The Winnie Cottage offers a cozy and well-equipped space, perfect for a peaceful getaway or a base for outdoor adventures. The kitchen is equipped with basic supplies, including a full-size refrigerator, electric stove, microwave, and ample storage space. The bathroom, though on the smaller side, includes a vanity space, toilet, standing shower, and several cupboards for storage. Complimentary Wi-Fi is available at 25mbps, and towels and linens are provided, including bedding for the daybed. Guests are welcome to walk and enjoy the beautiful and peaceful grounds on the Bear Hollow property. We allow approved dogs with a pet fee, and failure to have pets approved can lead to larger fees and possible eviction. Nearby attractions include Mountain Goat Market, Pearl’s Fine Dining, and High Point, as well as shopping at Mooney’s Market Emporium, Mountain Outfitters, and Hallelujah Pottery. The cottage is located on a property with other homes, cabins, and an event center, so please be mindful of your neighbors. Check-in is at 4 pm and check-out is at 10 am. If you're looking to check in early or check out late, consider booking the night before or after your arrival. The cottage shares a driveway with a neighboring home, so please park in the space closest to the cottage. Be aware that the property is undergoing redesigning and refreshing, so you may notice vendors and delivery vehicles during the day. Additionally, Bear Hollow shares a fence with a state park, so there could be critters in the area. The cottage offers complimentary Wi-Fi at 25mbps, making it suitable for remote work if needed.
