Property Ratings at Verano at Rancho Cucamonga Town Square
RUN RUN. Do not be fooled by their title of “luxury apartment living”. This place is a joke. Seriously do not live here. The apartments themselves are nice but that is where it ends. The complex is incredibly loud and the management is beyond incompetent. They will give you the run around every chance that they can get. They are run by a mega management company so they use them as a scapegoat to not do their jobs and lie to you. Also, this place is incredibly expensive. They charge you fees on top of fees. Go find a different apartment so that you will not have to pay out of your lease like I did because it was that unbearable.

If I could give zero or negative stars I would. This complex has the worst management, policies and security. In the 4 years I've lived here I've had my garage broken into, neighbors harass us, I've seen other neighbors have their garage broken into, neighbors who cause insane amount of noise on weekdays and weekends in the middle of the night, and the list goes on. Management will do nothing but notify these neighbors and that's it. They have it in their lease agreement that they have a nosie policy and will do nothing, not even a slap on the wrist. I've been complaining about the same neighbors that stomp, blast music, all day and night and not once has the complex done anything other than "notify." Every issue you have they'll give you the run around and read the same script. They'll say "well did you call security?" Their security isn't even on sight, it's a third party that's take 1-3 hours to show up for an incident, by the time they show up the issue is gone and youre either wide awake at 3am or miserable trying to enjoy your day/evening. I've gone through every step and policy protocol with these issues and even dealt with multiple people with corporate, no one helps and this management company is trash.

Hello there, We are saddened to hear that you have been experiencing noise concerns in your home. Units can have more or less noise depending on the location. Noise is sometimes something that cannot be completely eliminated when it comes to apartment living. According to our records, our team has been actively working to assist you with your noise concerns. Though most of the time noise complaints can be resolved quickly, there are other times when we need to utilize more extensive measures in order to achieve resolve. The team can only take the necessary steps afforded to them under the guidance of state law and the lease to work towards a permanent resolution. In these cases, we encourage our residents to contact the courtesy officer and/or police so there is a 3rd party witness to the noise. At this time, the team has not found any noise that would be considered excessive. We will continue to assist you with your concerns in anyway we can. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding. Kind Regards, Callie
Property management- UDR is the worst. If you like bugs, broken gates, homeless, unethical charges, and an 80’s build with just paint slapped over it move on in! Please look at my google review for further inquiry. Taking them to small claims court to say the least.

Hi, We are sorry to hear you have been dissatisfied with your experience in our community. We try our best to make the resident experience as enjoyable as possible when someone decides to call one of our communities home. Although there may be issues over the course of a resident’s lease, we investigate these issues thoroughly to ensure they are taken care of in a complete and professional manner. We are sad to read we missed the mark. Thank you for your review. Kind Regards, Madison
When we first moved in it was great, then after about 2 months in we realized how dark, dirty and poorly maintained the apartment was. They are good about coming to fix things. The bad part is, it’ll most likely break down again in a few weeks. The refrigerator leaks out of nowhere and the AC stops working randomly even when the temperature was at a normal temperature. The management team doesn’t care about tenants. Strangers randomly get in and I even had a drugged person loitering in the hallway and after telling management, they simply said, call the police. Nobody picks up after their dogs and the neighbors always played instruments even though the lease clearly states no instruments allowed. Also, don’t expect the leasing agents or anyone to answer your questions until 3 days to a week later it that. After leasing there for almost a year, I’ve never seen any of their faces except Albert. He’s probably the most helpful out of everyone. I DEFINITELY don’t recommend anyone to live here.

Hi, We appreciate your feedback and are truly sorry about the unresolved maintenance concerns you have been dealing with. I will reach out to our maintenance team and relay your frustrations to ensure we work on improving. We encourage our residents to reach out to the office any time they notice areas of the property needing attention so our team can address it promptly; Please contact security or the police if you witness any suspicious persons within the community, as they are better equipped to handle these situations. If there is anything additional you need assistance with, please also feel free to reach out to us at WeCare@udr.com and we will be happy to help address your concerns. Kind regards, Rachel C.
I’ve been here going on 4 years…..it was good at 1st but now a totally different story. No return calls everything has to be communicated through a portal or text message so impersonal & unprofessional. I have a neighbor that fights their kids throw toys food & trash in my patio. I leave my garage up and I’m car gets damaged by the same neighbors kids throw LEGOS. I have emailed to the point I created a spreadsheet of constant issues. This is how the Property Mgr. problem solves. After almost 4 yrs of living here never late in my rent…..she offered me a 30-day buy out of my lease and keep the tenants that fight and disrupt. Please tell me that makes sense.:.:::that front office is something special.
Been living here for the past 9 months now and I’ve had mixed thoughts about my experience so far. Pros: - Phone app is convenient - Amenities - Location (lots of marketplaces and shops nearby) - Option for 2 parking spots - Maintenance team, for the few times I’ve had to reach out to them, are relatively quick to resolve the issue. Cons: - People in the community (those who don’t pick up after themselves and leave trash behind, especially with their dogs) - Leasing management office or lack of management. After reaching out to them 3 times regarding noisy neighbors they have done nothing to resolve the issue. They’ve responded with “We have reached out to the resident” and used the following as an explanation “Due to residents working from home there has been increase in noise”. This is the reason they give me after informing them that our neighbors are being extremely loud (playing music, screaming, stomping) after midnight on a weekday. Overall, I feel that I’ve given the leasing office enough chances to settle the noise complaint considering that all residents are under contract with them. Because of my experiences here so far, it’s difficult to recommend the Verano to anyone. I doubt that this issue will be resolved during the remainder of my lease here due to the incompetence of the leasing office. At this point I am looking forward to moving out of this community.
CENTRALLY LOCATED BETWEEN THE 10 AND 210. GREAT RESTAURANTS NEARBY, QUIET, AND WELL WORTH THE PRICE FOR WHAT AMENITIES ARE OFFERED. OFFICE STAFF IS POLITE, PROFESSIONAL, AND HELPFUL AND THE MAINTENANCE STAFF IS EXCELLENT AND PROMPT. UPKEEP ON GROUNDS, POOL, SPA EVERY WEEK ENSURES CLEAN, INVITING COMMON AREAS. VERY HAPPY WITH OUR DECISION TO RENT HERE AND GOING ON TWO YEARS. WE HAVE RENTED ALL OVER NORTHERN AND SOUTHERN CA AND VERANO BY FAR IS THE BEST COMMUNITY WE HAVE CHOSEN TO LIVE. ALSO,NEVER HAD AN ISSUE WITH PARKING AS PERMITS ARE GRANTED FOR RESIDENTS. LOVE IT HERE.
