things have started to get better since the beginning of move in. there’s still some downsides, like the guest parking that needs to be paid for for a parking lot that is never really closed. hiking up the pricing for this parking for next year isn’t justifiable either. the maintenance for the place is good though. things get fixed quickly. events are hosted for vanguard residents and they’re usually pretty chill

ive been enjoying my time living here. And i really appreciate the accommodations such as gym memberships to us since the gym isnt being built yet. Everyone is beyond friendly.

Living at the Vanguard during my first semester has been an incredible experience. From day one, the community and environment have made me feel welcomed and supported, making the transition to college life seamless and enjoyable. The facilities at Vanguard are top-notch, with spacious rooms, modern amenities, and study areas that are perfect for focusing on my academics. The building is well-maintained, and there’s a real sense of comfort and security here, which has made it easy to relax after a busy day of classes. One of the highlights of living here has been the sense of community. I've had the chance to meet people from all walks of life, and everyone is friendly and eager to connect. The common areas and social events organized by the building staff have been great for meeting new friends and building a network of people to support me through the semester.

The staff is so lovely and so helpful! I couldn’t be more impressed. From the moment I moved in, the experience has been exceptional. The apartment itself is spacious, modern, and well-maintained, with high-quality finishes and plenty of natural light. The kitchen is fully equipped with updated appliances, and the bathroom feels like a spa with its sleek design and ample storage. I truly enjoy the peaceful atmosphere and the sense of community here. It’s a perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and luxury. I highly recommend The Vanguard to anyone looking for a place to call home.

Honestly, my room is gorgeous and so is the apartment, but I really haven’t been satisfied. It’s been problem after problem and we still have zero amenities or an elevator over two months in. Not to mention the parking situation for visitors is really not great. I know this place is new which I understand, but I don’t think it’s fair to charge a price when we’re not getting what was advertised almost halfway into the academic year.

Amazing place to live, currently still under construction but the amenities offered are great, private parking, only thing is it’s down hill and there’s no way around it. Community is amazing and all of the workers are super nice

a lot of the actual building part was rushed and you can definitely tell. in addition, we don’t have the amenities that we were supposed to have since they aren’t even complete yet (e.g. clubhouse, guest parking). Specifically, we don’t have guest parking. What are we supposed to do for guests?

We have no amenities our neighbors above us are ridiculously loud. The staff is nice and I understand there trying to be fair and make it fun but it’ll be the same comments and reviews until it gets fixed. I also was placed in the wrong room for almost 2 months because no one would listen to my grandma when she called about the matter

Very accommodating for moving in process. Can sometimes hear the neighbors moving around other than that no issues. The highway is sometimes a little loud and it is far from campus, but I think the pros outweigh the cons. I think it’s very affordable and clean.

I really love the vanguard so far. The building is very clean and quiet and my apartment is amazing. My apartment is everything I imagined it to be and more.

Very clean, and peaceful, and everybody is very friendly. The leasing office staff is very thoughtful, thorough, and very friendly with everything.

The Vanguard is very nice! Maintenance is fast and the staff is very informed! The only thing that I would critique is that the elevators still don’t work neither does the gate to parking!

It is quite disappointing that amenities are unavailable to residents, and was not disclosed to tenants until near move in day. The elevators being unaccessible and non-working and living on the top floor (also paying an additional $10 a month for "top floor premium"), whilst having medical issues that make it very difficult to climb up flights of stairs everyday is very inconvenient and straining. Management has not mentioned any type of stipend for lack of amenities being available and lack completely in communication. Very disappointed.

The Vanguard is a nice place you stay for students. I do feel that they can be more organized when it comes to answering questions. Sometimes the leasing office doesn’t give the correct information

The apartment complex has been very underwhelming and not complete by any means. I pay for amenities that are not here and a bunch of unfinished work that makes the apartment look bad. Lack of communication through the entire place!

They have honestly been very untruthful about a lot of things. Barely any movers provided on move in day after being promised help because we were accommodated since our room wasn’t ready on time. We are now 2 months into school and still no working elevator in our building either.

I love the building and my room very modern and clean and updated. I like how there are three buildings like a community, just waiting on the club house !

I am EXTREMELY disappointed with the Vanguard. I am disappointed with the lack of communication, as well as the rudeness that I experience from the staff. MOST of them; with the exception of two guys (i don’t know their names) always seem to be irritated and are overall rude. Other problems: We’ve been here for a month and there has been update on the clubhouse and I don’t even believe it’s even been started, and the elevators STILL don’t work.

I love living here it’s nice and the actual apartment is really nice too. I just wish we had our amenities. Another thing is that our elevators don’t work yet and that would be nice if they did.

It has been very inconvenient not having the amenities we were promised when we signed for example when we want to have guests over we have to pick them up or tell them to park far away and walk which is not plausible when it involves parents visiting or trying to move more stuff in. The staff is really nice but the lack of amenities is the draw back. I’m sure when the club house is built this place will be worth the price but currently it feels way too expensive for what we are provided.

My experience with the Vanguard hasn’t been great but I believe they are working to fix the problems that have been happening. We had a leak in one of our pipes that was flooding our kitchen and it took over two weeks to get fixed. When we brought up the issues we were having the Vanguard took accountability and agreed their communication needs to be better!

Smooth move in with minor maintenance issues that were addressed! Love the kitchen and the walk in closets. The parking lot is good. Would refer to a friend!

No amenities. They messed up my rent. Each bedroom is a different price depending on how big it is. I switched and they said they’d update my lease but it never happened. So now I’m paying more than I should. These people have no clue what they’re doing. Do not live here.

i love my studio. its perfect space. I am excited for the amenities to be done as well which is the main reason i signed my lease for the vanguard.

The amount of times we have had to call maintenance since moving in is ridiculous. The elevator still doesn’t work. And the lack of empathy about the clubhouse not being done is disheartening!

elevators are broken so it makes moving things in really difficult, especially when living on an upper level. and the building is really finished so thats kind of annoying

The actual apartment complex is nice in itself, but falls short of having amenities ready by the move-in date. For a better experience, reducing rent would’ve helped offset the lack of amenities residents were promised at the start of the semester

No amenities as promised. You basically have to be away from your apartment all day in order to be able to enjoy the things that were promised in the lease you signed, Also, they are now offering way lower to new applicants.

Unorganized and has breached contract would not recommend to stay here. people in charge have no idea what is going on. Room was poorly put together and has multiple issues

The Vanguard so far has been a great experience. Very easy to get onboarded to the leasing process and staff helps the entire way. The apartment units themselves are spacious and accommodate well for the price. The only issue is the inconsistent shuttle due the distance away from campus.

Move in process went fine! The building itself is so nice and the maintenance team has been perfect. The only downside of it is the amenities not being done.

I believe my experience has been good but the only flaw is the elevator not working. Also not having the promised amenities available. Other than those things it’s been a good experience.
