Huntington is a suburb of Fort Wayne that could rival some of Texas’ most popular cities. This small city is best known for being home to Huntington University, giving the area a college-town feel. Great for renters looking to be close to the city but wanting to feel like they are living in a large town, Huntington has almost everything renters could ever ask for: multiple parks, commercial hubs, affordable rentals, museums, a skating rink, and movie theaters. Despite have tons of things to do, Huntington is known for being close-knit and events like the Forks of the Wabash Pioneer Festival —a celebration of history with arts and entertainment— keep the community together. If you’re looking for a town that has more to offer than the typical suburb, Huntington is a great Midwestern town to discover your new home.

Property Ratings at UB Lofts
This is a nifty old building with mostly hardwood floors and some linoleum throughout. In general apartments are nice. Location is excellent for commuting anywhere in Huntington or the nearby areas (You are within walking/biking distance of most of the town). Generally a pretty quiet building. Because the building is old, insulation is really poor, and has resulted in higher electric bills during the winter. There is also nothing in the way of noise cancellation which is not something that bothers me but maybe a problem for some people. The washer dryer combo units are a bit pathetic, but it is better than having to go to the laundromat all the time. Landlord and maintenance usually responsive.
