I have had a great experience! They have very helpful on several occasions! I have needed to ask several questions concerning my lease and the staff has always been so helpful!

This is a nice place to live for my first time moving out . My roommates are nice . UFA hosts events in the clubhouse that make you want to mingle and make new friends . While we also learn something valuable. When I first moved in my room was clean and neat before I even put my things away I already felt at home . The pool is always clean although im to busy to swim in it just yet I plan to next wknd with my friends . We also do things like go to the Bay Area park where there is a beautiful lake and go shopping . UHCL isn’t that far which is convenient considering I’m always in the library. Overall my express here is very nice .

This has been a great experience so far love it here! The staff are great and when maintenance is needed the job is always done either the same day or next day.

Great place they actually take care of their tenants and get everything done within a day or two of requesting so that’s a plus and also they have great clubhouse activities that brings everyone together.

The community is so pleasant and has atmost all the facilities with 24 hours WiFi and electricity without any intervention. The only thing that it shorts is no free facility of washer and dryer, else it could be the best community.

It’s been incredible. Truly. I’ve made so many new friends and had so many experiences I used to dream about having. Couldn’t be happier in my new home!!

I’m glad new cameras in front of the clubhouse were installed. I feel safer in the community now than I did before. The managers listened, and I appreciated that.

Living without a washer and dryer was pretty difficult. Make sure you pay your bills on time or they will enter your unit to physically drop off the notice. Very caring staff, always willing to help out if late on rent.

So far everything has felt nice and good. The community is nice and put together. My only complaint is the noise sometimes I hear the pipes and people outside.

I made it to my 1st full year living here and time went by superbly fast that I was almost too late to renew my lease but managed to get that done on time. I wouldn’t trade my home with another place until I graduate from UHCL. The UFA community is my home — I’ve made new friends and am always eager for upcoming events at the clubhouse!

Better pricing than the on-campus dorms, but many repairs still have to be made through the Request system. Also, only really good if your suitemates are people you already know.

This community is very peaceful and I enjoy living here, and the staff are very helpful and efficient. I love they amenities that they have here and the events that are held here are so much fun, where you can just meet new people and hangout it makes residents feel very comfortable and welcoming.

Great place to live pet friendly and nice staff made a lot of friends here I’ll be sad to leave here definitely recommend hundred percent lol

So far so good here at the University Forest Apartments. I love the quick and convenient access I have to and from campus. I also like that housing here is relatively safe.

Everyone here is so kind & extremely friendly. Anytime you’re in need there’s always someone willing to step in and lend a helping hand. The staff listen to your concerns & make sure something gets done.

best living experience on campus! ive lived in the dorms and prefer this wayyyyy more. super close to every school building and maintenance is on top of everything. love my studio and how spacious it is. everyone keeps to themselves as well.

The apartments are great. They have good maintenance service and an amazing clubhouse. They also host activities which is cool. This allows us to meet other residents and make new friends.

Quick maintenance and quiet area, overall a very good first time experience for a grad student that moved across the country to go to school here.

UFA is a very convenient spot for UHCL students. The amenities provided are a great addition to living here. I highly recommend this location for individuals who are seeking a close and convenient place.

Nice friendly environment. The apartment is decent - it's got a good amount of space, the location isn't too bad, and it's reasonably priced. There are some minor issues, like a bit of roaches in the beginning but all cleared up now. and the kitchen could use an update, but overall, it's a solid choice for someone on a budget.

It's been a good transition for me since this is my first time leasing an apartment. I think this is a good place for a first-time leaser. The staff is really nice and always quick to help. Any maintenance request I've submitted was taken care of within a few days.

It is not bad, maintenance requests are fast, but the side gate for cars has been broken for over 8 months (the whole time I have lived there) and they do not fix it. They are very meticulous on things and the upstairs floors have carpets)

It has been pretty good so far. The staff is amazing. They are very friendly. I love the events that they have during the year. When I have a problem, they usually fix it pretty quickly. I am also okay with my roommates. We don't have any problems. My room is okay too. Everything is pretty good.

Good place for a college student with many amenities. Close to places where home/living essentials are needed. One down side is wishing to know more about a roommate before move in.

I love living at UFA, the amenities are nice, there’s always fun events and I don’t have to worry about safety! Living here has given me a sense of freedom and independence and I couldn’t be happier.

Everything’s been great so far, maintenance’s is usually quick to answer my call. My only small complaint are the random noises but that has nothing to do with the service.

It’s a good place for a college student, close to campus, somewhat affordable, in a decent location. But a downside is the wear of the buildings( items falling apart or not working properly anymore).

Good community. Safe area Maintenance requests are done on time. Need more community events for tenants involvement. Swimming pool needs to be regularly cleaned.

I like the amenities they have to offer, love the pool and the clubhouse as well. It’s a great place for a college student to live. Reasonably priced and attentive RA’s and maintenance works quickly.

The staff makes the community really worth it. The apartment is bug prone and the apartments are old without a lot of renovations so it can be a lot. But the staff really makes the apartments livable, the maintenance is always right on time and working hard.

It has been nice living here. The maintenance staff is prompt and so kind. They are able to attend to maintenance requests within 2 days or so.

Living here has been really good. Community is nice and safe and staff is extremely friendly and helpful! Maintenance also arrives in short amount of time when a problem has occured and get the job done!!

Its the perfect apartment for college student. Easy access to campus, responsive staff, and lots of opportunities to interact with community.

I really enjoy my stay here. The office staff are very helpful and friendly. The manager, Andrew is very understanding and flexible when it comes to reasonable requests. The management staff are awesome and timely. The units are adequate for the price. The location is close to everything. I enjoy the amenities and the community. The semester events are fun to join.

PARENTS BEWARE!!! And STUDENTS BEWARE!! Grown men in there 40s will walk into your apartment twice every single week to “inspect” your apartment. I lived here alone and the manager would always enter my apartment and flirt with me. I’ve tried to end my lease for this reason and he will not let me! Even offered to pay all of the fees to get out of my lease and NO. They are so desperate for tenants because they can barley fill rooms. If you want to feel genuinely uncomfortable everyday and pay a ridiculous amount of money for a tiny room WITH NO PRIVACY LIKE THAT ADVERTISE move here.

The apartments are cheaply refurbished each year. They paint the walls, countertops, and even the bathtub with grey paint to cheaply make it look fresh. My walls were so thickly coated with paint that it didn't dry until I was almost ready to move out, which was 9 months. The apartments are small and the carpets are disgusting. There was pretty severe water damage from the previous year in my kitchen so the floors had significant sagging and dents. It is a pretty safe area, as it is gated and police patrol a majority of the day, but things still happen, such as break ins. Although they are university apartments, they are not through the school and cannot be claimed for tax purposes.
