Before I toured Vanguard Crossing I had already toured multiple other apartments and had my mind set on another location, but Vanguard won me over. The apartment is built very well and has a nice open layout. I had a pretty quick move in turnaround from when I signed my lease and Stephanie was extremely easy to work with. The leasing team works on site so they are often there when questions pop up, and they also reply to emails pretty quickly. The location is also very appealing. Give them a tour!

Vanguard Crossing has been a friendly place of community for Me for the last 3 years and it will be a home for me for as long as the staff and community residents give me a sense of security and community. For those considering this location, I urge you to read through previous tenant reviews—especially the negative ones, as well as reviews from other platforms. This will give you a clearer picture of how the quality of living has declined under the current property management. Be well-informed before making your decision. I’ve been living in this apartment complex managed by Banner Property Management, and I feel compelled to share my experience regarding the noise issue caused by the 24/7 operation of the on-site trash disposal station. Every 30 to 35 minutes, there is a noise interruption that lasts about 15 minutes, with sound levels reaching up to 74 dB as measured by a decibel meter. Even with all windows closed, the noise level still hovers around 58 dB, comparable to sleeping next to an excessively loud refrigerator. This constant humming has significantly affected living conditions, making it difficult to enjoy peace at any time of the day or night. Despite numerous complaints, the management team has shown little concern for tenant comfort or well-being.

Property manager and staff make no attempt to be nice or helpful. The building, apartments, amenities are falling apart. Way too much money for what they claim to offer. Do not waste your time.
Nothing is safe about living here. My car was broken into as well as multiple cars through the last few weeks. My wife’s car was STOLEN out of the parking garage. There’s simply no security or safety measures taken to help out the residents feel more safe. Another resident just had her whole back windshield broken into last night as I was driving out of the garage. My wife and I are moving, if you care about your safety I would simply not move in here. I hate writing a review like this but I’m just looking out for potential future residents.

Vanguard Crossing is a wonderful place to call home, either long term or short term! The apartments are laid out in the popular open style with nice sized kitchens, which open to the family room and dining area. Bedrooms are very spacious as are the bathrooms and all include a larger sized laundry room as well! The staff is friendly, personable and professional and will help in any way they can to accommodate your requests. They also keep a tight watch on making sure the community rules are followed, which makes for an easy living experience without issues.This complex allows pets so your furry friends can feel right at home as well. And who knows they might even make some friends when you take them for walks or bring them to the fenced in pet run! A SUPER bonus is the huge pool and grill area. You can truly enjoy the hot St Louis summer days in the crystal clear pools (kiddie pools included!) and cook a mean steak on the professional gas grills. The whole pool area is a great comfortable space to meet with family or friends for a swim day cookout too! The location is awesome as you have grocery options and more shopping very near by and there are many dining options in Clayton you can actually walk to if you desire. All in all you will truly enjoy the wonderful amenities and options the Vanguard Crossing Apartment Homes have to offer. Its great to be here!

Couldn't be more happy with my new place! I've been here 2 months and am really enjoying it. As a guy going through a divorce, I have my kids part time so having enough space and comfort was important to me. The 3 bedroom apartment feels more like an upscale condo than traditional apartment living. The amenities are fantastic. My kids and I love the pool, I enjoy the free Starbucks coffee in the lobby everyday, as well as the 24/7 gym (with free weights, machine weights, and cardio equipment), and the game room if super fun too. The covered parking in the garage is very affordable and a nice alternative to outdoor parking at most other apartments. The property feels safe and secure with key fob entrances. The staff is top notch and they take great care of the residents. Would give it 10 stars if I could! Oh, and there is a TV inside my bathroom mirror - how cool is that?!

Hate to even give this place one star but will because maintenance was wonderful. Left apartment in July 2017. Notice given appropriately. After numerous calls to University CIty office, emails to management and to the home office in Tennessee, I have yet to receive my $600. deposit despite leaving the apartment in immaculate condition. Now hiring an attorney.

Their aren't a lot of great rental apartments in St. Louis. This is a great building with a lot of amenities (pool, car spa, gym, pet spa). Easy online payments are great too.
