Ventura Research Park is a great place to live. DO NOT MOVE HERE My washer has been broken since April 25th 2023 Bainbridge Research Park has refused to fix it and after more than 2 months, it's still broken! More than 60 days and they still keep using the excuse that "parts are on backorder." I've given multiple opportunities and alternatives for them to fix it but they still refuse to offer any realistic help. And now they've ghosted me! DO NOT MOVE HERE

I reserved my tour through an app and then toured and discussed the property with the leasing agent Peyton. The whole process went very smoothly; she was very informative, and was able to walk me through all of my questions and the application process. The treatment from the leasing office was uncalled for. The complex should lose business and change management and staff altogether. I called this apartment complex 3 days prior to Friday, March 11th, 2022 and spoke to a woman named Payton. She was nice and provided information regarding the apartments. The following day (Wednesday) I called back to set up an appointment for Saturday, March 12th, 2022 at 10:30am. The appointment was accepted by Payton, whom I spoke to again. The following day (Thursday, March 10th, 2022), I called the property back to try to change the appointment to Friday, March 11th, 2022; Once again, Payton answered the phone and confirmed that we could change the appointment to the requested Friday, March 11th, 2022 date for meeting at 1:30pm. I thanked her and ended the call by confirming, "see you tomorrow at 1:30pm." As expected, we arrived at the apartment complex well before 1:30; I would say, we probably walked in around 1:20 or so. We parked at the leasing office building/club house to find the doors to the leasing office locked with a sign on the door saying that they were on lunch and that they would be back at 2:15pm. I knocked on the leasing office doors, yet no one answered. My appointment was set to the requested 1:30pm for that day. The person to give us the tour was supposed to be Payton. After several calls and voicemails, a man parked outside on a truck. He was nice enough to identify that he worked for the apartment complex and would get in contact with the leasing office. He came back to us by saying, "there is no appointment set up for you today and our manager is in a conference call." I apologized to the man and replied how unprofessional that was of the leasing office to have done. I spoke to Payton 3 days in a row. How can there not be an appointment shown? How is she in "lunch" during the time she had agreed to a meeting? How is it that a manager who is charge of an office didn't even bother to check why was someone knocking at the doors when a lunch sign was posted? A conference call is not an excuse to ignore issues, she could easily just have check and asked us to wait and could have apologized for the misunderstanding. Nevertheless, the man confirmed that he had spoken to Payton and that she confirmed she was having lunch. How can someone who I had spoken to 3 days in row delete an appointment and act so uncaring? You lost business that day because you're unable to perform your job properly.

I am moving in later this week and I couldn’t be more excited! I researched different apartments in the area and this one was the winner, by far. I looked at the reviews before making my decision and though the trash is an issue, we are responsible for disposing of trash in a trash area, as with any establishment. Regardless, I can’t wait to call this place home.

Preface: Harvey and Peyton are very kind individuals that did not contribute negatively to my terrible experience at Bainbridge Research Park. From the minute we moved in, my roommate and I encountered problems. The ONE elevator that is in the giant Manor Building was out of order at least once every three weeks, leaving us to climb four stories to get to our apartment. Key fobs to get into the building were constantly not working and residents would prop the outside doors open with traffic cones, shoes, sticks, etc. to get inside (defeating the whole purpose of having a key fob). Residents were having parties constantly and sleepless nights were easy to come by; between people shouting in the hallways to cars revving their engines at the wee hours of the night, it was always something. Other residents would also trash all of the seemingly nice amenities that come with Bainbridge Research Park; broken glass on the sidewalks, the pool area was disgusting and trashed, poop was always in the grass, and the game room would always be left a mess in the clubhouse. Car break-ins happened weekly, and the only ways we knew about it were either from the affected residents or by seeing broken glass and a damaged car. There are no security cameras on the property except for one that faces the dumpster. Speaking of the dumpster, it was constantly overflowing. The entire trash area was filled literally to the brim and then some with bags of trash, mattresses, and anything else moving residents wanted to leave behind. Management was informed, but told us that they didn’t know about the growing problem that had been happening for months because no one told them about it, despite the fact that they can see Mount Dumpster from their offices that are mere feet away. Mailboxes were constantly trying to be broken into with crowbars, again management wouldn’t tell us about it and this was only something we knew because we saw it. The walls inside of the Manor Building were consistently scrapped up and the sides were dented from inconsiderate residents moving in and out. There were a variety of things in the hallways and elevator that include, but are not limited to: crawfish, pie crust, pee, poop, vomit, glitter, paint, unknown liquids, and unknown powders. We couldn’t get out fast enough. The low rent and other incentives may be enticing, but it’s not worth the 12 month long nightmare that comes with it. Stay away from Bainbridge Research Park.

The recycling and trash center have been unusable 99% of the time I've lived here. There seems to be a disconnect somewhere in management. They are either in denial of the issue, or are just unwilling to spend money on maintaining things. There are 380+ apartments here which all use the same small facility. They only have one guy out there, who's doing his best, but it's not a job that just one person can handle. I cannot recommend living here to anyone who plans on recycling.

For this purpose, we have multiple receptacles outside of the buildings for normal garbage disposal use, we inform residents at the time of move in of the location of the recycling and the compactor, we communicate through a property wide email, and is readily available in the lease agreement. Don’t be fooled by the brand new apartments and nice finishes. I live here and the walls are paper thin, insulation is poor, and there are loud outdoor heating units placed right outside the bedroom windows of apartments. The noise makes it difficult to fall asleep at night. Maintenance requests get ignored and management is radio silent when it comes to any complaints. I regret signing a lease here. Look elsewhere.

Not only did she show me the floor plan I had requested but she showed me other options as well. She is a great listener and is very patient! The property is so awesome! It looks like a resort!! You get a lot of bang for your buck here! The staff in and of itself is super awesome I was getting ready to apply at another residence and then visited Bainbridge.
