I’ve had multiple issues. The latest is bugs in my unit that the office just ignores. Moving next month and excited.
Applying and moving in was pretty smooth thanks to management. They are very professional and responsive. The renovations are beautiful to say the least. Neighbors are respectful of each other. Maintenance is quick with fixing any issues. No complaints!
Multiple days a week they unleash an army of people with leaf blowers on the property. It takes hours and hours to complete the most basic lawn maintenance. If you have a child who naps, this is the last place you’ll want to raise them. The noise level is high and consistent every day of the week.
This complex is awful. Management does not care about you. Lived here two years, and it's been nothing but problems. Get pest treatment monthly or you'll live with roaches. The walls and floors are bare thin; you can hear everything above, outside, inside...you hear it ALL. They've turned over management companies 3 times in two years. It's not worth what they are charging for rent. The other residents are definitely not the best of the best. Police here regularly. Then last week, the national problem with people not getting their paychecks deposited, nationwide due to the Federal Reserve and the ACH Clearinghouse error, we did not have enough money to pay rent. I submitted the news articles, employer emails about it but they still charged a $165 late fee. I have not been able to afford groceries for the family or we would have been evicted. This place is a joke.
Toured with Jazmyne in the front office and she was very attentive to my immediate move in! The property is under a few renovations, but it looks great and the team keeps it clean. Telling my friends about this place!

TOUR BEFORE YOU SIGN LEASE. we came on 3/26 to tour the 1 bedroom and 2 bedroom apt. It smelled of smoke, with yellow walls and fixtures to match. Rust everywhere and very dirty. Pictures are not as seems. No effort was put in and I am forced to believe that’s what it would be if I moved in. Tour before you sign , especially out of state people. Pictures are not accurate , didn’t even tour the apt to match picture.

Worst Apartment experience that I ever had, while I was here, my car's catalytic converter was stolen 3 times. When I asked to talk to manager, she ditched me, after asking for couple of times, she finally answered my call, and I expressed my concern that the gate is broken and everyone can walk into the gate and do whatever they want to our cars, she had the audacity to tell me its probably an inside job but when I told her to tell this to police, she refused. After the last time that my catalytic convertor got stolen, she did not respond to me at all. The gate has been broken for the past 3+ month and it was broken for almost 5 out of past 8 month that I have been here. I saw a naked man once running on the property. Run for your life. They dont respect you

I have been here for 3 years and will be giving my 60 day notice. I went from a lease to month to month and now I have almost 1000 worth of late fees and other bullcrap. If you want hidden fees for rent or get penalized for paying your rent early then this is the place. The only good thing about here is the people who live here and maintenance.

If you want to live on a construction site, this is absolutely the apartment complex for you. Several huge work trucks plow through the parking lot throughout the day. The garbage is piled halfway to heaven. Workers are shouting, laughing, whistling right outside your windows 9-5. It’s like living on a development. I wouldn’t recommend this apartment complex to a cadaver, let alone a living person.

This management team has made living here an undesirable experience.
Maintenance crew does an ok job. I've live here about 5 years, and I'm not sure why this time my maintenance order was not completely done. No explanation has been given yet.
Overall I feel safe but this place is no different from cheaper locations. Not a horrible place but will be moving when my lease is up. I work for my money and I dont feel like I should settle for sub par service.

It is the nicest and most quiet apartment complex Ive lived in/ visited. Our apartment is very spacious, the people are quiet and very nice, management is great and maintenance is very prompt.
When things happen that are out of our control.. one thing I can say about the management and staff is that they do their best to try to make things better and make you happy. I really appreciate them very much.

Elmsgate, formally Arium Cliffside is a decent place of residency. December will make 3 years for me that I have been here. My overall experience has been really great. With the exception of some legal issues that put a damper on my thoughts. However, the issue was eventually solved to my satisfaction. The only reason that takes away from my recommendation for living at Elmsgate is the price. And the fact that my rent continues to rise even though I live in a basic unit. I feel if my price is going to upgrade so should my apartment.
Elmsgate is a great place to live. Friendly neighbors and great staff. Things continue to improve. Great team at Elmsgate.
I recently moved to Elmsgate at Cliffside, so far my experience has been a pleasant one. My apartment is nice and spacious and the enviroment seems to be peaceful and quiet.
Don’t move here! The quality of the property and the people living here has gone down tremendously and the management just wants to fill apartments! Customer service sucks!!

I had a really bad experience with the lease office all along my stay. They just don't care about their residents and their customer service. Really good at claiming money, pretty bad at being fair with them. Make sure you keep the proof of all your payments, they tried one time to make me pay twice for the same thing. I had a couple of other issues with them, they are pretty good at saying "sorry", but this answer doesn't solve anything. Invoicing is the only thing they know. I DO NOT recommend this residence at all.
Reason I would recommend is the location-it's close to where I work Reasons I would not recommend: The amount of space for what you're paying doesn't seem quite large enough esp the bdrm. Also the collapsed carport at the apt I viewed is cause for concern.
I would recommend! Please remove the horrible rock landscaping though. I miss living there, I made a lot of friends that I call family now. We moved because we needed a house and yard.
Sometimes I feel like safety is not a priority. Our gate is often broken and there are a lot of police around on occasion.
As long as you do not need anything, you're fine. The apartment is beautiful and comfortable. But office staff is not helpful.
I have recommended two people who have moved in to The Cliffs in the past two years. There really should be a referral credit, like most other apartment complexes.
They never answer the phone, EVER!! They answer after about the 23rd attempt. Also, two days before I had to move in, they don't have that apartment ready for me and the only way I found out was because of my internet provider trying to verify my move in date! They never bothered to let me know my apartment wasn't ready. Lauren, is a snob and couldn't even look at me when all this happened, never once apologized. The manager couldn't even come out and apologize. This place doesn't even deserve one star!!
I have recommended this apartment community to two co-workers but the cost was to high for one and the other one found another apartment that was larger and less costly. The grounds are kept up and tennants are pretty quite.
First month was great, staff is nonchalant BUT THERE WERE BUGS EVERYWHERE AFTER JUST 3 MONTHS OF SETTLING IN. Not one of the staff members checked in to see if the roaches, huge ant creatures and weird looking insects had stopped at any point. I had to unpack every cabinet, every Friday so that the "pest control company" could treat my apartment. The surroundings are great but i haven't been able to get a good night's sleep because of this. Haven't been able to just throw on a top without wondering if there is a bug running up my sleeve... I wasn't one of those rude, impatient and inconsiderate tenants either, but i guess that doesn't matter because i was never even offered a cookie!
The staff are very helpful and seem as if they enjoy giving you service. Maintenance is always prompt. Overall a great place to live. If I didn't live so far from work, I would continue to live in these apartments. Only downside is carrying groceries up 4 flights of stairs, they have no elevators!
I have been here for almost 4 months and have to say, i am enjoying it so far. I have not had any real issues that couldn't be solved myself. When i first arrived, my mother and I noticed little spiders. I immediately put in a work order request via online and if not that afternoon by the next day, maintenance did come through. I haven't seen any since. Good job. All in all, the building is nice, the area is convenient and again I am enjoying the stay. Thanks, Nichole

The apartment is ok, definitely not worth the rent they charge though. The office staff is ok, not the friendliest bunch, except Monica (?) she's great. Maintenance is quick and helpful. Slight bug problem. Old gross cabinets, should be painted. Ive been there about 3 months and the paint/plaster is falling off the walls in the bedroom.
I live in the smaller one bedroom unit. Its upgraded so it has granite countertops in the kitchen and bath and stainless steel and black appliances. The complex is in the perfect location, close enough to ALL the main attractions where the commute is short but far away enough so that the complex is quiet and serene. The neighbors mind their business and the office staff are nice and efficient. Maintenance request are handled in a satisfiable amount of time. Not a lot of kiddies here so its an extra cool complex for singles and couples. Parking is great and the fitness room is decent. They even have a dog park onsite for u oet lovers!! Overall its a cool place 2 dwell!!??
Its a good place to live but they up your rent when you renew your lease. I figured they would want people to stay with them, and also the parking really stinks they have more covered parking then anything so if you have multiple cars its hard to find anywhere to park.
