I am very pleased with my experience at Valley View. It is well-managed and well-maintained.

This has been one of the more enjoyable experiences I’ve had at an apartment complex. The screened in porch is a great feature, and management is always quick to respond to any issues that may come up.

We are extremely pleased to have moved into Valley View. The property is well maintained and the staff are professional and provide service that is hard to find elsewhere. The property is peaceful and there is a real community with the residents.

I love the maintenance here, they fixed issues for me that I did not even put in a request for. They are always super fast as well.

The grounds are well maintained. Pete respond to apt. issues immediately and professionally. If I wasn't moving this year, I would live out my days here.

My daughter and I have really loved living here. The apartment is very spacious, the three season screened in porch is almost unheard of anywhere else, and the management has been wonderful and attentive. While the rent may be a bit higher than at some other places, you definitely get what you pay for especially since underground heated parking is included, and there is also a pool. The neighborhood feels very safe, and the shops in Golden Valley are only a quick 15 minute walk from the complex. I would highly recommend living here.

Great staff, well maintained property, tree lined streets, Different type of apartment property layout. The five different buildings with 8 apartments each. All are connected underground with laundry rooms, parking, and storage compartments.for each apartment.

Overall, this is a wonderful apartment to live in. There are lots of windows that bring in lots of natural lighting. The walls are thick enough where I cannot hear my neighbors that I share a wall with. The environment is quiet and peaceful and I feel very safe living here. The management staff is wonderful and I truly feel cared about as a resident thus far.

I love the community. Very nice neighbors, quiet and courteous. The management is very attentive. The walkways are always clean. And the hallways always smell nice and look very clean. I enjoy the 3 seasoned porch the most that over looks the courtyard. Very peaceful.

Love living at Valley View Apartments! So nice and quiet, walking distance to a park with tennis courts, close to tons of places to eat, and close to walking trails.

Clean and quiet

Really happy with my move to Valley View. The staff is great and the community is peaceful. My unit is big with lots of natural light. I'm excited to be living in a great location that is close to everything but also private and secluded.

The grounds are lovely, well kept, and quaint. I love the small community feel and how peaceful the atmosphere is.

Management is super welcoming and kind, maintenance is consistent and quick!

Wonderful windows, lighting and quiet atmosphere along with screened in porch and great swimming pool. Management is responsive and caring.

My overall experience here at the Valley View Apartment community have been acceptable thus far. I love the community management and how expeditious they are when it comes to responding to any issues I may have. The groundskeeping is kept very nice and clean, and the inside of each building is kept the same way. The units are more spacious than any other apartment communities Ive seen in the Golden Valley area, which is a huge advantage. The only suggestion I have is for the community to add security cameras in the parking garage for a sense of better safety when we are sleep or away from our residence for a long period of time.

The Valley View apartments are some of the best in the Minneapolis area. A hidden gem really. Quite, friendly staff and residents, and peaceful. I'm so happy to live at Valley View in Golden Valley!

Yes, The kitchen is small and the water temperature takes forever to hit the shower when your in a hurry (I live on the 3rd floor), However, Living here has been a dream! If you like a quiet peaceful setting then this place is for you! You can hear a bird from a mile away and see many birds than you would ever see in the city. They have underground parking and they allow pets (dogs and cats). Only a few units and close to everything.

Dont live here because managmemt sucks. If I would of listened to the reviews I read I could have saved myself the misery of living here.

Our only wish is that we could live here forever.

Valley View is a great place to live. The office, management, and maintenance staff are excellent--they handle things very quickly and repairs (that are smaller) have been completed in 24 hours when they have come up for me. I just had a fairly extensive repair done and the work was done on time and was very good. The buildings and grounds are all very well kept and it's a great location.

I love the property manager Sharon and Pete who does maintenance around they complex. They definitely make it great living here at Valley View. Its hard to find leasing office management who cares about their residents. The neighbors are great and quiet. Never have to worry about loud noises in the middle of the night.

Great place to live with great value! Management is very responsive! Location is perfect for those looking to be close to activities but tucked out of sight in a quiet neighborhood. I've been very satisfied with my experience over my last 6 months living here.

Valley View is a great place to call home. The Management and maintenance are both excellent. Its in a great location; I feel safe, and there is a strong sense of community here.

We have never enjoyed living anywhere as much as we do here. We feel like were home with great neighbors, parks and close to everything we need.

I lived at VV for a year and enjoyed living there for the most part. Sharon, the property manager, is responsive to emails and is very friendly. Maintenance requests are taken care of within 24 hours, if not the same day. The pool is typically clean and the neighbors are relatively (emphasis on relatively) quiet. The reason I gave 4 stars is because there are a few things you don't really notice until you move in. For example, the sinks in your apartments are very low; in other words, if you're over 5' 10", I wouldn't recommend living here because you'll constantly be breaking your back while doing something as simple as brushing your teeth. Also, while showering, water temperature is never consistent. One minute is hot, the next it's freezing cold. The apartments are very out-dated which is weird because they are priced at market rate. There aren't many amenities in the area and each unit (even the "renovated ones") is out-dated so I found myself questioning why I was paying so much. Underground garage clearance is very low - it might not even be 7 feet. No microwave comes with the units and the dishwasher is pathetically small. The apartment isn't smoke free and there is no controlled entry so anyone can enter the apartment building. Besides these things, I loved living at Valley View. Quick maintenance, well-kept lawns, clean hallways (minus the smoke scent), never had any noise issues, its a very safe area and Sharon helps as much as she can.

Valley View provides a family community. It’s set in a quiet, quaint section of Minneapolis. You have no idea you are just 10 minutes from downtown. Great location plus great people makes a great living community!

Ever since I moved into Valleyview in the beginning of 2014, Valleyview apartments have always taken care of me. Every time there is something that I need done, they address the issue usually within 24-36 hrs! There was a non-fatal fire in my apartment building in early 2015, they did an awesome job with American Red Cross by making sure everyone had places to live until my building was safe and ready to move back in. I have no plans of leaving Valleyview! I cannot say that I can completely agree with all of the new managements decisions, but the same employees that work there are the same ones that I knew from the beginning which gives me a good enough reason to stay and which is why this place is the right home for me. Thank you Sharon, Pete & Chris!!! Valleyview rocks!!!

This apartment complex has great amenities like pool, tennis court, barbeque pits, a water fountain, and heated underground parking. But if you hate driving in the snow, this is a great place to live. Valley View is located on Golden Valley Rd. which the city keeps plowed during snowy weather. It's connected to main roads and highways which are also always plowed first in snowy weather. Whenever it snows, I drive out of my heated underground parking and onto a freshly plowed parking lot. I make my way onto the always plowed Golden Valley Rd. which connects me to the always plowed main roads that I take to work.

I have lived at Valley View for a little over a year now. It's a small community.I have never had a problem with neighbors. Kudos to Sharon and Pete. They are always very helpful and they respond to maintenance requests quickly. I really do enjoy living here.

I've lived here for 3 years. The buildings are a bit older but maintained well. It feels more like a community than just apartments. Everyone knows each other and talks when they see one another walking the dogs. The pool is always warm and clean and they try to keep it open as long as possible. The grounds are well kept and it gives you a woodsy feeling because of all the trees surrounding it. The new owners are beginning to update the apartments as residents move out. As long as Sharon stays in the office it will remain a great place to live.

This is a great location to be in. Quiet, and very close to the parks, bike path that leads all the way to the downtown Minneapolis. Also has a pool which is nice to have in warm days. Parking off street and garage. Floor plans are big.

I've lived in a lot of places, now I own a house. By far valley view was my best experience ever. The property is quiet, beautiful and amazing taken care of. Much of this has to do with Sharon and her team. You will see from the second you meet them that they really actually care and go way above and beyond what you've ever seen before. Take it from me, this is absolutely somewhere you want to live.

I really enjoy living here. It is also a great location. Really close to highways to get to Minneapolis. But also is off a quiet street. The apartment complex is also in a beautiful courtyard to make it feel away from the city. The area is very well kept and the pool is also very clean. I am in a one bedroom apartment and it feels very spacious and there is a lot of storage space also. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. It is harder to get reception here sometimes. I am in a basement apartment which probably makes it harder. Some cellphone carriers have a weaker signal than others. There is an underground parking garage which is very convenient. But the parking lot gets full quickly at night.
