They charged me for pet damage carpet when I never had a pet . I also looked at all the reviews and I’m not the only one who experienced the same problem with him about cost about them ripping out the carpet and saying they had damage and they had to charge a pass tent a thousand dollars for the carpet
My fiance, kids, and I lived here for 2 years and it was the best complex we’ve ever lived at. Maintenance takes care of things almost immediately. Christina is the kindest lady I’ve ever met and she goes above and beyond for her residents. Literally the only reason we left was because we got a house. Would recommend leasing here.

Poor construction, you can hear and smell everything your neighbors do. Small parking spots. And the office staff are RIDICULOUSLY RUDE! Not worth the money

I've never been so appalled at my living situation. At first it was going really well but then the property was bought out by another investor. However, that individual has never set foot on the property. The new owner fired the great maintenance guys that worked on the property. He hired incompetent individuals who do not even know how to do their job. It was an absolute embarrassment. I refused to let family or friends visit me because of the situation. Also, there was a fire ant, cockroach, and spider infestation in our apartment. Once again the office did nothing. They claimed they never saw any of these issues but that is because they never left their pretty offices to actually look for themselves. I was also appalled by the number of times the police were called into the complex. I never felt safe there. We also know that several drug dealers live on property given the amount of marijuana that is smelled on property. So if you have a family or pets, I would definitely not recommend living here. The rent goes up dramatically every time you want to renew your lease. We renewed once and it was a complete nightmare. My husband and I were tired of hearing loud music, cars driven really fast around the parking areas, and the random loiterers around the property. After reading several of the other comments, I have come to realize that many of them are definitely made by the staff in order to make the apartment complex more appealing. IT IS NOT! I have several pictures that I took of all of the infestations and the injuries it caused to many people. Furthermore, after not renewing our lease anymore, the apartment complex will come after you for superficial damages that don't exist. Overall, there are bugs, loud noises and the office does not care at all.
When we first got our apartment, my wife and I were ecstatic. After the first four months, it became a nightmare. Every time our lease was up they raised our rent a minimum of $100 claiming "market changes." The apartment complex was bought out by a foreign investor, who had our apartment inspected 3 times in one week! They also fired all of the qualified maintenance employees, and hired a bunch of high school kids, now all the maintenance employees do is drive around the complex too fast in a golf cart and repair nothing. The apartment complex has a terrifying pest problem. My apartment had a spider infestation in the ceiling above the apartment with visible webs above the entrance to the apartment. We told the office and there was no response. We also had alive and dead cockroaches all over our poach and outdoor patio. We told the office again and no response again. Then the apartment complex developed a fire ant infestation. The infestation has already grown tremendously. My wife was bitten all over her ankle, my puppy was bitten on his paw, and I was bitten all over my left ankle. My ankle swelled up to four times its normal size. I was unable to work for about two weeks. I went into the office and reported it. The staff acted concerned and then later told me the didn't find any fire ants. So they never did anything about the infestation, they just said they talked to their "bug" guy. The next day a gentleman approaches me by my car, and says he is the "bug" guy. That my complaints about him, are causing him trouble. Apparently him doing any of his job is "trouble." I would not recommend this place to anyone! If you have small children and small pets, I would definitely stay away because of the horrific fire ant infestation. I wish I could post the pictures I took of all of the bugs and my swollen ankle so people could see how bad it truly was.
Since moving into Ventana Canyon I truly feel at home. Love my spacious apartment and being so close to the DMV and Walmart. My apartment building is conveniently located to Galleria Mall and the AutoMall. The staff in the Leasing office have been wonderful with my transition from Michigan to Henderson. The landscape is beautifully kept and I haven't heard a peep from my neighbors. I especially like the walk-n-closets and the spacious bathroom.
Recently moved to this property. So far it's been great, very quiet, and maintenance was quick to respond to our request.
My husband and I just signed our second year lease and we couldnt be happier. Between the awesome staff in the office Kim and Danielle always friendly and extremely helpful and the awesome maintance team...Victor always helps us with any problem with the apartment which is few and far between but every time he does he goes above and beyond. Not to mention the apartment is located right in the middle of anything you could ask for. We LOVE this place and are looking forward to signing a few more leases.
When moving to Vegas, I looked at 3 other apartment complexes. Ventana Canyon won me over immediately. I loved the floorplan and the fact that I had vaulted ceilings and a fireplace. The rooms were very open and spacious with plenty of room to spare. I always felt safe in the complex. I am a single female, so safety was very important to me. The office staff is extremely friendly and when something needing fixing, the maintenance crew took care of it right away. It is also centrally located next to shopping and grocery stores. The only reason I am leaving Ventana Canyon is because I am moving back to California.

Loved my time here only reason to leave and ONLY complaint is rent increase !!!!! LOVE VICTOR maintenance guy, ALWAYS goes above and beyond, strange how Kimberly and Danielle disappeared, and no one seems to know why, but as a single female always feel safe here.
