Property Ratings at University Crossing
We just moved our daughter from this complex. The complex has gone down MAJORLY in the past year. Outside trash is overflowing, students walk around smoking marijuana, parties in the parking lot, older non-students places with students!

I am sorry to hear of your less than satisfactory experience and hope you will accept our sincerest apologies.
Do not sign a lease here!!!! They add bogus charges months after you have turned in your keys and lease is over ! Do not fall for the perks or incentives !! This is false advertisement! Pool is closed more than its open. Smells like weed 24/7. You have been warned

Amazing staff! If you ever have a question, just email, call, or come in person and they for sure will answer them right away. They have a community events that are planned out monthly, like cupcake decorating, crawfish boil, and much more. What a great way to get to know the community and your neighbors!

We love hearing that you enjoy living with us, and we love that you are here at University Crossing Apartments!!
Do not, do not, do not live here. If you value peace and quiet, honest management staff, and a peaceful community stay as far away from University Crossing as you can. Police are called to the complex at least once a week, trash everywhere, and uncaring management. After filing several complaints about other residents in Building K, I was told by the property manager I would be able to move apartments. We agreed to wait a while to see if the new property rules would work to resolve my complaints (they didn't), so I returned to him to go ahead with moving apartments. I was told that not only would me and my roommate need to pay a $350 relocation fee (each), but that he could not guarantee us being relocated to the same apartment. As such, I did not move apartments, and still endure the torture of living in Building K to this day. Things that have happened since living here: 1. Woken up at 2 am by a girl running through the complex screaming for help. 2. A one hundred person party in the apartment across from mine, which required police intervention to break up. 3. Gunshots, which according to management occurred off the premises, although I am not convinced. 4. A weekly mountain of trash accumulating around the trash compactor. 5. Regular parties past midnight during the school week. 6. Cars broken into. 7. A notice from management to not walk alone after dark. 8. Constant smell of drug use. My final straw occurred today when I asked if the property manager could contact me in response to a noise complaint I filed last night with Ruston Police Department. I was told that he does not respond to complaints unless serious, and that a noise complaint is not considered serious. Management does not care, except about having cupcake decorating days and waffle bars while the community goes to ruin around them. I understand the risk you take living in student apartments, but the state of living at University Crossing is beyond that. If you however enjoy being a nuisance and disregarding the rules detailed in the lease, University Crossing is the place for you. Management is more than capable of allowing you to cause as much headache for your neighbors and fellow residents as you please. I was foolish and naïve enough to decide to live here. Most of the five star reviews are about the quality of the tour, after which they ask you to leave a review. Again, do not, do not, do not live here.

Thanks so much for leaving this review! We are so glad that you love UC!
This place may seem like the perfect fit for someone coming to college however they charge you for every little thing and any little noise you will get a complaint filed on you. Everyone here is anti social. Don’t fall for it.

Thank you for leaving this detailed feedback about your experience with University Crossing Apartments. Thank you very much for sharing these comments.
They are money hungry. When moving out, they will charge you for any and everything. Management is very difficult to deal with. They are approachable, but they will beat around the bush and don't actually solve problems. Maintenance isn't much of a help either. Rather than fixing or replacing old and outdated appliances, they "bandaid it."
