Property Ratings at University Commons
I highly recommend looking somewhere else to live. I’ve been at university commons for 3 years and my experience here has gotten worse each year. Of course there is normal wear and tear in that time but the landlords did nothing to fix any of the amenities in my unit. Over time the dryer, garbage disposal, dishwasher and microwave stopped working. The washer in most units make this loud banging noise that will shake you and your pet up. The residents throw trash everywhere outside and never clean up after their dogs. It’s pretty depressing pulling into a lot with trash thrown everywhere. The ac/heat system leaves half the unit colder/warmer than the other. I sincerely hope you take my warning seriously
Unless you are okay with a hood-rat setting, I would no longer suggest these. They have become trashy (the area, ground, and people). There is always garbage & dog feces everywhere that no one cleans. I have extremely loud neighbors (screaming/fighting/loud bass music) often smoking weed that ends up smelling my apartment up (might bother some people). The plus side, Low cost (~365 about $45 in utilities per roommate)and large living room/bed rooms. It was an ok place my 1st year but has really become gross and awful. Unfortunately the new apartments in the area are often $600 . Best to look elsewhere.
there an ok place to live, spacious great neighborhood just wished the landlords cared more
It is a 4 bedroom two bathroom one story place. I live on top floor so we don't hear much so it's nice. Kitchen and laundry room very small but get the job done. Overall good place for a College student. Rent is high for this place. Not in a good area though have heard gunshots at night, constant break ins.
