Urban Flats

The pictures of the apartment complex are a lot nicer than the actual place. It is really run down and needs updating. You will not get in the garage for parking - they haven’t given out door fobs for months and just keeping telling everyone they are working on it. Parking on the streets is dangerous here.

I currently live here. The apartment itself is nice they do renovate before you move in, the issue is not the unit itself but the community, location, and management. It is technically “gated” however people prop open the back doors and homeless people can easily enter and the neighbors for the most part are horrible. I had a prostitute neighbor who broke both of her windows that did not get cleaned or fixed until two months after she was evicted. No one in the community cleans up after themselves and no matter how many letters they send out saying that people caught not cleaning up after themselves will be fined they never follow through. You pay 50$ per parking spot except the parking garage door gets broken almost every month because people don’t pay for parking and force the door open. They make threats about towing those who don’t pay to park and they never do. I’ve seen a woman throw her boyfriends things off the second balcony into the courtyard and not get picked up for days. The emergency maintenance number never picks up and never calls you back. The housing office rarely answers the phone and won’t call back no matter how many messages you leave. They’ve messed up my rent several months in a row and try to find me for not paying on time even though they won’t answer phone calls. They randomly send out letters about bug bombing apartments like every two months and have also done apartment audits where they come walk around your home randomly. I’ve had to call the police numerous times over homeless people screaming in the back alley, gun shots, or over domestic violence. I feel sorry for the families that live here with young children. There’s usually empty to half full modelo or corona bottles all over the parking garage. We used to have a trash can in the garage and housing stopped taking it out so it completely overflowed everywhere, so instead of cleaning it up they threw away the whole trash can. They rarely if ever clean hallway or community areas. I do not recommend living here unless you absolutely have to.

This place is absolutely horrible it’s infested with cockroaches and mice !!! there’s homeless people that are always in an out of the apartment complex the landlord (no name ) is an absolute rude unapproachable nasty landlord you would ever experience please do not move here it’s disgusting! I HAVE PICTURES IF NEED BE !!! I give this place a 0 !!

I’m currently living here thank god we’re leaving!! Anyone can get in i was followed once by a man and then I had another incident where there was a lady who wanted to steal the packages we tried calling the emergency phone number and the office and the managers were supposed to be on the property and they weren’t there they left early which was already weird in itself because when another tenant called the main office they told her that we were wrong and there were two mangers on site but that was a lie and we ended up having to call the police instead the manager we have right now is so rude and disrespectful it a bit expensive because we pay for “security” but in reality your just paying for the gate !!

Uban Flats is a great value. they have many things avalible at a great rate.

Amber is extremely helpful and has made the leasing process seamless. Excited to move in.

Had an excellent experience during my walk though. Newly renovated units look very nice. Amber, the Property Manager, has been very helpful and friendly throughout. Great location.

I am getting ready to be a tenant at this location and I can't say enough about how easy it was to enroll! Most apartment locations will present to you one of their "show" apartments but they actually showed me the exact apartment I would move into! This means they really stand by their work and I can't wait to stay there! So far this has been one of the best experiences in renting I've had!

I really, really love the community. I was looking for a place that was located downtown and that I could feel safe and I believe I've found that place!

I am relocating to Louisville, KY for a job I accepted. It is really intimidating having to find a new place to live in a city you are not familiar with. I searched online and found 10 places I wanted to tour and all 10 apartments were nice and had what I needed but Amber at Urban Flats was very helpful and made sure to explain everything to me. This is also the first time I had to have renters insurance and Amber walked me through the steps and helped me set up my insurance. I am really excited to move into my new place next week!
