Property Ratings at Valley View Townes Townhomes
So I was sold moving here based on the walking trail , the smart home features and the small community feel. Overall, it's a really nice clean community. Things that could be improved: My dishwasher has been out for at least six months and there's no sense of urgency from management to fix it. There are several other homes with broken dishwashers too. There's no updates about the issue either. I also moved here to have a working dishwasher to free up some of my time from housework. The streetlights to enter the community are out and has been for at least six months as well..I called to get a work order put in from Duke Energy and was told it's not a maintenance issues it's a payment issue.
After almost two years of living here, the poor construction and planning for this development becomes more and more apparent every day. It took 6 months of complaining about my dishwasher not working until it was finally replaced. The cost of living here mixed with all the issues has been frustrating. I can't wait until my lease is up and I'm out of here

Awesome place to live, so close to downtown fountain inn!
It's unfortunate when construction and maintenance do not meet expectations, leading to dissatisfaction. It's important for residents to feel that they are getting value for their investment. I will be exploring other housing options and taking step towards finding a place that aligns with one's standards for quality and maintenance.

This has been the most frustrating experience I've had in a long time. My lease started on May 3. Most of my experience so far has been very negative, and I would not recommend Valley View Townes to anyone. I do not see myself renewing my lease once the year is up.

My family moved to Valley View Townes at the end of Jan 2023. The first few weeks were amazing the townhomes are lovely, great kid-friendly neighborhood. Unfortunately, after about two-three weeks we have had constant disturbances from the neighbor. Domestic issues have required local law enforcement to come out multiple times. My husband and I both went to the office managers after the first incident to report the issue. As the mother of two daughters, I will not tolerate my children being exposed to constant Dometic Violence. I do not feel safe in my home. Over the past few months, we have made multiple reports to management and requested at the least to be moved to a different unit. We are told by management that they are addressing the situation with upper management and that we just need to email them every time there is a disturbance. Nothing has been done to try and resolve the issue or even address the issue with the neighbors. I think with issues such as this there should be more done and a little faster pace. It is unfair to my family to have to be exposed and worry about what the next incident may escalate to.
