Property Ratings at University Square
This apartment is a very good starter apartment. It's not as expensive as rivaling apartments in the area, is very close to the Arizona State campus, and has a gate to keep the apartment complex safe. On the down side, the building are very old, so the quality of the apartments is lacking, there is a bug problem (especially when it's hot outside), and the neighbors are extremely noisy. The main office also lacks good communication and at times provides residents incorrect information or will take a long time to respond.
University Pointe does not have the most extravagant looks on the outside, however it is still pleasant to look at and not embarrassing. Everything is set up very conveniently; the on complex laundry mat, basketball court, swimming pool, exercise facility and club house are all easily accessible unlike many other apartment complexes in Tempe. University Pointe is also very close to campus which is extremely convenient for students especially ones who bike like me. The inside of these apartments are very nice!!!!! Like better than just about every apartment in Tempe including The District, The View, The Hub/University House & etc. The window view may not be as nice but the interior is much higher quality than the more expensive apartments like the ones I just named. I moved from The District to here and I do not regret my decision. I had to pick between Gateway and University Pointe and I chose University Pointe because the inside of the apartment was much nicer! Apparently they are building a gate around the complex now which will require a fob! I'm super pumped for that! Overall, University Pointe is the apartment that gives you the most for what you're paying! Much cheaper than the more popular apartments by campus & definitely a lot quieter!
