Property Ratings at Verandas at Alamo Ranch
This complex does not show you the actual apartment you will live in. They show you a spotless, there best cleaned, apartment with no issues or damage. Many neighbors and ourselves included have damages within our apartments. Pool is not cleaned correctly and turns green every 6 days. Management is poor to get in touch with. They painted over holes in the walls, dirty floor boards, covered the mold in our shower, vents left dirty, porch is stained, light doesn’t work in the laundry room, paint is splattered on the floors, light switches look chewed on, and dishwasher is not draining. None of this was adjusted or fixed prior to us moving in. The neighbor’s dog barks all hours of the night and therefore the apartment management does not enforce quiet hours. Dog poop is everywhere! The dog park is nasty. The gates have been open for 5+ months now. The treadmills do not work in the gym either and we are still getting mail from the last three tenants that were in our apartment! I like the apartment layout but it has not been a pleasant experience. Some of the ladies at the desk are kind but were disappointed.

We chose this complex because it was a smaller community. Residents speed through the complex, many small children playing, not watching. Dog crap is everywhere, owners don't pick it up, dog park is hideous. Water in the dog park has been broken for months. Dumpsters? Well, they are always overflowing, and trash is seldom picked up when it is supposed to be. Management has changed hands at least 3 times alone this year. Pool hasn't worked all summer. it is currently a lovely shade of green.

This list is too long to go through but without a doubt the worst place to live. You will be living in garbage piles in every hallway due to the trash pick up not doing their job. The dumpsters constantly full, these pictures are from multiple days in a row. Pool closed much more often than it's open. Dog poop everywhere you walk and the dog park not usable because it's so full of excrement. Stay far far away. And don't believe the management, they have switched management companies in 3 times in the time I've been in here for less than a year!

I’m really enjoying my new home and all it offers. It’s close to shopping centers and my church. Love the helpful staff and there friendly helpfulness. Love monthly get together.

Don't leave in this community, the management is very poor, specially the MANAGER, the hallway is always dirty, you can hear NOISE all the time, In summer the police have to came because the people in the pool stay very late at night with the music very loud. One morning I woke up and my car and another they tried to steal them and they don't do anything, just only said, manager words "we saw the person on the camera but we can't so anything". This is NOT the place that you would NEVER live with kids. The Valet Trash is horrible they change every time from company to another. They put a combo of WIFI and cable that always have problem with the signal, on the portal you can see all the people complaining about this. Pest Control guy is a mess. They don't have EMPATHY with anyone. For that reason I decided NOT renew my contract. They charge you for things that in another place you don't have to pay. On your renewal, even if you don't want to stay, they don't give you options.

Chose this place for location. On nice days I'm able to walk to work. In the morning I always stop to grab a cup of coffee. The staff always greets me with a good morning. Great customer service.
I was stuck in a bind and needed a place right away. Emily and Rebecca made it all happen the same day! They stayed late to get me approved and help me set up all my utilities. The maintenance supervisor came out and even introduced himself to me and my family. So far I really am thankful for them and we are looking forward to staying here till we buy our home. We recommend this place.
Easy to get in and out of. Entrance isnt on the main street of culebra..Plan on renewing my lease this month.
Everyone is super quick to ansewer requests. There very clean when done with the work orders.
Convieantly located to everything. All with in walking distance.

Very disappointed and upset in the direction this complex is going. Trucks and cars are being broken into in the middle of the night. Tires and rims are being stolen and the level of safety is not so good in this complex. Neighbors are very noisy and the front office doesn’t do anything about noise. They say call them and then the issues just gets worse and worse. Other residents are smoking and doing drugs around the complex and I have made several attempts to call the cops and nothin has been done by the cops or the front office. For the price we and everyone else pays a month, these apartments should be looking like a million bucks, and safety or noise shouldn’t be an issue either! The sidewalks and breezeways shouldn’t be looking like the way they do. There are very filthy and dirty! Again the price we pay, the complex shouldn’t be looking like the way it does! It’s embarrassing when we have family or friends over and they see how dirty the complex is. The front office staff doesn’t do there job correctly and especially the manager! The manager is a know it all and she’s very rude and talks down on you. My neighbor across from me, he’s had several run ins with her and tells me about how she “ handles” her residents. My opinion is that she should start doing her job correctly and be keeping up with this complex and be doing checks on her residents and her complex. We have lived in similar or same price apartment complex and they have not looked like how this complex looks. We and other residents wish that the community would look better and the safety of the community would be better. Hello my name is Mia, and I wanted to express my feelings about the apartment complex. I pray that this review will make an impact in the front office and for the viewers. I recently just moved in with my boyfriend and his dog. First off, I was very hesitant to move in because I was renting down the road. But here I am giving it a shot and I think noise is a big problem in this apartment complex. We live in building 1. All of our neighbors are so sweet, except for the ones above us. They are always up making noise and stomping their fat feet on the floor at night. They are keeping us up at all hours of the nights. My boyfriend has made several attempts to have a talk with them, but it always results in them ignoring him and walking away. He doesn't involve the office and complain because we have heard and seen that they treat you very ugly once you start to complain about something. They will just say that is their way of living and to ignore them. Talking to several of my boyfriends neighbors throughout the building, the manager is very rude and basically just talks down on you and ignores you. A lot of the residents have been talking and no one approaches or tells her anything because she is rude. We aren't your kids, we are adults! I personally don't think that is very PROFESSIONAL and its kinda rude of her. One day I walked into the office to get a hot chocolate from their Starbucks machine, and I witness the mean manager talking very rude to a lady that I was assuming that is a resident. I JUST WANT TO KNOW HOW LONG IS IT GONNA TAKE FOR CORPORATE OFFICE TO GET INVOLVED AND DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS SITUATION? After reading the reviews below it seems that this is a constant problem and nothing is getting done about it. The only reason there are so many " good " reviews is because the manager managed to make them write a review good or bad in order to be put into a drawing for a free month of rent. Of course someone is gonna write a " good" review to get a free month. I am happy someone below called out the office staff for boosting the ratings. I have never seen a staff do that, and I have lived in previous apartment complex. Please work and be nice with your residents and hopefully everyone will be happy.
The experience has been great since move in. Office staff is very helpful and have good hours unlike a lot of other places I’ve rented at. My apartment was soo clean when I moved in! I was impressed again compared to some other places I’ve lived, they were just okay. Beautiful upgrades in appartment to make it feel more at home and stylish. I have two dogs and the dog park is huge! It’s hard to find a good sized dog park at a lot of places! The pool and gym are a pretty good size too. My main and really only complaint is that there is quite a bit of dog poop in some areas. Lots of owners here don’t pick up! I have seen ants here and there as well but only in the bathroom and maybe 5 at a time. However the office does try to send out reminders about the poop and there is pest control offered of course! The comeplex is also very lit at night which is nice because you feel a little safer. Overall great time here and would recommend for sure!
The apartments recently got new owners and they are so helpful, and nice. When they were brought in they redid the front entrance and it's look good. they were able to get rid of Grasshoppers or Ants and they are willing to work with you and are doing there best to fix the issues from the old owners
Old staff was great. New staff needs work. Very rude. Have to remind constantly of issues in apartment. Finally had them come over. Will be moving as soon as I can. Cannot get rid of Grasshoppers or Ants in the house. Have called pest control quite a few times. On the verge of calling housing inspector. With kids in the apartment I worry about their safety having to poison so much to get the bugs out.
The apartments recently got new owners and they are so helpful, and nice. When they were brought in they redid the front entrance and it's look good. They are very warm and welcoming. They're a good improvement for these apartments.
