Property Ratings at Twin Lake Towers
Honestly we cant wait for our lease to be over. There’s always something breaking. People don’t clean their dog poop. Management sucks and all they ever say is “there’s nothing we can do” For all the money that a person pays to live here you’d think they’d do a better job.
Property management is terrible. Dog poop all over the dog park and management won't help. The model unit has different colored walls than all of the units however they only say that the cabinets and counters will be different. Loud neighbors (Even though we were told its a quiet building). They will try to find all these different ways to charge you. My fiance had her car keyed and when she went to the management to see if they have a camera or any help, they had no solutions or suggestions. We pay $20 bucks a month to just park there? That's ridiculous that they couldn't help by using that money to purchase a camera or something. Save yourself the headache, go anywhere else but here.
We signed a lease in March - May. We’ve been here six months are seriously considering breaking the lease. They nickel & dime you for every little thing but take no responsibility when anything goes wrong. The fire alarms go off randomly with no warning, no one cleans up after their dogs and after calling the leasing office several times I received the response of “mmm…yeah there’s nothing I can do about it” from Lisa, a member of the office staff. Not to mention, the walls and floors are paper thin and the neighbors are loud.
If you want to have to run around to find your packages. You might not want to have any packages delivered here. There are cameras but management did nothing to solve the issues of having packages being stolen. What is the point of having camera in the building? I like this apartment complex but for the price of living here it might be best to move somewhere else. Let’s not talk about maintenance coming into your apartment unannounced. And the noisy water plumbing has been terrible through out the night.
This place is a hot mess. Literally there’s garbage all over all the time, outside, inside ewww. New management is baddd they’re friendly enough but that’s the only good thing I can say. They try to make out the previous owners to be bad guys but I liked living here with the previous owners. Now am very excited to leave!! Their portal has issues. They don’t follow through. It’s too much money monthly for it to be sooo crappy. And the apartments are old with poor attempts at updates.
I would not move here! Ever since the new management took over everything went down hill. They send out notifications and then don't follow them, and then they just argue with you about the dates instead of trying to work something out. They are not helpful with parking issues at all, if you live here and want to have people visit be ready to jump though hoops or pay extra money so their car doesn't get towed. The apartments are very loud as they have family's of 4 or 5 living in a one bedroom apartment and the smells are terrible. Be advised the management is not there to help you! I do not recommend this place!
If you want to lose your night sleep and never sleep-in on your day offs … rent an apartment at Twin Lake Towers. I live in tower 2 and a couple month ago they rented a 1-bedroom apartment to a family of 4! Two adults and 2 babies. The two babies are all the time screaming and crying. All the neighbors complained more than 20 times, and they still haven’t done anything about it – all they did was apologizing. So, I finally decided to break my lease and asked them to wave my penalty. Following is their response, “Sorry for the delay, my manager has been busy. I did get a chance to speak with her in regards to your situation. She said that we unfortunately cannot waive the termination fee due to noise. She will waive the $500 transfer fee if you choose to stay and switch apartments.” So their only option for me is to move to one of their other apartments! Or live in the current miserable situation. I just can’t wait for my lease to be over in June! Please think twice before renting their apartments.
During Move out they will consider everything as Damage..If you didn't clean the bath tub, they will charge for cleaining and charge for Damage also. If you stay i apartment for 3 years, you need to give the apartment back as ready to move-in.
