Love love this property and how spacious the bathrooms are! Steps away from campus and a quick bus ride to and from class!! Friendly staff and wonderful events!

This place is a great place to live and make friends while you are in college. I am in my final year of college and will be entering the master level classes. The staff has been very helpful an even the people living here has been great neighbors.

Stay away from this place. They will show you a nice room before you move in. And they will make you believe that it is as the one you will have when moving in. But instead. You will have a dirty room, with broken furniture, furniture falling apart, wall with stains, broken AC, broken blinds, holes in the wall, etc, etc. And if you reported it. They will just give you a bunch of unacceptable excuses. As if the unacceptable conditions of ones room were normal, and one must wait as long as they want to take to solve the problem. It is unacceptable, and a lack of respect to any student who is paying you to stay there. I just hope this is read by an student or city authority who is willing to protect the student life, and environment. Please do not bother to send me a note saying you care or that one should have reached you. Just do your job and respect students

Whatever you do, don't live here. Residents leave trash all over the place (hallways, garage, stairwells) and it isn't picked up for weeks on end, there's a mold issue, dog poop is left in indoor hallways, "maintenance crew" refuses to fix issues and lets you live with them for the entire year, there's maybe 5 guest parking spots for the entire complex, you may have to walk for 4 minutes just to get from your assigned parking spot to your apartment, the walls are so thin that you hear absolutely everything going on above, below, and next to you, there's a huge flea and fruit fly problem, and you'll be charged hundreds of dollars for cheap furniture that fell apart from sun damage even when you didn't touch it for the entire year. The list of horrible things about this place truly never ends. This is the worst living experience I have had in Gainesville. There are FAR better places to live for the same or a lower price.

This apartment complex is filthy, the management is horrible and the rooms are infested with bugs. They have no regard for cleanliness or COVID protocols.

I really hate leaving bad reviews on anything but I’m using this as a last resort to see if maybe the management will see this and fix the issue that our unit has been having for the PAST SIX MONTHS!!!! Since February our apartments A/C has been broken, take note this is Florida and temperatures soar to above 90 on the daily, and they have done nothing to get our unit in working condition, other than small remedies that do absolutely NOTHING. Our electric bill is through the roof at almost 50 dollars a roommate, and that is after our 25 dollar cap per person. We are having to run our a/c unit between 66-68 to achieve a nice toasty 76 degrees (which is still HOT) in the middle of August. Don’t know if this will do anything for me and my roommates at this point - but maybe just maybe it will save someone else the trouble of signing here.

If you would like a roach and spider infested place where the management and staff are unresponsive and receive you 25 Mbps internet speed rather than the 100 Mbps that you're promised, then you will love Varsity House.
