Louisville is the largest city in Kentucky, resting alongside the Ohio River on the Kentucky-Indiana border. The architecture in Louisville is a mix of old and new, with historic neighborhoods comprised of Victorian houses and towering skyscrapers scattered throughout the downtown area, many of which contain upscale apartments and condos available for rent.
The amenities in Louisville are just as diverse as the architecture. Renting in Louisville affords you the opportunity to see the famous Kentucky Derby at Churchill Downs, learn more about a boxing legend at the Muhammad Ali Center, and meet a range of animals at the Louisville Zoo. The city’s award-winning restaurant scene is an exemplary display of Southern cooking. Just outside the city lies the Louisville Mega Cavern, a vast underground space offering a broad range of adventurous attractions.

Property Ratings at Union at JTown
Do NOT move here. Signed a lease and didn’t even stay there one day. Starting moving our things in the unit and there was roaches in every corner and on the ceiling and everywhere. Just disgusting!! Not to mention the management never even let us know about this and refused to give me any of the thousands of dollars I put into this awful place until I had to bring a lawyer into the equation then they settled with me. Worst decision I ever made. Rosie is a liar and will not tell you the truth

This is easily the worst place I’ve ever lived. They randomly shut off the water with no notice, they are impossible to get a hold of, rent changes every month based on random fees they add but sometimes don’t. And when asked about the fees they brush it off and make excuses. There are bugs everywhere and the “renovations” are all DIY and not finished.
I lived there for 3 years. The first year was fine. I starting fighting against roaches like I have never seen before. The turn-around was crazy and often. Halls never clean, they even removed the front security door to the building off the hinges. Parking is like squeezing semi trailers in tiny spots. They did rent washer w/dryers so they could increase the rent. It was horrible. The balcony looked as though termites destroyed the banister. Office management is very rude and can't keep anyone.
Parking is horrible… they say there’s a two car limit but don’t keep track of cars and you’ll have a hard time finding parking because cars are there that don’t live there.
I highly recommend you do not move here. I lived here for two years and experienced nothing but problems from the beginning. Had it not been for covid, I would have broken my lease long before.
They are rude and unapologetic. I hated the way they lied and would not budge on issues we had.

So first let me start out that this is my FIRST apartment and so I set my expectations at a medium standard. The walls are thin and I can smell the cigarette smoke of my neighbors. It’s especially bad if I open the cabinet under my sink in my kitchen and bathroom. I’ve had to put many wall plugs in to try to help and it’s still not very helpful. You can’t paint the apartment which really stinks as the bedroom color is like a light greenish color. (Could be a different color but due to lighting it looks weird.) I’ve only lived her since January and my washer is already leaking. I called to have it checked out and was told it’d be checked out on Friday but nothing. Hopefully it will be fixed on Monday as I hate having to go to my moms to do my laundry. I just recently put up my records on the wall and my sister and I found out that the floor is uneven which made things difficult. The sump pump that is outside my apartment door (I’m on the lower level) is still not covered and the opening that goes under the stairs is still open. I have a cat who has escaped once and I was terrified because she could fall in or go under the stairs. Thankfully managed to get her before any of that happened. I’ve read a few of these comments and I must say that they are really trying to better everything! My complaints are just little and things that aren’t so much a big deal. Minus my washer but hopefully that’ll be fixed soon. I will also say when I call, Blanca knows exactly who I am when I call which I’m not sure is a good thing or a bad thing. I’m taking it as a good thing as it shows she cares. Definitely thankful for the management, they’re trying and are super friendly!
I have lived here for about a year. When I first moved in last summer renovations had just started. It was a tad flustering at first with the renovation crews. But the improvement I have seen while living here is astounding. I’m big into cooking so I love the granite countertops. Everytime I call the office the staff there is very pleasant. Plus the location is a huge plus for me!
I've really enjoyed living here. They updated the exterior recently and are updating the units currently. Stacie has been a huge help to us. She helped us make it through Covid by going the extra mile.

Me and my gf moved in around July of 2020, we loved it at first, management seemed to be great and they were telling us they just took over/ bought the buildings and we’re going to make great changes, too bad they were ONLY making changes to the exterior while the interior of the apartments are falling apart. As I’ve seen here already Roach infestation is true and also mold is a huge issue and they deny any possibility of mold even tho I would love to show anyone photos of the mold I have, currently living here in hell, moving ASAP.

Everything is made very cheaply. After living here for a year my fiance and I resigned our lease. Right after we did, we found out that the drain in our kitchen sink was not connected to any piping. There was piping under the sink, but nothing to connect it to the drain. Our first summer here the AC unit got struck by lightning and it took them over 3 weeks in the middle of July to do anything about it. When they finally send out the window units (we got a letter from the owner that we would get one for the bedroom and one for the living room) we got one for the living room and $100 off 1 months of rent. That is the only rent help we got even through covid. When they finally came to put an actual AC unit, maintenance NEVER put our hall ceiling back. We just have exposed wires and tubing in our hall. And it leaks. Our cabinets and counters are coming apart from how cheap they are and our carpet comes up every time I vacuum. They told us they are not renewing our lease which ended in January and it is now the first weekof February and they are saying we can't get our security deposit back. DO NOT RENT HERE

New management is great! I’ve noticed they’re working on improving the units, windows, and overall appearance of the complex! Reasonable prices and great location. I’d recommend it!
