Actual Units: 9/10 Hallways: 5.5/10 Staircases: 4/10 Outside: 5/10 Parking lot: 4/10 Laundry: 6/10 Staff: 8.5/10 I’ve lived here about a year and long story short it’s exactly what you pay for. Responsive and nice staff who figure out leases and maintenance in a reasonable timeframe. Actual units are nice. Everything else is just old and run down. Overall I’d recommend for someone in/right out of college, or a family that can’t afford the average price of the high regulated and taxed California housing market.
The price isn't terrible for the good location its in. The complex looks run down on the outside, and in the main hallways it has dreary lighting, old staircases, outdated laundry appliances, and dirty carpet. In the actual units, however, they are very nice. Updated carpet, and floors. The fact that water and gas are covered by management is very nice. The two people running the complex are nice as well. Overall the units themselves are a 5/5, management a 4/5, parking a 4/5, other parts of complex are a 2/5.
Its a no frills place , very central location and very good value for money . I dont know where the previous reviewers found the bed bugs . may be they brought their own .. its been run by a nice old lady and the maintenance is by one person who are pretty good . The place is only half full . and I like the privacy . I hope they dont increase the lease next year . lol

Lived here for only 3 months because i could not take constant break down of simple living amentaties (my shower never drained properly and heater NEVER worked). And now, my 600 security deposit, is be g used to fix problems that were already apparent WHEN I MOVED IN. do yourself a favor and forget this place is even in existence.

This place was notorious for having bed bugs and roaches. Don't be surprised if you get one or both pest problems. They never did any pest control. Beware, I honestly don't want anyone to go through what I had to go through with living there. Please save your money and try another place.

We are newly remodeled and have gone the extra lengths to curb any issues that may have been previously present. As is our policy before and after the remodel, we contract with Terminix for preventative maintenance of the grounds and interior of units if needed. We do this regardless of need to always stay ahead of any potential issues.
I don't have the patience to describe everything wrong with Twin Pines. In short, several units including ours burned down, displacing everybody. Owners slap some new windows and a fresh coat of paint and jack up the rent 50%. They couldn't wait to post those eviction notices when the complex was still smoldering. The owners are slumlords - Twin Pines was maintained to the minimum standards possible - roaches and mold were abundant. Parking is horrible and my tires were slashed twice. There was a mess of tangled wires exposed outside the building - hope they fixed that but doubt it. They couldn't care any less for their tenants. If you have any other options I strongly urge you to choose one of them.

We are sorry to hear about your bad experience at Twin Pines Manor Apartments. It was an unfortunate event in April 2016 when one of our tenants accidently left a stove on which lead to a fire that spread to the adjacent units. While the complex was down for business, we made extensive efforts to upgrade every unit. We installed, new Luxury Vinyl Plank in living rooms and kitchens, New Countertops, Newly Tiled Bathroom floors and walls, new fixtures and new carpet. The entire complex has also received new construction High Efficient windows and insulation in the exterior walls. This will help all our tenants in utility savings in the warm weather (By the Way, we pay for all Gas for heating). Again, the fire was a very unfortunate event, but we feel that the complex now is even better than before. Please come by and take a look!
