Property Ratings at Tysons View
We applied for an apartment for a family that is new to the country and Tysons View office staff assured us that they would be able to help us out. They encouraged us to apply even though we had some reservations about some of their application requirements. They told us that the application portal is not flexible, but they would be able to help us out as long as the family had the required income level. That was not the case at all! The application portal was very inflexible; I called to ask for help and left multiple messages. The application expired by the time the office staff got back to me. Lost our first application fee. But, encouraged by the responses that we finally did get, we finished the application, paid the fees for four applicants and then were told that it would be impossible for them to take our application without a recent rental history. We had been very clear from the start that there was no recent rental history. Long story short: we lost over $700 in application fees and a ton of time in calls and online work --- all for nothing. Tysons View emailed us to say that they would be unable to accept our application, but when we asked for a refund of our fees, they responded that we had withdrawn from the process. Beware of false promises! Don't lose your money.
The neighborhood is quiet and the neighbors are friendly. Lots of greenery and friendly staff as well. The apartments itself are enough space to make it your “home sweet home”
I have lived at Tysons for a long time and the office staff was really good for a long time. But things started to change for some reason, don't know why. The changes was pushing me towards moving, Then new managers come in and so much positive changes have occurred. Cleaning up the landscaping, upgrading everywhere, friendly staff, so organized and the resident events are amazing!
I want to say thank you to Nidiah, Janya, and shervon. They are an absolute great team. They take their time with helping residents and upcoming residents. Tyson’s view are lucky to have such a Great staff. Just the amount of help they provide is amazing. Great Job and thank you all!
Been living in this apartment for more than 5 years now. I am going to move after finishing my contract because the new management is very rude and money minded. Started towing 24/7, the walls are thin, no washer and dryer in the unit and there are so many bugs and mice. The older management was nice enough to talk with the residents and solve the problems but the new one is trash. Do not come here if you don't want to deal with unnecessary stress!!!
This building has very poor management. Theirs roaches and mice in the buildings and it doesn’t matter how many maintenance requests you put in they won’t acknowledge the problem. Also the plumbing is terrible. Water doesn’t drain and the maintenance man isn’t useful. He doesn’t seem to know what he’s doing they just hire unqualified people. I don’t recommend to anyone. Beware and stay away. Find a more decent place to live this is not worth your money.
If there is zero star I would have given that..Worst/Rude Management..Money making..waste policies/rules..Why would 45 days notice required when month on month? Even if you stay for 30 years management will not think from your perspective. No sub lease option. Think twice before signing lease..They asked me to pay 1300$ after I moved out from that house stating 45 days notice..How many days it requires to make an apartment ready? Frequent maintenance issues, old apartments. Patty - Useless talking to her. No outcome/conclusion. She will not listen to you, rude.I hate talking to her.cuts you in between. It happened with many of my friends.I read same review somewhere in reviews and I experienced it now. I love Jerry earlier and he is not with them anymore. Think twice before coming to this apartments. Roaches/moves complaints in some apartments. Noisy when someone walks. They will change policy for some people and not for everyone..DONT PREFER this apartments
You get what you pay for. The buildings are older so the floors creak like crazy; it's extremely loud. Try to get a top floor unit. Old building means lots of pests. Spiders, crickets, and roaches -yes roaches - abound, even after raid and a thorough bleaching. But it's the cheapest place in nova, so there's that. Rent at your own discretion.
This is excellent residence if you want quick ride to Metro, Tysons corner mall and great resutrants. Also it is in center of Tri state, so you can easily reach out to various major cities for work. They have very good swimming pool, kids play are and excellent service on any issues. And office staffs are very friendly and solve the issues immediately.
good people great environment love the place cant really complaint

Living here has made me wonder why I have ever lived anywhere else. The office staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. The maintenance team is fantastic. Any issues I have had have been fixed promptly and without any sort of disruption to me. I had one stain in my refrigerator from the previous tenants and they replaced the entire thing! They even moved my food for me. You can sometimes hear your neighbors as can be expected in an older building, but nothing that will keep you up at night. I seriously could not be happier with this apartment complex. :)
