Property Ratings at University Park Apartments
I loved living here. It’s clean and quiet. The maintenance does enter without notice which I didn’t like but I spoke up about it and invested in cameras. Never had that issue again. My family grew so we’ve moved on to a bigger space but great place to live.
I would give 0 stars if I could. I had so many issues with this complex , I had to get PD involved. I am a female and maintenance would enter with no warning. Water constantly was off . Just so much

We are sorry to hear that you spent a year here and had so many issues. We know it is impossible to make everyone happy but it is extremely impossible if we are not aware of issues. Our maintenance department enters without warning only for emergencies, which it sounds like may be your case (water is only shut off during emergency plumbing repairs). Wishing you the best in your future endeavors.
I just want to say I have been a resident at this apartment complex since 2019 and I have NEVER had a problem at this facility. Every maintenance guy I've run into is so nice and everyone in the office is great! I'm not really sure what's everyone problem is with the office lol. I have recommended people to this place and they have never had a problem either....

Thank you for your positive feedback. Seems the only reviews we get are from people who don't want to follow the rules. We strive to make our community nice for EVERYONE and our job is to keep it that way for EVERYONE but we can't please EVERYONE all the time. Have a great day!
Between living here for a good amount of time, gotten to see how unprofessionally run this place is. Make sure if you sign your lease here make sure you have a lawyer present because this place will find their loop holes to screw you over. Maintenance and the staff are unprofessionally rude and will try to be intimidating if any issues arise. For the price of this place I wouldn’t even suggest for anyone looking for a cheap place because this place will get as much money as they can. The parking is atrocious and the maintenance workers will park wherever they pls and take up extra visitors parking and numbered parking. If I had known what I know now I would’ve look gone for literally anything else to move into. Nonetheless, if you want to live at an apartment complex that will legally legally intimidate you for issues they cause, this is the place for you.

As required by law, we do give 3 days attorney review period for leases. I am sorry you find us rude and unprofessional and I can only assume it is because there is a rule we have that you do not like. Obviously we have rules and regulations for a reason. Thank you for your understanding. Have a nice day.
Incredibly rude staff. Maintenance is slow. These people do not care about quality And apparently taste. Trashy And the property manager is very very very rude and unprofessional. Appliances are seriously old. I regret everyday signing a lease here. Please do yourself a favor and don’t live here.
After living in the apartments for 6+ years, primarily due to the affordable rent. I work an hour north and make that commute daily because.everything in North Jersey is too expensive. After all this time, I finally met the owner today. She gave me an awful attitude over the parking spot I've been using for years. It's a shame when your only job is to talk to your tenants, and you can't even do that right. Would not recommend renting from them.
DO NOT live here, management is very rude and ignorant and just want as much money out of you as possible. appliances very out of date. my refrigerator broke and 200 dollars worth of food went bad waiting for maintenance to repair it. and Landscaping and property is very dis tasteful. I REPEAT DO NOT LIVE HERE!
I absolutely love this complex! I’ve only been here a few weeks so I can’t too much speak on it but thus far it is amazing. For the price it goes beyond. Very calm and peaceful area. No issues other than one personal in the management office who is so mean for no reason, extremely snappy as if you are bothering her. The other ladies I adore , they are so helpful and pleasant . Would recommend to others just not the manager .
I have being living in this place for almost 2 years, what I can said, I love it, quiet, beautiful, very nice people, I will miss my privacy and all the good time that I have here, thanks maintenance team for all the great job do in this place, thanks UPA for all the good job every day since I here, thanks again and good luck. PD: Live is a short time we share whit a lot of people, I grateful for the people I found here.
Dee helped me through every step of my move-in process and made me feel very welcomed. Her service alone was one of the reasons I chose to live here. My apartment is great and was very clean! I could tell Dee was working hard and also had patience with me throughout this process. I know I’ll be here for a very long time as it is affordable and in a quiet area.
It's beautiful here, it's countrified but everything you could want is a couple miles down rt 38. I can't say enough about the grrreat staff, Bonnie, Denise, Dee, and MaryAnn are meticulous about their work; that makes the stress of moving so much better, the application and instructions spell everything out and you don't have to guess about anything, if you appreciate competent people this makes for an organized, well kept complex. Maintenance already went above and beyond for me, carrying my big screen TV up to the second floor when it was delivered on the wrong day, they secured it for me. When I moved in the apartment was spotless, the cleaning crew was exceptional. I love it here, everyone is very nice and courteous, you have to see for yourself this beautiful area surrounded by farms, there are many farmers markets in the area.
This is by far the worst complex in the universe. The staff and owner are extremely rude. If you have an issue with your apartment, don't expect it to get resolved for weeks. The walls and floor are paper thin you can hear everything and anything. I don't care that it's cheap rent. You get less than what you pay for here. DO NOT come here unless you absolutely have to financially. You will be miserable. I have been here for 3 years and now I am on a month to month and will be getting out of here asap!!!!!!! I want to LIVE happy.
I've been here since July 2015 and I love it . It's clean and maintenance comes on time when you need them . The office ladies are very nice as well Apt 340 ??
I'm really happy here. I just moved September 1 and so far, it's been a great experience. The washers and dryers are all new, it's quiet, the neighbors are friendly and my apartment is actually nicer than the model was. The water pressure is fine, the staff is very nice and professional and it's overall been a really great experience. I needed to replace my door lock because I lost my key and they came right over and took care of it -- there was no waiting for help. I'm happy with the Internet I have comcast and it's fast. There's a dish here too so I like that there's options. I really overall can't say enough good things I really love it here!
I have to admit, after looking at the previous reviews I was skeptical but now that I've moved in I can't believe how happy I am here. The staff is very supportive, friendly and they explained everything very well to me. They helped me out with all of my requests immediately. The water pressure is perfect and the place is clean and quiet. It's a really great place for an unbelievable price. I'm very happy here!
Just moved in a few days ago and the experience has been great. The staff are fairly pleasant people, as far as I can tell. The grounds are neatly kept being that my neighbors work together in keeping order. Friendly neighbors. I feel comfortable thus far. Will update in a month.
It's my home even though it's not my home, but everytime as I turn the key and walk through the door I make it my home. The way I clean and admire the freshness that surrounds me gives me the appreciation to accept the room around me and the roof that covers it. It's my home away from home .
I love it here. The place is spotless and I really enjoy everything. It's affordable prices make me want to stay for a long time. It's a home now for us and we cant be happier.
The staff is completely rude and unable to work with you on anything. They still haven't fixed the problems I reported when I first moved. The office staff with the exception of Dee are rude. They dont manage their staff they just left them do work when they feel like it. I read a few reviews on here that seemed way too positive so im assuming they were written by the management. None of the tenants here like where they leave in fact people try to escape so much so that they eliminated their lease break agreement. So better be ready to commit to a really awful place there's no out once you sign that lease.
Rude stuff and worst service. if you have pets or kids, you better stay away.
I thought i'd move here to save some extra money, but that was a mistake! The management does not respond to maintenance requests. Tenants in this complex are extremely frustrated with the management's refusal to fix essential quality of life issues (HVAC,refrigeration, water issues, leaks etc). The price is somewhat cheap, but the creaky floors, rusty door hinges, caked-on chipping paint, old appliances, old wiring (slow & unreliable internet), constantly clogging toilets & bad water pressure make living here not even worth it. There are better places nearby for great prices.
I have lived around the corner from these apartments all of my life, I have always liked the look of them and the price is great also
The staff at University Apartments is excellent as they are always helpful and friendly. The maintenance staff is great at fixings things, although sometimes takes a few days to resolve a problem. The local neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. The value for the price you pay is excellent. Sometimes neighbors can be noisy, but most of the time they are quiet.
I have a really great friend whom lives here at this property and I have spent time here I have to say this a really great apartment complex, it's clean, quiet, and maintenance is always kept very well...
