As you arrive, you’ll be greeted by a lovely front porch with outdoor seating—ideal for sipping your morning coffee or enjoying an evening under the stars. Access the cabin easily with a convenient electronic lock, making check-in a breeze. The first bedroom features an en suite bathroom that connects to a laundry room equipped with a stackable washer and dryer for your convenience. This bathroom features a vanity toilet and standing shower. The second bedroom is a cozy retreat, offering ample closet space and a tranquil atmosphere for restful nights. The main living area is an open concept design, seamlessly connecting the spacious kitchen and living room. The kitchen is a culinary delight, featuring plenty of cabinet space, a microwave, electric stove and oven, large refrigerator, and all the essential kitchenware you need. Gather around the dining table or enjoy casual meals at the kitchen counter. The living room invites relaxation with two large sofas, providing additional sleeping space for extra guests. Enjoy your favorite shows on the smart TV, perfect for streaming after a day of exploring. Step into the beautiful sunroom, furnished with a daybed that accommodates two with a pop-up trundle, as well as a cozy sofa, perfect for reading, unwinding, or simply soaking in the sights and sounds of nature. Watch as cute woodland creatures frolic just outside your window. Mama Bear has its own driveway that comfortably fits two vehicles. Please reach out if you require additional parking. We do allow approved dogs with the collection of a pet fee. Please inquire for pet fees. Failure to have pets approved can lead to larger fees and possible eviction. Looking for an event space? Inquire about our beautiful barn. Stop by the Cottages at Bear Hollow in Monteagle, TN for a perfect getaway! With serene surroundings, you can unplug and unwind in nature. Next to Bear Hollow grounds sits the South Cumberland State Park Visitor Center and the Meadow Lake Trail district. Several hiking trails are just 10-15 minutes away, and it's a 15-minute drive to Sewanee: The University of the South and the concert venue, The Caverns. The cabin is located on a space with other homes, cabins, and an event center, so be mindful of your neighbors. There is no front desk onsite. Our local team is available 9 am to 5 pm and by phone for any emergency 24/7. We offer a completely contactless check-in and checkout process for our guests. Check-in is at 4 pm and check-out is at 10 am. If you're looking to check in early or check out late, we suggest booking the night before or after your arrival. Otherwise, to be considerate to other guests, we cannot guarantee that an early check-in or late check-out request will be accommodated. The cabin shares a fence with a state park, so remember there could be critters in the area as it is located beside their home. We are currently in the process of redesigning and refreshing the different units and grounds, so you may notice vendors and delivery vehicles during the day.
