Property Ratings at Twin Rivers Apartments
During the move in process, the viewing apartment looked nice. When I showed up to see the apartment that I got, it looked nothing like the showing apartment. The condition was awful. There are holes in the walls, doors, etc. There were burn marks on the counters, the toilet was disgusting. I was told the burns wouldn't be repairable but the rest was. It has been months and nothing has been repaired. The outlets can't hold anything, and that is the ones where you can plug things in and they work. The prongs hang out, creating a fire hazard. The staff at the office is ridiculously rude and will yell at you when you question why repairs haven't been made in months. I don't know who manages this property, but the people who work here should be fired immediately and the apartments need severe repair. Stay away. Stay very far away.

You will never get anything fixed. Maintenance doesn’t exist. They don’t answer their phone in the office and are never in office during posted hours. I HAD A FAKE FIRE ALARM IN MY APARTMENT FOR SIX MONTHS. If you live here, i feel sorry for you. Oh, and say goodbye to your deposit.
We had to have a place to stay so we moved in before repairs were completed. Those repairs are still not done 6 MONTHS later. Our shower broke, still not fixed. The maintenance man can not do anything. He burnt down half our wall trying to fix a shower NOT EVEN IN OUR APARTMENT. That is NOT a joke. Do you want brown recluses crawling across you in your sleep? N0? Then DON'T live here. Wasps so you can't use your balcony yepp. The dishwasher pump went out so the kitchen was swamped in water, I had to clean it all up and they never came to fix it even though it was leaking into the apartment below. Several AC units do not work and are about to COLLAPSE into people's apartments. Any good review you know is FAKE and friends with the manager. WORST place to live. I beg you to spend a little more and get something way way way better than this dump. I regret ever living here and they will give you a headache every day you are there for as long as you are there. Not only that but security is a joke. People can steal, rob, and shoot people with "security" just looking on.
Nothing gets repaired in a timely fashion. I have a hole in my ceiling for over 1 month now and they shrug it off like no big deal. AC issues took weeks to fix properly and none of the repairs that needed to be done before I moved in was never taken care of. I don't recommend this place unless your desperate.
I have had very bad experience, when I report something damaged if I do not go and complain to the manager they do not repair it. When it's an emergency they say they're going to send a person and it never shows up. It is amazing the bad service they give. I plan to move to another place.
I absolutely love living here, I have been here for a year now and I don't want to leave. I love the amount of places that are in close proximity to where I am. The intersection (21st and Amidon) has lots of food choices (Great Wall, Little Caesars, Pizza Hut, McDonalds, Burger King, Braums to name a few) and different places to shop for groceries: Dillons, Walmart Neighborhood Market and Aldi. And just down the street at Arkansas and 21st is a QuickTrip. Close to I-135 and I-235 and K-96 for those longer commutes. The other residents are friendly; they will say hello and wave at you when they see you, the management will ask how you are doing and if there is anything that they can help with. And let's not forget how pet friendly this place is. OH! And if you're having issues with the toilet or whatever may be acting up, putting in a service request online is easy and the maintenance will be by to check it out and fix it within a day or two. Quivan (KEE-vin) is an amazing maintenance man! The property manager, Mike, has a done a FANTASTIC job with the property!!! He has brought in people for landscaping and has plants to make the complex look more inviting and park-like. Not to mention, he is having people work on units to get them updated!!
This is the precise sense of comfort, familiarity, and security that I feel every day I return from work. The area is drama free, the staff are very approachable, and the amenities fulfill all households, whether a single person or a family. Very fairly priced, given the close proximity to the river and Twin Lakes businesses. Every night, I return home.
The apartments at Twin Rivers Apartments are one of the best if not the best apartments in town. Mike the apartment manager is doing so much upgrades to the apartments and grounds that they soon will be the nicest apartments in town. It has a very nice and clean pool for the residents to enjoy their swim. The grounds will soon have a dag park and place to be able to sit on the river bank, and much more. Shelby is a friendly office lady who works hard to accept new residents as they come in. Olga is a very friendly and hard working lady who keeps the grounds clean and looking good for us to enjoy a nice looking complex. Quivan is a very hard working maintenance man keeping everything working well. This group of workers put in long hard hours so that the residence can enjoy living here in Twin Rivers Apartments. This area provides you with almost anything you need and in walking distance. Before going anywhere else take a good look at Twin Rivers Apartments first so that you won't have to go anywhere else. This place is absolute trash. During the year that I lived there, I'd been robbed, disturbed by awful neighbors who couldn't seem to work out their domestic disputes (cops were in my building every week), and I was treated with so much disrespect by the staff. Maintenance was extremely rude and always left my apartment very untidy (that is, if they ever bothered to show up). My advice to anyone considering this as a suitable place to live? Don't. UNACCEPTABLE.
Part of the management staff, Chris, has not been working there very long, but he is so wonderful. Cares about our happiness in the apartment and is very helpful!
