Uptown Square Apartment Homes

I live in unit 2F, on the third floor, and was initially told there would be a laundry room on every floor. However, there is only one laundry room on the first floor. This has made doing laundry more inconvenient than expected, especially with the need to go up and down multiple times. It would be very helpful if seating were added in the laundry room, allowing residents to wait comfortably for their laundry. This small addition could significantly improve the experience. Thank you for considering this suggestion.

I have lived in this complex for years, and the Indi is in a great location and has a cool industrial style. The amenities are frequently broken because no one is held accountable for their actions. The mailroom is constantly broken into, there is dog pee on the bridges and everything, lots of leaks currently seen in walls. Overall for price, pretty good just wish we made the residents behave as adults. Otherwise, I really do enjoy it. The new management seems to be really trying but there are some things that are exceptionally frustrating.

I love my apartment and the amenities. Also, I really like the location in uptown. People are friendly in the neighborhood too. The only issue I had was my AC not being strong enough for the summer heat due to malfunctioning and needing to be turned off for a couple of days.

Adjusting to downtown Denver has some challenges but I love the energy of the city. I'm new to Colorado and enjoyed the early snow, awesome surprise! The leasing office has been responsive overall and very kind in helping me navigate the various areas of the complex. I like my apartment, so cozy and enjoying the street view as well. Thankful for the garage too.

Living at Uptown Square Apartments has been a mostly positive experience for me. The community events and numerous amenities make it very easy to meet new friends, and the rent for my studio apartment is affordable. Working with the leasing office is usually a hassle, as they are quite often non-responsive or take months to resolve an issue. Other than that, however, I do enjoy living in this community.

Leasing office staff was very helpful. And I was able to get a great price for the square footage of my unit. The covered parking garage is only $75 a month which is also a very competitive price in the city.

The renovated apartments are beautiful, clean, and unique. The leasing office is extremely slow with fixing anything, or following through on updates and communication in general. Something major (like mail room, call boxes, elevators) is always broken and takes MONTHS to be fixed if they ever do it. Maintenance is quick and efficient which is nice.

great place to live. great neighbors and amenities. the gym is great and so is the pool.they have a lot of different events as Well so that you can get to y know your neighbors

I've enjoyed my experience here especially the service from the maintenance team. They have been diligent responsive and have gone above and beyond for any maintenance issue request that I have submitted. Thank you!

The events are great and it’s a fun way to meet new people and hang with current friends! The events team does a fantastic job of having diverse activities that anyone can join in on

I have lived living here at Uptown Square! It is truly a one-of-a-kind apartment complex. I have met so many people through their monthly events, that I’d never have met otherwise. It really feels like a true community here. I will definitely be resigning! I am so excited to see all of my new friends at all of the events this next year! I love my apartment layout, and love that we have such a diverse set of units, and buildings! All of us have unique units, which is so cool! I also really do enjoy the various courtyards we have here. It is an easy way to enjoy the outdoors without having to travel away from home.

So far I am loving my new place. I’ve had several maintenance requests, all of which were addressed in a very timely manner and the maintenance staff has been so cordial and prompt, which is greatly appreciated!

Been awesome.. very quiet and peaceful. Community is amazing!…….. I love the laundry rooms always clean, and maintenance are awesome!! Recommend

Its a nice community to live at. Closer to the downtown and neighborhood shops are available for faster access and convenience .there is still a room for improvements in terms of lounge pool tables .

Renewing my lease was very easy with the staff. Staying in same apartment and rent went up a decent amount. Would like Urban Dogg to stop leaving their garbage outside on the ground under my apartment.

Great! Had a good move in process and everyone is really inviting and helpful. Good apartment but no laundry in unit. On my floor tho. So it’s all good :)

Great location but security could be better.. motorcycle got vandalized twice in the garage, bicycle and package room gets broken into too often for my liking

Great management staff shout out to both Carlos and Alayna . This is my secound time at Uptown Square Apartments. I am glad to be back and enjoy living here again.

I'm renewing for the second time now so I so like living here. I don't hear any of my neighbors whatsoever and maintenance comes fairly quickly. The leasing office staff is getting better over time and the fire alarm problem in my building has improved greatly.

Pretty old apartment and the office is slow. Maintenance is frequent and the courtyard is maintained poorly. I do like some of the other buildings but just depends.

The neighborhood is in walking distance to restaurants, bars, and a grocery store which is nice. However like most of Denver there is a problem with homelessness in the area

I love the layout of my apartment and the community and neighborhood. The events are fun and a nice to meet neighbors. Everything else like management and amenities definitely have room for improvement

Uptown Square Apartment Homes are in the cutest neighborhood that is close to a bunch of areas downtown - the convenience is great! For being in a busy neighborhood, there is little to no noise from the streets, which is cool!

No AC since July 14, no windows to crack open, and nothing from maintenance for a temporary solution. If it is not fixed soon we won’t have heat either because it runs on the same rooftop unit. We love our unit and there is no other like it in Denver. That is why we stay and put up with the terrible service.

The staff are friendly and nice, but over the course of many many months of following up on the same maintenance issue I've heard the refrain 'we'll update you tomorrow,' which actually happens ~20% of the time. It's become apparent that not only are they frequently forgetting to follow up with me, they are also frequently forgetting to follow up on the maintenance issue itself. The proposed compensation for going so long without this component of my apartment working is also absurdly low, at 1.5% of rent discount.

Maintenance is slow and unreliable, Uptown prioritizes planting flowers over fixing doors into the building, getting the call box working, and tending to broken washing machines.

Too many complaints for one review. I would never recommend this complex to anyone. The lack of caring about the residents. Maintenance issues and general management are poor at best.

The staff isn’t helpful unless you threaten to elevate the issue, fire alarms go off frequent at all hours of the day/night, and nothing is safe.

Really good so far, love the atmosphere. Love the area and different restaurants in the area. Few things here and there but nothing out of the norm of apartment life.

It’s not the best but not the worst place to live either. Good price for what you get. Restaurants around the complex are fun to go to and grab a drink also!

Definitely room for improvement when it comes to communication between maintenance, front desk, and customers. Overall decent community, good walking distance from shops, great location.

I would not recommend the management system to anyone. As long as you don’t have any issues with your apartment, building, or lease, all might be fine but if there’s a single issues that arises, management is useless

Uptown Square is located in the center of the city, in a cute neighborhood that borders RiNo, Five Points, the Civic Center, Cap Hill and downtown Denver. The price is affordable and the complex comes with a bunch of amenities — a pool, gym, rooftop and various courtyards.

I’ve just moved in but so far I am loving my new place!! Everyone in the leasing office has been very kind and helpful! It was a super easy and smooth process getting moved in! Love the courtyard area!

Uptown Square Apartments is a great place for a young, urban professional to live. The location is unbeatable, and we have great amenities like the rooftop lounge and private pool. The community events are always fun, too! It is unfortunate that rent always seems to be increasing, and management is sometimes not as responsive to certain things as one would hope. And it seems like floods are very common, so having insurance for that is crucial.

Did not get keys on move in day because of needed "deep clean" to unit. Upon receiving keys the dishwasher was horrendously disgusting. The hallway bathroom toilet was abysmal. And there was dust on the walls. All of our windows are broken and most missing screens.

Only big issues are packages missing from the parcel locker room and fire alarm going off more often than I'd like. Smaller issues are restrooms in pool and fitness area do not get replenished.

I just moved in and I love it already! There are so many amenities to take advantage of and there are so many things to do around here. I’ve already eaten at a couple restaurants around here and they are great.

I actually like living here - wanted to refer a friend - too bad the reviews online are all so negative. Many of the things that I disliked when I moved in have been improved on.

Would give 0 stars if possible. By FAR the most strenuous, exhausting, oppressive and stressful apartment complex I have ever lived in (of nearly a dozen total). They botched my move-in and the Unit that I signed a lease for was occupied when I arrived on my move-in date. This was even after I called the day before to confirm my move-in was to happen as scheduled (and written in contract). I’ve had at least a dozen packages stolen. I have come across homeless people who have “shacked up” in the hallways, sometimes just a few doors down - so they can avoid the elements and use the hallway plugs to charge their devices. The leasing office is absolutely useless and will only attempt to address issues if brought to them in person, during office hours. I have dealt with flooding, fire alarms going off consistently at late night and early morning hours for seemingly no reason, and have been without A/C for nearly 3 weeks as we are experiencing a heat advisory.

The staff here is attentive to anything that needs fixing within my apartment. They respond almost immediately to my service request. The building is nice, I have not felt unsafe in the past 6 months.

Generally an okay place to live. Fire alarm and maintenance issues are common and all of the amenities advertised are not functional. If the rent was cheaper I wouldn’t complain but it’s pretty normal rent for the area so I expected better.

I'm really enjoying living here. This is my third complex in the uptown area and by far was the cleanest when I moved in. The staff is super attentive and the facilities are kept pretty clean. I love all the events that go on as well.

Regarding the price, I have great square footage and like community events. Maintenance is an issue; the fire alarms falsely go off too many times, there is no recycling, and parts of the building are embarrassing. (Water damage and doors/locks not being fixed)

The amenities here are very unique and cool compared to other complexes in the Uptown neighborhood. Our pool is fantastic! And the gym is open 24/7 for exercise any time that works with your schedule!

Never have had a positive experience with management. They also love to respond to reviews and make it appear that they care, or will do something about your complaint—but it’s all show. Once you actually talk to them in person they reiterate what they said the last time. The events are fun and the maintenance staff is nice!

The staff are very nice. But unfortunately the complex is not managed properly, appliances, ac/heat breaks constantly, I have cracks in my ceiling, gates are broken all the time, holes in walls, mail room ceiling collapsed recently from outdated and uncared for plumbing, security is lacking, communication is awful, for example I called multiple times a few weeks ago and it always went straight to voicemail, no one ever called me back. Same with emails. My maintenance requests take weeks or more to complete. And they try to raise my rent by $200 every year which is insane for how low quality this place is. The events are nice and do help us forget how horrible it is to live here but it's not enough to make it worth the high cost. I'm planning on moving out asap.

Floor was plan incorrect on the website so I was made to believe my unit had a patio and it doesn’t, slow responses from staff and nobody would give me the manager info when requested multiple times, poor office management.

Just moved in today and I am so excited! My ceilings are unbelievably high, and the unit fits my style so well! This is my first home without roommates, and I feel so lucky that it's so beautiful inside!
