I really enjoy living here! There’s tons of ways to connect and I have a very peaceful space here so I can relax and also study. I love that I get a kitchen to meal prep and in my opinion the pay isn’t horrible it’s really nice for all the amenities we get.

I’ve had a solid experience living at these apartments. You really get what you pay for, and for the price, it’s been worth it. One of the biggest perks is that utilities are included in the rent and it makes budgeting so much easier. I also really appreciate the safety measures in place. Between the UTSA Police Department and the RAs patrolling daily it definitely feels like a secure environment. Overall, it’s a good place to live especially for students looking for convenience and peace of mind.

It definitely wasn’t what I was expecting when I first arrived my freshman year. There needs to be a lot of upgrades that need to be done on the older units and if you get stuck in one there isn’t much to do. The apartments are super small but you make do with what you have.

For the price, it's not too shabby. The programs offered are various and nice. The staff is nice, but I wouldn't say they are the best communicators. The utilities are old and you might have to put a lot of maintenance requests in but I guess you get what you pay for.

Its ok. I like that it is close to campus so I can just walk to class but it is pretty obvious the buildings are old because there is a lot of mold buildup in things like the vents and issues with the hvac unit are common.

Apartment size is good, wifi is down for hours at a time sometimes, you have to pay a lot of money for an annual parking pass (over $100 currently)

Being a resident here is sub-par. Stove and dishwasher are bad. They give you an oversized bed so rooms feels small. Everything else is just okay. They put a massive premium for the UTSA proximity.

Wish the hot tub worked and that the pool wasn’t freezing all year. And I wish there was less bugs like roaches not a fan one fell in my hair when I was showering, speaking of the shower the handle is broken so that’s awesome only gets boiling hot. And the mold in the bathroom is great oh and the fire alarm going off to nothing in the middle of the night. And the door that I have to fight to get open half the time where at one point I literally just stayed in my room all day till the door decided it wanted to let me out.

they got rid of the hot tub in phase 3 and ngl that was the best part. The maintenance team needs work they didn’t come fix the vent ac in weeks when they left it open and never put it back on until a day ago they saw it was still off.

It’s been really nice there’s a great community at university oaks. I kinda gave up on maintenance after trying to have them come down and fix my cabinet handles 5 times with no success. But besides that everything’s fine.

My experience in the apartment has been great. Mainance is helpful and work well. The downfall is that there are not visitor parking for when ever parents want to come visit. And lately the hot water has been gone for a couple of hours. But other than that is a good apartment complex.

Decent apartments! It’s definitely no luxury experience but you get what you pay for! Yet again I don’t think as college students, we need luxurious apartment. I especially like that utilities are included in the rent, so it’s a set price each month! No washer/dryers in the apts, so 4/5!

I haven’t had any bad experiences while I have lived here. It’s not bad but is expensive for what it is. The walls are pretty thin so you can hear everything.

Not many people do stuff around so it gets kinda boring. The RA's hold events but it's usually not that fun to actually do or play. The hot tubwas a great way to meet new people

It's alright, I mean for a first-time apartment for a college student, there are worse areas. Most of the time the pipes for water get messy so not hot water, happens every other month. Office workers will be banging on your door loudly, which is always a tick of mine. People who have pets don't clean up after themselves. But I mean, I lived here for three years now, so It could be worse. Only real pro is that everything is included in rent

I love it here! the wifi is horrible but I don't mind paying for it since utilities are included. UTSA PD patrols daily which makes me feel safer. Which is why I have not moved off campus.

I like these apartments, they’re pretty nice and the staff is always very helpful. Though, the maintenance is kind of slow or sometimes doesn’t respond to request.

I've only resided at University Oaks for a little over two months but I can confidently say that I enjoy the overall experience. I particularly like having my own space and having the ability to utilize a fully functional kitchen. Living at University Oaks has been a decent time in the past month and a half. When I first moved in there were a lot of small problems like multiple outlets not working and my toilet not working properly. I submitted work orders for these issues and they seem to not be of enough importance as they were never checked out and ignored while other work orders I placed were taken care of. The apartments are very overpriced for what you get but it is a college apartment. Overall a decent apartment complex that is over market value for less features and no in unit washer and dryer. There are cheaper options that are nicer and do not make you pay for laundry.

it has been good everything is nice, my only complaint is i saw a roach once in our bathroom but we have not seen it since so other than that i enjoy living here and its really affordable compared to other places

I completely regret moving here. If you’re not a local to san antonio to might not be familiar with the other apartments just off campus, but please go there. My current apartment didn’t start out so bad, it was really gross and there was dried paint all over the floor from the landlord special. The place started out smelling strongly of mold so I assume it has mold somewhere inside it, but a good cleaning fixed the place right up. The appliances provided are fairly middle of the road, they’re pretty old but they work for the most part. But the real issue with this place is the infestations. There are roaches everywhere in the kitchen. I’ve done all the at home stuff to get rid of them and they’re still everywhere. The complex exterminators can in and did basically nothing. Even worse, once you sign your lease, there’s no getting out of it. Trust all the other reviews and try somewhere else.

My experience of university of oaks been bad due to the fact the vents are constantly dirty to the point I get severely ill. And the pool is lie looks dirty and old 24/7. They make the apartments look new but it literally looks like I jump through a Time Machine to the 90’s.

The housing is not bad for the price, but the staff has a major issue with communication. The maintenance is often late or unaware of what units are occupied. They are kind enough, but seem to not understand how most residents are busy and can not restructure our lives around their miscommunication problems. Me and my roommate had many issues moving units over the summer to the point we almost moved out completely because of the staffs inability to communicate properly. Overall I would only recommend living here if you need a cheap place.

Had a cricket problem for a bit but all good now, Some issues with the shower as well, the dishwasher was full with old water from the last tenant that made a horrible smell, but as long as you let maintenance know all issues will be resolved

Great apartment for a college student, host many community activities for all residents, very understanding to residents needs (ex. they have free groceries once a week) and laundry room is always clean and in order.

The place is relatively nice (there is running water and electricity.) The main problems are the bugs and wi-fi, which is ok on a good day and absent on others.

The wifi is troublesome- always coming on and off and overall not great connection. There are lots of bugs, and it's not the cleanest, some stains I still have trouble removing. Great staff, good location, & convenient.

Overall pretty nice. It was kinda grimy when we first moved in , but some cleaning took care of that. The stove things don’t fit correctly on the burners, but two of them work.

while there are a couple of ants here or there, and maybe a cricket, the pest control is free and basically on call, not to mention the freebies UOaks gives you for the very low prices. the oven and stove provide are decent enough and have made themselves useful dozens of times. It ain't living in a mansion, but its exactly what I wanted and a little more than expected.

I love my apartment and my roommates. The survey university oaks gives out before you move in works if you take it seriously! I would love to dorm here again for college. Thankfully it’s still my freshman year so I got a lot more time here to enjoy this.

It’s been really good, it’s very quite at night not much activity going on. However, the water pipes are pretty loud which isn’t a big deal but can get annoying. Everyone is very friendly and welcoming I haven’t had a run in with someone who wasn’t.
