Property Ratings at Vecina Apartment Villas
We have been living here for 8 months now and we love everything, the staff is polite and friendly and the layout of the apartments is perfect for us, we are glad we chose this residential complex.
Been at the Vecina apartments for 3 years and it has been a great experience. Just signed the lease for another year. Staff is great, property is kept clean, consistent communications coming from management. Apartment complex is centrally located for easy access to the freeway allowing you to quickly travel to just about any part of San Antonio. Close to shopping and restaurants, yet far enough where you don't get caught up in the traffic. Apartments backup to an open area which I believe cannot be developed and has trails for walking. Another positive for the location. Don't have young children but there is a grade school right next door and other schools are not far from the complex.
Vecina Apartments provides excellent service. Whenever I place a work order, it is handled promptly and efficiently. The staff is professional and ensures that any issues are resolved in a timely manner. Highly recommend!
After leaving as a resident and coming back as a guest nothing has improved overall at this location. Parking still the same, the worst. Speed bumps never solve the problems of speeders. Elevator doesn’t work when needed it the most, and doesn’t get fix as soon as possible for the ones that needed the most. No one answer the phone at the front desk or call back or emails. Office close when not being notified when it’s closing early. Cheap A/C filters they give us. Letters should be in mailbox not on the door for everyone business to be known is not okay for personal safety. Pest control could do a better job.
I am eager to enjoy the living spaces and amenities at Vecina Villas. I have a friend who stayed at a unit for 2 years and she loved it. We move in March. See you soon Vecina!

The view of the hill country and the location in stone oak is enough to make it worth it alone, also the apartments are new and the kitchens are huge. Definitely do not regret moving here

The community has potential, but it falls short in several areas. The constant noise from towing trucks late at night is disruptive, and the lack of communication about changes to amenities is frustrating. I chose to live here for the amenities, but some are only accessible during office hours, which is very inconvenient. Unfortunately, property management is practically nonexistent, which only adds to the disappointment.

Parking sucks, trash is not consistent, maintenance request don’t read comments, other residents don’t pick up their dog litter and dog park is not clean. However the location is nicer

I give the apartment complex 5 stars. It provides all the amenities we need and then some. It's clean, quiet and not overly crowded. It is easy to place maintenance requests via the portal. The maintenance team is outstanding. We've been here for a month and have no complaints with the living environment. The leasing process was frustrating if you don't have direct in-person access to the front office. Securing a lease online was a 4 star process through the application stage. The follow-up was far more difficult. It is nearly impossible to get someone on the phone and it was days before my emails were responded to. Initial deposit requires cash via a third party and that was also a negative as it was very nerve-wracking , inconvenient, and didn't feel at all legit or safe. I found it very strange that you could pay online for the application process, can pay online for every month after the first, but were required cash via a third party to pay the initial deposit.

This is a calm and fantastic place to live in the Stone Oak area. It is close to exemplary schools, stores, and everything else you may need. The 3-bedroom apartment is surprisingly spacious.

3/4 of the chairs & umbrellas for the pool are missing and management has no plan of ordering more. This place has gone so downhill. They will tow your car for fun & anyone you ask will tell you they have experienced at least 1 tow here. Look elsewhere! :)

Hi, we regret to hear that you had a negative experience with us, but would appreciate the chance to turn your experience around and straighten out a few misconceptions. We are very aware that the current furniture has taken a beating in the extreme Texas heat this summer. Custom pool furniture was ordered about 6 weeks ago and we do expect it to be in within the next few weeks. We would also like to point out we put our residents' peace of mind first and in order ensure that there is ample parking at their buildings for them, we provide a guest lot on a first come first serve basis and all passes, resident and guest are digital and self registered. We are not responsible for the towing of any vehicles as this strictly digital and completely reliant on the user's input and/or where they park. These apartments are gorgeous!!! Been here since last year and so happy I chose Vecina! The amenities are great and the staff is always so nice!

Terrible management (4th round in 2 years) and they just get worse each round. It’s sad because on the surface it does look nice. Parking is a nightmare for residents and guests have to pay. This is not downtown, but guests have to pay like it is.
