It may not have the flashy reputation of San Francisco or Los Angeles, but Sacramento embodies the very best of what makes California so unique. The city is well known for preserving its history, from early settlements like Sutter’s Fort to the gorgeous 19th century architecture of Old Sacramento to the artifacts in the Sacramento History Museum. Pop culture and the fine arts are well-represented, with local stages hosting symphony concerts and rock shows and galleries displaying works by the old masters as well as modern upstarts. The local restaurant scene is famous for its heavy emphasis on “farm to fork” principles, making it one of the best places to find fresh, locally sourced food.
Those living in Sacramento love to take advantage of the mild climate, whether that means biking the River Trail, taking the kids to Fairytale Town, or heading over to Sutter Health Park to catch a River Cats baseball game.

Property Ratings at Veranda at the Park
I just moved here 3 months ago, so far it's ok. The management here, they have horrible communication. I wouldn't even try emailing or calling management office because they never respond. And if you go into the office just hope someone is there to help you, you'd be lucky.
I have lived here for about 6 months and I'm super impressed with management and maintenance. I understand COVID has gotten a lot of people in a nutshell but the girls in the office have handled us with care and understanding. I'm glad i made veranda my home, not too sure where I'd be had I not.
Listen, I have been here for a little over 7 years...I've always loved where I lived. There will be issues where ever you live but Veranda has been my home and I have zero complaints. We have been requesting the old managers to give us new washers and dryers for years and our new manager was finally able to get that. They're much bigger and for the same price. No extra charges if we decide to use hot water, request a larger wash, or mark it xtra soiled. This place has really turned around and the new manager Lexus...well actually she's been here for over a year now....has been the best we had. Julia is very kind and helpful, always has a smile on her face. Office staff and kind, willing to help and Navor is always sure to get your maintenance request done in usually less than 24 hours....depending on how busy he is. Thank you Veranda at the Park team for helping long-time residents see a difference. We love the new changes you have brought.
They made my moving experience super easy for me! Julia was so friendly and accommodating. My new apartment is so spacious and great closet space! A plus for me!
I moved in almost exactly a year ago and I STILL have cockroaches thanks to this place. The day we moved in I found a dead cockroach, so we were told to keep everything packed for the weekend and it would be sprayed on Monday. Now, after multiple times of being sprayed they are still here. It is disgusting. Despite numerous times of having to pack up my apartment to get sprayed, the manager has not offered any sort of compensation for the inconvenience. DO NOT MOVE HERE.
The apartments are renovated and modernized, and modernized to be very pet friendly. There is a large park across the street with a dog park that is very convenient to let the dogs stretch their legs. The units are a decent size compared to other units at other complexes for the price. The management is on top of things, and the staff make things very convenient for the residents. It's a great place, and a really good first choice for anyone needing an apartment in the area.
The renovations and the space is great.. it’s very spacious and clean and the management is really accommodating. Beth is on top of her work & always trying to make sure everything goes smooth. Quick maintenance fixes too. The major con is that there really is a roach problem and I wish I could say there wasn’t. We saw maybe 10-15 roaches within 2 weeks of not even unpacking yet. They have routine pest sprays every Monday and even with that we still saw a few a night. extremely gross.. I don’t even think we used the kitchen more than 3 times because it was infested :(
They make this place look so nice on the surface. Underlying homeless live next door and rummage through the garbage cans and knock on doors all drugged up. The place has rats and cockroaches ruining rampant. Beware before you sign. You’ll never see your deposit again
Beth (property manager) Is so nice and she is always incredibly attentive and helpful. Great when it comes to having things repaired in a quick and timely fashion. Me and my fiance moved in here in a few months ago and we love it. Also despite the reviews saying there is a roach infestation, it maybe a cleanliness thing because we've only seen a one or two since we've moved in. The park across the street is great and huge bonus. The only con is that on busy weekends parking can be SCARCE and sometimes you have to drive around for a while since there is no street parking outside the complex.
I moved in here a few months ago and it is a fantastic apartment complex! The maintenance is ready and available at any time and this would be a great place to move-into for anyone looking for an apartment. I have been pleased with my experience thus far and plan to stay for as long as possible. TWO THUMBS UP!!
My husband and I were a bit skeptical when considering move into Veranda. So much reconstruction work taking place at the time!! We have two sons, ages 5 and 7 and i really liked idea of having park directly across street from us. We made decision to move in, and could not be more happy with our beautifully renovated apartment.:) The new property management team has taken great measures it seems, to take this complex to an entire new level. It's just so peaceful here; it feels good. We have yet to have an issue or problem, since moving in. I did experience in laundry room once a washing machine not working properly and i gotta say, if you see something like that as a major issue, you may want to consider yoga or going across street to park and feeding ducks and relaxing or perhaps anger management classes, its just not a big deal lol Our closest neighbor, upstairs across from us has a 6 yr old daughter and its looking like my 5yr old has made his first official best friend!!! They play great together. They built a lego santa clause with a race car outside, a few days ago, cutest thing ever:)))))) We truly love it here.We are happy and blessed with all our wants and needs met from every angle. There is even places to shop and restaurants just a mere few minutes away. I love it....So far.. So great!! Yes:)
INFESTED WITH ROACHES!!!!!!! I REPEAT INFESTED WITH ROACHES I KNOW FORM PERSONAL EXPERIENCE!!!! TRUST ME DO NOT APPLY HERE ESPECIALLY IF YOU HAVE CHILDREN LOOKS GOOD ON THE OUTSIDE BUT U WILL BE GREATLY DISAPPOINTED LIKE I WAS WHEN YOU MOVE IN!!! THEY CHANGED THE NAME IT USED TO BE PARK TERRACE IF YOU GOOGLE THAT NAME IT WILL TELL YOU EXACTLY WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW!!!
