Property Ratings at University Club Apartments
It was nice at first. Lots of washers. Good hot water. Not many bug problems. Maintenance was helpful. Office was nice. Then a few months in (after prime advertising season was over) everything went to hell. Most of the washers were broken and would not be fixed for weeks. The water was suddenly crappy and never a consistent temperature. The office suddenly could car less. Maintenance was more in the way than anything. And suddenly im getting served an eviction notice for being not even a week late for payment (when i pay the late fees and they dont even post utilities til the fifth or sixth). Just overall terrible
Just know you pay for what you get. Roaches are a problem and front desk acted like they really didn’t care about anything that was brought to their attention unless someone complained about a loud small animal. They pick and choose what they want to address.
Hi everybody, if you want to live here DON’T. The front office people, specifically Tamara, are very rude and do not help with anything. They also forget to mention that there are HUGE cockroaches, even infestations of roaches in every single unit of their complex. They don’t spray even though they say they do all the time. They also forget to mention that there’s student discounts. They over charge for what you pay for, everything is really just covered up with a band aid. But if you love cockroaches and rude people, this is your place!!!!!!!
Moved in June of 2019 and have had a few minor problems that were fixed in a timely manner. Neighbors don’t bother us. When they have issues in the complex we get an email. The ladies in the office are great. My apartment is nice sized and updated. Love it here.
I have lived at this complex for several years. I have seen over 7 property managers come and go because they can’t get anyone to stay. There is NO follow through with “rules,” meaning there are screaming children, unleashed pets, and parties nearly every night. when you bring up a problem, management will flat out tell you that there’s nothing they can do about it. The cops are called several times per week, and if you’re not aware, you can call the police department and check. The water is turned off numerous times a month, sometimes for an hour, sometimes for days. Those updated apartments? Yeah, they don’t actually exist. Less than a handful of apartments actually look like that, and they aren’t leasing them so the units can be used for show. This place is not run well, is not kept up well, and maintainence fixes NOTHING timely, and why they do “fix” is not done well. Upon move out, they will nickel and dime their way out of you to the tune of several hundred dollars. This place is a JOKE and you should RUN.
if i could give it less stars i would... The management is terrible, the "pest control" does not work and it is NOT worth the money. You pay the electric bill through the apt. but what they don't tell you is that you are paying for the entire building's usage... so everyone in that building has the same bill... horrible "gym" nasty pools.... dont bother
They painted over mold in the bathrooms, infested with roaches, they are coming out of the walls, there was mold in my fridge and it takes them a long time to fix things and the girls in the office are rude and if you don't watch them they will try and keep your money order stub when paying rent or bills
I've been living at this place for a short while. And it's flooded. My bathroom is frigging flooded. I can see if I flushed something down. No, the entire complex is currently flooded. Floors wet, and I've called Emergency guys every hour halways. Everyone (staff ) seems to be really slow to take this serious. Think about it, my apartment is like a water park right now. And I think all I have they can say is, " We'll send a cleaners to dry it up and deodorize it". In like What the *Hades bro!? I wanna leave but breaking my lease is gonna suck. Mold, mildew, and I'm sure it's gonna be some damage to walls is on the horizon. I can smell it coming. Guys instill got a roof over my head. Can't complain too much.
Now I've been living in U Club for about a year now and it has been quite the experience. se of the neighbors aren't the friendliest but no complex is perfect. Maintenance is awesome and always comes the day of or early the next morning. Being a college student, U Club is perfect. Rates are great and I was able to furnish my apartment to have future furniture for my new apartment once I graduate in December!
