Property Ratings at Ventana Northlake
I called the property and I was greeted by Lorenzo. You can really tell that he takes pride in what he does. He was very friendly and professional. We visited the property and we were were shown the ADA unit as well as another unit. I was thoroughly impressed and I applied online before I left. Within two days I had a response. I’ve been here for a month now and it is quiet. The neighbors are pretty cool and respectful. The property is clean and well kept. I love the cabinet space and the fact that there is NO carpet. I only had one small issue with my bedroom door being a little off and not latching when closed and that was fixed immediately. Great staff…..nice location…. We’re happy.
Beautiful apartments, I will not lie. But the management is horrible.. DO NOT WALK AWAY, RUN! I would go into depth with the situation but I am still hoping to get my money back from them. They do not want to give me my deposit back even though I left EVERYTHING SPOTLESS.

Nayeli, we're very sorry to see this review. Although it happens infrequently, we never like to hear that a resident departed their apartment with negative feelings about our community and our service. We would be more than happy to look into the status of your deposit. Please reach out to us at ventananorthlake@zrsmanagement.com or 980-498-5969. Thank you.
I have been living here for a little over a year now, and I have to say I love my apartment. I felt inclined to write this review because I do see some bad ones posted, however I have never encountered any of these issues. I mean, there is some noise, but any apartment I have lived in has sounded the same. I relocated here, and the office staff has helped me navigate things to do around town, and offer events for me to come mingle. I have nothing but great things to say about them! On top of everything else, everyone who comes over always tells me how nice my place is! I love entertaining and showing it off! I am so obsessed with my apartment, and everyone wants to come cook at my place, which, I love food, so I'm all about it!
I honestly can't wait until my lease is up, I dread coming home every single day. Office staff is horrible and will not mend any issues. I've literally complained about my neighbors on top of me at least 15 times and nothing has been done. It literally sounds like an elephant is falling on the ceiling at all times of night. I've even asked to be moved or terminate my lease because it's gotten soooo bad. If you want peace and quiet when you come home, this is the wrong place for you. I'm counting down the days until the end of my lease and I will never recommend this apartment complex to anyone.
Crime is rampant. Parties happen almost every night with excessive noise. Landscapers damage vehicles parked in the lot. Management does nothing to fix issues. They're oblivious and incompetent.
I have lived here for about a year now and I moved from out of state. If my move wasn't so rushed for the new job I would have never stayed here. First of all I believe someone who works for the property stole from my apartment. The appliances look nice however when it comes to quality they are cheap. About a month ago they switched management and started making changes. I have had two vehicles and when I signed my lease it was never stated I could not have more than one vehicle parked. They have issued parking passes and my car was towed because they refused to give me two decals for my vehicles. So I had to pay 180 to get my car back. There is more than enough parking without decals but they created visitor parking only 20 visitor spots. This is not enough considering the amount of residences. You will also be towed in places that do not indicate no parking. People do not pick up their dog droppings. Which is disgusting. Noise - Dogs are constantly barking. all my neighbors have dogs and the walls are EXTREMELY THIN. It almost sounds like the Dogs are in my own living room. You can hear your neighbors doing everything. talking on the phone. Watching TV . Everything. I have complained about this numerous times and I'm always told something will be done. I'm still having these issues. People like to hang out at the pool area making noise. - They have a security guard however he does absolutely nothing but sit in his Car. -What a waste. The finishes in the apartment look to be rushed through. There was no thought when building. The placement of the cable jack is behind the bedroom door. Which is annoying because the doors open inwards. I could go on and on but my lease is almost up Thank GOD! the only good thing about this place was the distance to my job and the rent isn't too bad. But this is a prime example of getting what you pay for. Next place is definitely an upgrade and it costs a lot more.
Parking has been an issue since March of this year. There allow many non-lease holders to take up parking space. If you plan on arriving home after 4:30PM, do not even think that you will find a parking space; not even on a curb. Residents now have to be creative with parking spaces. Parking at the front of dumpsters, blocking garages, blocking in other cars, individuals leaving nasty notes over parking spaces. It is ridiculous. We have been told for 2 months now that they are working to resolve the issue, but nothing has changed. It is very unfair to us as residents!!!
I've lived here for almost two months and love the apartment. However, you do get the good and bad when living in a newly built apartment complex. Love having new and current appliances. The only downside is not having access to all the advertised amenities. We have not had the bathroom tv mirrors installed yet and the leasing office where the lounge, fitness center, wine bar is supposed to be located. Management is good though with address any issues and planning gatherings for the complex. I will be really happy once everything is complete!
Property Manager at Ventana Northlake, Responded To This Review
Thank you for your kind words and patience with the construction process. We are so glad that the clubhouse is up and running along with all of the amenities. About half the TV mirrors have been installed now and continue to install them. We hope you have had the chance to enjoy the amenities now and hope you will continue to come to all of our resident events. If there is anything I can do to make Vanguard Northlake a better place for you to call home, feel free to reach out. Kristin Community Manager 980-498-5969
