Beautiful neighborhood, very walkable. It just needs more regular parking spots. Expensive rent shouldn’t tackle on more costs for covered parking/garage.

Overall lovely neighborhood, but could be better. It starts with the residents putting their trash in the dumpsters. I know a lot of you think rodents are lurking by the dumpsters at night but they’re not. Keep putting trash outside of the dumpsters & we will have a rodent problem. The front office leasing staff could be more polite and welcoming (some not most). The maintenance staff is great & good at what they do. I appreciate them a lot. They fix the most simplest issues I have in my unit.

Overall I’ve had a great experience at Uptown! My new neighbors upstairs have a new dog and are slightly loud, but I can’t complain about the staff they’ve been very quickly accommodating and helpful.

Awesome place to live! The grounds are kept up nicely, and maintenance is really good. I love my 3 bedroom, 2 full bath space. I have lived here a year & a half and couldn’t be happier. The amenities are amazing, and there isn’t a better place in Canton to live!

I've been a resident in uptown apartments over 6 years I really enjoy living there the community is awesome the apartment complex does a lot of different activities for the residents and they keep up the property. I am a current uptown resident and I am appalled by the lack of customer service and upkeep on these units. The countless issues paired with being ignored by the office staff are not at all worth the price they charge monthly. Beware!

The apartment looks nice from the appearance but think twice before you sign the lease as the management team is really hard to work with. And the building is poorly built with paper-thin walls. Not worth the money.

I spent 3 years at uptown when it should have been less. I should have moved out when I got the keys to my 800 spft apartment and the entire living space was covered in dirt. I should have moved out when I noticed the dryer vent was not connected and it took a whole month for maintenance to fix it. I should have moved out when my apartment started to flood and i discovered they didn't have proper city drainage as the entrance to my patio double doors were the low point in the the valley. Once they had "proper drainage" and the issue still occured. They asked me how much water got in, being modest I did not say a lot and they told me, "be grateful." As someone living with a disability, they were able to help me take the trash out once a month but would not spare twice a month "as they may not have the staff." Not sure how many disabled people are on campus there, except for those that are not disabled and wrongfully park in handicap spots that the office staff do nothing about.

Very nice and quiet area. Everyone is friendly. Plenty of commercial area and store fronts. Parking in ok. The Dog park is very large for dog owners. Would recommend 10/10.

upon arrival everyone was super friendly getting us started and moved in. they staff here have been super friendly. the apartment is wonderful. only thing i wish could be better is parking. other than that it is great!

Have some structural leakage from roof outdoor patio, leakage upper floor water heater and water heater in my apartment needed to be replaced. Personnel in leading office and maintenance has been responsive. Overall not bad just wish I don’t have to experience this two weeks into apartment.

The apartments are nice and best of all for us, very little carpet. We were looking for an apartment with a decent size bedroom and little to no carpet. The only negatives are the narrow streets and minimal parking near the building.

Love it! The apartments are clean and well taken care of. Staff is very friendly and helpful too! Very close to a lot of the community with some restaurants in walking distance and shops at Ford road only 10 mins away!

I didn't know how to express my frustration. We had a bad experience in the application process, but it was not the worst. We moved into the unit and found so many things broken(the broken spy hole allows you to stretch your finger out through the opening, leaking A/C, broken cabinet, and shower door). Can the leasing offing check out the property before renting it? We asked them to fix some items before we moved in, but they only set what they called the most emergent one, the leaking a/c. God, everything is emergent for us, and we don’t know how long it will take to restore all items! They told us to request maintenance on their website, but every request is automatically set as "non-emergent." Besides, the balcony light and the air conditioner were kept on before we moved in, wasting electricity! I will update the latest development.

Pros: Good floor plans with in unit washer/dryer and dishwasher. Working plumbing, AC, and heating. Parking always available. Very quick and responsive maintenance. Great cost for the quality. Property manager is fair. Cons: Covered parking is a bit tight. No recycling program. Not much space for storage. I have lived here for 3 years now, and it's gotten even better with renovations and a more responsive office. I highly recommend this community.

PLEASE READ BEFORE RENTING! I will start by saying the staff at the beginning of our lease application were very friendly and helpful, but it soon turned to disappointment when my partner and I quickly realized that they are only there to do the bare minimum. We had a move in date on a Friday, that they waited till the day of to tell us the unit we picked was not cleaned and we were forced to wait till the following Friday (today) for it to be fully cleaned and inspected. Why would they not clean/inspect a unit before listing it as avaliable? So come to today and we get an email saying that it STILL has not been cleaned and we would need to wait even longer. So two Fridays off of work wasted for their mismanagement and two weekends in a row that we have to apologize for wasting our family and friends time with helping us move. Instead of trying to make it right, the management blamed the cleaners and their only other option for us was to cancel our lease. This place has zero respect for your time and will do the absolute bare minimum required to be considered a "professional" place of business. Move in at your own risk, these people don't care about you.

My roommate and I have lived in Uptown for three years now and recently applied to transfer within the apartment complex to a larger unit for a fourth year. The first three years have been relatively pleasant, but the recent change in the office staff has resulted in extreme difficulty and frequent issues. To process our new application, we filled out all of the info that was requested of us in the online portal, submitted employment verification, paid the app fee, paid a fee to secure the apartment we wanted. After paying to secure the new apt., I got a call from the new management staff telling me that my application was missing my birthday, SSN, current address (which is in the same complex), etc. and requesting that I submit them via email. After a few hours of emailing back and forth with a rep, the rep suddenly stopped replying. One of the property managers told us that the rep went on vacation, and I got yet another request for information. Following up on that request, another property manager told me that the rep we’d already communicated the info to was “no longer with [them].” After a few calls and multiple email exchanges, I thought I had finally resolved the issues, until a few days ago when I got a conditional acceptance of my application stating that I have insufficient employment history. Calling the office staff, I was told that I needed to demonstrate that I’d been with my place of employment for over 2 years (I’ve been employed by the same place for 5 years). They told me that my application said that I started at my job in January 2022, but the accurate info should’ve been on my credit report that they pulled. On top of this, they indicate that we owe them another application fee. What had been a relatively pleasant experience with the staff here is quickly souring. Definitely make sure to keep records of your conversations with the office staff.

Uptown stood out among our search of Apartments in the area were in high demand. The complex is built within the last 20 years and the grounds are well maintained. They have understandably had their own challenges through the pandemic, which is why I've been patient with their maintenance team as they seem short staffed. In our experience, it's been an overall great place to live, with a few setbacks with the move in process and timely repairs. Location is Uptown's best quality - many walkable amenities, salon, ice cream, market, dog park, schools... A short 5 minute drive on Ford Rd and you have every major retail store. It's about a 15 minute drive to get on the highway, which is a good quality in my opinion. One repair we're waiting on was noted by Justin when we looked at the apartment 6 months ago and after multiple emails, office visits, and no-shows, and disorganization we've had to start looking at withholding a portion of rent until the repair is made in full. The office staff are nice, it seems that they have a lot on their plate at the moment, but 6 months is an exorbitant amount of time. As gym hours have been limited to office hours, my wife has been especially affected by early closer times than expected when the office staff closed up shot early. My advice for anyone moving in would be to get everything in writing from the beginning, get to know the office staff, and be patient on repairs.

was set to move in last Saturday was given an approval letter a month prior and a welcome letter. They had taken the holding fee and the deposit. on the day of the move-in, they told us the lease papers were not written yet when they knew for two months that was the day we were moving in. While they did that we went to look at our new construction apartment. It was not ready or cleaned. They had others that were finished but they put us in one that was not. When we got back to the office they told us that we were denied when we were approved a month prior. All of our things were packed and our lease was up at the place we lived prior to moving in. They left us out basically in the streets during a pandemic. You do not need a second credit check to write lease papers. We were already approved. They said there was nothing they could do. The WORST company ever. No care for anyone at all.

Where do I even begin? I was expected to sign a lease before I could even see my apartment (or any apt of that style). I was treated with disrespect both in person, on the phone, and in emails. They also ignored several calls and emails from me and my roommate. I was told the approval process would take 48 hours but my application wasn’t even viewed for 3 weeks. If you have to deal with a man named Justin then GOOD LUCK. Because he is rude and will straight up lie to your face about dates. I never ended up getting the apartment purely based on the management and lack of organization. Found a nearby place that actually looked at and approved my application in 3 days (crazy, right?!). They also didn’t mention that the $500 “holding fee” was only refundable for 48 hours until I told them I was going elsewhere. Don’t let them do to you what they did to me. Don’t even waste your time with them or with Justin.

Disclaimer- I never lived here but got to the lease signing stage and backed out (so glad I did). When first touring the apartment complex, the model apartments were beautiful and I was ready to sign. I was promised a 2-day turn around on my application. Two weeks (Much more than 2-days) later I received a phone call telling me my application was finally approved, but after never receiving the lease via email I had to call multiple times to find out they hadn’t even looked at my application. A week later I was actually approved an received the lease. I was then promised that I could see my actual apartment the next week (now 4 weeks into this process and 10 days out from the scheduled move in day) so I drove an hour away to view the apartment just to be told that they cannot show the place to me due to Company policy. Mind you the model apartment that was shown to me wasn’t even the same layout of the apartment I was going to rent. I ultimately decided if the management company was unresponsive and lacked timeliness when I was trying to give them my money then they definitely would not be responsive when I needed something fixed. I found a beautiful place about 10 minutes away that is perfect. Side note- the $500 deposit to take the listing off their website and “secure it” only is refundable for 48 hours even though they don’t even view your application in that time frame.

I wasn’t happy for a month after very first visit. I like the property, environment everything, but the leasing agent tour me is not profession at all! Late response or no response for email or calls. When walk into the office, if he is the only one there, never got greeting from him. He never read my email, at least never pay attention to my email attachment for application until I went there physically. What if I move from other state and can’t be onsite very often? However, on the other hand, Tiffany is very helpful and sweet! Quick email response and make everything right. She works very professional. The owner and manager are great and helpful too!
