Located about 100 miles north of Seattle, Happy Valley is one of Bellingham’s most wooded neighborhoods. Similar to other Washington communities, Happy Valley has underdeveloped pockets of land and access to parks, wetlands, forests, and meadows. It’s common to catch an owl, deer, or even a horse grazing in town. Along with natural beauty, Happy Valley is best known for bordering Western Washington University and students or faculty can walk to campus in under 15 minutes. Management is the worst I've ever seen. They are so unorganized and unhelpful and don't care about their tenants at all.

Management is awful, I recommend checking out the other reviews posted around the internet. I couldn’t get them to call me back at any point over the course of a year. It took over 2 months to get a key to my mailbox & many times the office was closed. I sent easily 10+ emails without ever getting a response in regards to coordinating my move out, no one ever responded. There have been a few accounts of them continuing to charge people after they move out & sending them to collections. This place is obscenely overpriced for the area, if I were you I’d just find somewhere else.
