nasty water, never saw anyone even try to clean that up. The website claims this place is like a "resort" and that is the biggest joke. The staff was less than useful and were always late coming in. Now, after finally being free of this place, they want me to pay outrageous fees for things they had to "clean". They are charging me hundreds of dollars for smells... The whole building is musty from water leaking but I'm the one paying for it?? This apartment isn't in the best area, but I was never really afraid for my safety. I do want to warn you that the gates are always broken so anyone could get in and out of there, and the complex doesn't pay for any security. Please don't move here. They raised the rents to match other apartments in the area, so you'll be overpaying for unbelievably low quality. Not even worth 1 star.

We're sorry you had this experience back in 2016 but today the good news is we have new ownership and management so if there is anything you need today please let us know.
This place was just....so happy I no longer live there. Lived in a 2 bedroom, 2 bath apartment and yet we could never get our ac below 80 because they didnt want to replace the ac unit (outside) so it leaked if it was below 80. Any stains on the counters had just been painted over. One of the bathtubs was rusted around the drain, but instead of replacing it they just painted or something. It eventually rusted through. There had previously been smokers in the apartment so the walls smelled like a chain smokers place as well as the "new" carpet. Im sure the carpet either was just cleaned or they didnt replace the cushion foam under it. Please dont live here. Save yourself the money.

I never -ever- wanted to leave this place, but I have to move out to Houston because of work. Five years as a resident and I've never been robbed (or afraid of being robbed). I have taken month long stays out of town and never once had a single worry for the safety of my property. The access gate isn't always closed, but you're in a pretty good neighborhood here so it isn't such a huge problem. Every one of my work requests were attended to quickly (most of the time within an hour, though sometimes it took two or so days). I saw maybe one roach and four ants in the entire five year residency, but the pest control (BuzyBees) come around regularly and if you complain, then the office staff will send them out as soon as possible. Pest control and maintenance will always leave a message if someone has entered your apartment for a service. The complex grounds are kept up nicely, though sometimes the mowers can come a little early on Tuesday mornings for my liking, at least you're not ankle deep in weeds. Finally, and most importantly, the rental rates are very reasonable. They don't just slap on a fresh coat of paint and call it renovated. If you have a renovated unit then you really do have new appliances and floor treatments. I moved from a two bedroom to a one bedroom (renovated) and the difference wasn't an accent wall or one stainless steel towel rack. I have never felt ripped off or disrespected by the office staff. The three ladies that work there act like extended family and are very friendly and professional. Say hi to Bellinda for me, she's amazing.

Thank you for your amazing review, we greatly appreciate it. Have a great day!
The Commons on Park Springs was where I got my first apartment. I've been very happy with the complex. They are kept up pretty well and taken care of properly. The lady's in the office are just so nice. They really have looked out for us, which has been so appreciated. Maintenance is fast and accurate. The only issues I have is that sometimes one of our neighbors gets loud and annoying, and the price of rent has gone up both times we have released. Overall, great place!
