Mice.Mice.Mice, the property manager is unprofessional. The kitchen and bathrooms are outdated. Needs a remodel, the office staff is very messy. The concierge are the best people on this staff
The staff here at Twin Towers is incredibly phenomenal. From the time I applied until moment I moved in, they gave me such a pleasant experience. The manager Amy, the assistant manager Alberto, the leasing agent Anthony, concierge Maria, and maintenance Alex and Caesar were not only informative and helpful but very welcoming. I love my apartment and all the fixtures. I am so elated to call the Twin Towers my new home!
Silver Spring is one of those places where you would think you're getting more space for the price than DC and VA but not really. Most of the buildings I been to in Silver spring were charging ridiculous prices for 500-700sq ft "one bedroom" homes.... That's more like a studio to me. Anyway, Twin Towers has way more space and it's cheaper. I'm not saying the community is perfect but it depends on what's important to you.. I like that I'm not cramped!

READ THE REVIEW FROM APRIL 2021 BECAUSE I IGNORED & DID NOT BELIEVE IT WAS TRUE UNTIL I EXPERIENCED THIS PLACE MYSELF. First, reason why I’m writing this now because a roach just crawled on me and I have not even been here more than 5 months…… They will not tell you about how bad the roaches are & thin the walls are. No matter how many times you keep your place clean or how many times pest control comes though they will be here. My FIRST NIGHT I had saw a roach, so please don’t ignore that baby one cause a bigger one will follow. The walls are so thin, you can hear conversations word-For- Word If you just trying to sit in silence & relax from time to time. The same goes for in the shower, that lil vent you will be able to hear other talking, “handling business” etc & if you love to sing in the shower without having to hear others, forget about it. If try to break your lease expect to pay $2000 plus just to move. READ THROUGH YOUR CONTRACT ESPECIALLY paragraph 2 where the apartment should be free of “Rodents & vermit”. Save your time & save your money because if I knew all of this was happening here, On Jesus I would not have even looked to apply for this place.
If you’re an entomologist you’ll love this apartment. If not, you’ll probably be disappointed by a surprise amenity: cockroaches. Management will “do everything they can to get rid of them” but rest assured, the roaches will be your roommate for the duration of your lease. Other than that, there’s constant smoking inside the apartments which management deals with by sending a strongly worded email to the community and doing nothing else. And who could forget the 2 tiny elevators per tower. As you move in you’ll learn that most couches and queen size box springs don’t fit. You’ll be reminded of this throughout your lease as you regularly wait 5-10 minutes for an elevator. In short, you should live anywhere in Silver Spring other than here.

Its a spacious house with no control over ac/heat. If you think about air conditioner this is not a right place. The restrooms and kitchen are very small but can adjust though. Need to buy your own microwave. All the amenities are included in the rent. There is a paid parking available. As its an old building, there will one or the other construction work going on which causes intolerable noise. And the management has no ETA for this. If you want to live peacefully at home after 8:00 AM, definitely not the place.

i have been in this area since 2012, this building is the best. Convenient. Amenities are perfect. safe
Where does one begin? Well, for starters-- this infrastructure’s dynamics are pretty self-explanatory. I’ll delve regardless. There are two associated buildings here: one part of the community is named Georgia Tower since it’s positioned at an avenue begetting close proximity to booming downtown Silver Spring while the lobby connects to Ramsey, respectively on the other end for MARC/metro accessibility. Inside these humble walls, established some 5 decades ago, are minimal updates to keep up with the times. Aside from general amenities to be expected everywhere nowadays, the space in each apartment is truly a treasure to be discovered (full range of walk-in closets and/or personal outdoor annexes). Yet, you’ll realize the trade-off of utilities being inclusive when several instances go awry such as the central unit generating insufficient circulation to affect living space; gas stove pilot remaining on, purposely; in addition to pipes producing discolored substance that requires 'running off' several minutes at a time. Neither, I begged pardon as the front desk, service technicians all responded, were work orders to report. Still, refrain from “counting this baby out because of the bathwater” [rephrased for pun intentions] where its essential function of value reigns supreme compared to others in the industry. Make it an abode on your accord.
It is in a good clean apartment in a great location. It is near the metro so people do not have to drive very often. I have been here for a few months and I really enjoyed the place.
I used to live down the street in a 650 sqf apartment and had to pay electricity which is high during winter and summer. Here at Twin Towers, all utilities are included and the rent is lower than any other building in the area. Plus my 1 bedroom apt is now 970 sqf. I have Plenty of closet (3 big size closets 1 walking closet 1 linen closet) plus a huge kitchen where you can place at least 2 pantries and a big living room and dining room. Leasing people (Joy and Alberto) are also sooo kind! There is a rooftop pool and the party room can be reserved for free* (you give a $200 deposit and if nothing is damaged you get your check back). Another huge advantage: the main door is 3mn away from the metro and there is a back door that leads to downtown silver spring 3mn away. In summary: great location, lower price, huge space, plenty of closet, free utilities.
I love the location of the apartment, downtown silver spring, right next to the metro station and shopping area. It's not a fancy apartment but its comfortable, the staff are friendly, and they try to keep the building clean. Although it is a bit pricey for me living alone in a one bedroom apartment, the rent does include utilities and you get a personal parking spot in the garage. The appliances that come with the apartment aren't the newest or best looking but they do their job. I don't like that they manage when the ac/heat switches on for the season because it can get pretty hot during the transition from spring to summer when it isn't time to switch over to the AC yet. But you get what you pay for right? I guess its not so bad if you get a small fan or electrical heater for those in between times. Overall its an average apartment with some flaws but you can learn to live with it.
In ten years I have never seen a mouse, lost power, not had a maintenance request fulfilled, or not had someone tell me how spacious my place is. Two blocks from the downtown Silver Spring Metro and a bevy of awesome restaurants and business, the convenience can't be compared. The fact that all utilities are included speaks volumes. There is a cute pool on the roof, a business center as well as a Meeting Room on the Lobby Level,and a pretty decent gym with a variety of exercise equipment. The only downside is the apartments themselves could use newer appliances, and the washing machines are in the basement. But I wouldn't trade those two minor things for everything that I mentioned above. Not for one second. This place has been my home for quite a while, and it will be like pulling teeth to get me to move.
This well maintained building is in diverse downtown Silver Spring with the convenience of shopping and public transportation just beyond the doorstep. The secured entrance leads to a front desk with an attendant and helpful staff. Spacious apartments have large closets, updated kitchens and carpet. Building amenities are truly beneficial.
