Property Ratings at Vantage St. Pete
Vantage used to be the premier place to live in EDGE district compared to the other buildings but has consistently gone down hill month after month the last few years. From a community standpoint, there used to be events to get people together every few months which have been non-existent for quite some time. If you ever need anything from management, unlike most buildings that have an office staff that’s happy to help, you will find yourself greeted with closed office doors and spend most of your days waiting around for someone to show up, or take on the full time job sending emails and making phone calls trying to get any type of answer or follow up. The only perk remaining is the rooftop pool which hasn’t been really maintained much. The chairs break and aren’t replaced so outside of some couches and tables, there are only a couple pool chairs for a building of 80+ apartments. Overall the general upkeep of the building is not where you would expect “luxury living”. Gates to the garage have been broken, elevators out of service, and water buckets in the hallways when it rains. The only good thing to say is the two guys who do maintenance are great. Complete opposite of the management staff as they are quick to respond to tickets and always are happy and friendly when they do any work.
This community has been awesome since I moved in. The rooftop pool is definitely the place to be. Being close to all of the restaurants and bars is also nice.
I moved into vantage on 2/26/22, so as of today I have lived here two months, and my experience has been less than pleasant. On move in day, I was immediately taken aback when I gained access to my unit and saw it was not move-in ready. The floors were disgusting and covered in drywall. There were styrofoam and nails on the floor which my dog got ahold of. As if that wasn’t bad enough, there were also bugs in the kitchen drawers! On top of this, I have been without a working washer and dryer set since move-in. I signed a lease that stated I had access to a working washer and dryer, which was not in fact the case. For two months now I have been given the run around as they have no set date or any anticipation of when replacement sets will be in. The only solution that was offered to me was a valet laundry service. However, this is not convenient for me as I work nights at about 60 hours a week and frankly don’t find it comfortable to have someone wash my personal undergarments. Additionally, they are asking you to put the money out to cover this service and to later on be reimbursed, which is also not ideal or convenient. I have since got in contact with Dustin, from corporate who offered me a gift card as a sort of compensation for the multitude of issues I have experienced. This was about 3 weeks ago, and I have not received a gift card or a response to any of my phone calls since. As of today, I am being told it will be at least august before I receive a replacement washer and dryer. I understand issues arise and things happen, however, it is up to a facility to uphold a certain standard and to rectify a situation appropriately and professionally, which I do not feel is the case here.
There has been only one elevator working for over 6 weeks. This is a 11 floor building with a dozen units per floor. There has been times where BOTH elevators are down. Imagine climbing 11 flights of stairs just to get home. The mail room is a mess. The packages are always scattered around openly. Don't expect to find your packages easily between the mail room and the mail locker room. Some packages are delivered directly to your door, but some are just left up for grabs. This is extremely disorganized for a luxury apartment complex. The locker service was never installed so residents can not get secure package delivery.

Ok. Really having problems @ Vantage. 1 elevator broken since Memorial dsy...that leaves ONLY 1 ELEVATOR!!!. Bike room broken into & bikes stolen ( No police report filed nor follow-up of stolen articles), new payment banking payment system with no advance notice and late feed ($60) charged, coffee machine perpetually broken, rooms with very poor sound-proofing, management does respond to my emails....for the very high rent I pay....J would expect better.
