It was a gated community but the gate has been broken for 2 yrs. Many cars have been either stolen or broken in and the cameras don’t work. We also been seeing roaches in our apartment, we called the office but they blame it on tenant leaving trash out. Wish I can give them 0 stars.
Horrible apartment complex I ever experienced. The gate has not been fixed and sure enough we already got someone car broken in. Lastly, parking is horrible. When you come home late, all the parks will be taken (people that don’t live there ended up parking thanks to the broken gate). Oh and if you don’t like roaches I suggest you avoid this apartment.
Horrible experience, apartment was full of roaches (pest control can’t control them). Firstly they will show you nicely furnished model apartment, but they will give you apartment having low graded bath tub with cheap quality paint on it which will peel off with in 3-4 months, poor quality carpet, windows blinds, kitchen cabinets etc. Finally when you move-out they will put all unfair charges on you (many hundreds of dollars at least). When you question about these, they give you ridiculous answers.
Roaches problem in the entire community and it's really out of control and it's all over the house , we have to spend lot of money every month to buy various kinds of things to keep roaches away but nothing is helping , the pest control which leasing office organizes is really useless and has no impact on the roaches. The buildings are really old and there were so many houses which water damages during the winter storm , which has added to the roaches problem , we have raised pest control request but had no help from the leasing office It's a friendly community but the building problems and roach issues are making us to wait for our lease to end as soon as possible so that we could move to better community

Complex is mostly filled with families; not for the young, single professional. But along those lines, it is quiet and peaceful for the most part. Uncovered parking is first-come first-served and is plentiful, no fear of running out of parking spots even for your guests. This complex seems to be on the corporate referral list for international specialized tech professionals (if you know what I mean). Due to this, there may be a cultural gap leading to an on-going roach infestation that no number of pest control will cure, garbage being left outside of units on non-trash pick-up days for DAYS & NIGHTS, security gates always staying open due to residents forcing them open manually instead of using their gate fobs/codes and very pungent smells emanating through closed doors into shared breezeways. Communal hallways and breezeways are dirty and stained and there are no visible evidence of management trying to improve or eradicate any of these conditions.

Thank you for providing us with your feedback, and we're happy to hear there are plenty of things you're enjoying about life at Verandah at Valley Ranch. Please note our pest control company is on site every Thursday, and we hired a new vendor in late 2017 that's producing much better results. If you're experiencing an ongoing pest issue, please contact the office, so we may inspect and treat as needed ASAP. Also, we walk the property daily Monday-Friday and fine any residents found leaving their trash out during non-valet hours. We encourage residents to take photos and email them to us with the violating neighbor's apartment number anytime trash is observed left out on the weekends. Finally, we strive to power wash the breezeways quarterly, but our maintenance team has been short a member for several months so this schedule's been more difficult to maintain. We're actively looking to hire another Maintenance Technician soon, and we've been researching methods to help remove more stubborn stains. We'll begin a new schedule this month to get caught up on power washing all breezeways. We hope this information helps! I love my apartment, it is very spacious. Very friendly staff.
The apartment complex is very family friendly. You see people out with their children everyday. Starting my own family I needed to move to an apartment that was a little less young professional and a little more family friendly. i get that with this complex. With that being said My experience with the staff isn't horrible, but not the best and far from it. When moving into the apartment they didn't honor the price listed online and refused to give us the apartment at that rate. By that time our hands were tied. I will say they quoted us a higher price to begin with, but we never signed any paperwork after looking at other apartments when we saw the lower price online we went with this apartment. One of the things keeping us here is that family friendly atmosphere. Again I love coming home to my wife and children and being surrounded by others who have kids. Can't say that about my last 2 apartments where we felt more alienated, because we were amongst the few who had children. Outside of the initial move in things have not been horrible with the staff, but those first impression are always hard to leave anyone. Now off the staff. Would I recommend this apartment????As long as the initial experience isn't what ours was yes. If you are looking for a quiet complex or want the luxury of having the elementary school right across the street, restaurants, grocery stores, retailers near you then this is a good place to be. Not far from the airport and easy access to the major highways.

Verandah at Valley Ranch is a wonderful apartment to live in with some good maintenance. The apartment by itself is not very new but maintenance is spot on. Commute to airport / school / groceries or anything you name it is within minutes. Thanks to the location.
