Greenbelt is a scenic suburb ideally positioned at the intersection of multiple major highways, including the Baltimore-Washington Parkway and the Capital Beltway. Close proximity to these highways affords many residents short commutes, in addition to the city’s convenience to top employers like the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center, the Department of Agriculture Research Center, and the University of Maryland. Washington, DC and Annapolis and Baltimore, MD are also within commuting distance of Greenbelt.
Despite Greenbelt’s close proximity to several urban centers, the city maintains a distinct suburban vibe. Lush tree-lined streets lead to tranquil parks such as Greenbelt Park, Buddy Attick Lake Park, and Schrom Hills Recreation Center in Greenbelt, where residents can enjoy an array of recreational activities. Shopping opportunities abound at Beltway Plaza Mall, Roosevelt Center, and Greenway Center.

Property Ratings at Verde at Greenbelt Station
This apartment's management team is terrible. They never answer emails, don't pick up the phone, and take forever to fix any problems. Nothing gets done here. Save yourself the headache and look somewhere else. The management is completely unresponsive and don't seem to care about helping residents at all.

This apartment complex has been nothing but a nightmare, I am literally counting down the days for this lease to be over. They have a roach infestation in the building and they have done nothing but blew me off, I’ve allowed them ample time to resolve the issue and it has not gotten better it has actually gotten worst. The staff is rude and they do not have any regard for their tenants, I have spoken with the leasing office and the property manager in regard to this and they continue to repeat the same resolution tactics that clearly aren’t working. Take your hard earned money and move elsewhere.

I had to move out due to unfortunate personal events this past month. The leasing office did a great job helping me with this by going above and beyond. The neighborhood is very nice and good place to live!
I lived at Verde for 6 months and during my first move out inspection I was told that nothing was wrong with the apartment and that the carpet which was dirty would be replaced when I moved out. A month later I'm being charged $1600.00 for a carpet replacement which I was not financially prepared for specially during these trying times. I honesty thought they would take in consideration that there only one small area where the carpet was dirty as I was explained at the pre inspection move out walk through. The only thing I can say is great about living here is that Amy which is an employee at Verde went above and beyond for her residents.
No security, no rule enforcement, no gym. The walls are paper thin, and many of your neighbors will take turns blasting their stereos all day and all night. This is especially prevalent in the 8000 building courtyard as there is an echo that insights them. If you plan to open your windows in the summer I hope you don’t mind smoke. Everyone here smokes something. Legal or otherwise. This location has been plagued with car-breakins, rims stolen and vehicles left on bricks. I have lived here for 3 years, and it’s a shame what this place has become. Beautiful on the outside, but utterly disappointing on the inside. I will not be renewing my lease. Look for better apartments elsewhere.
I will try to give a review that is not bias in nature. I am a current resident who recently moved from their sister property in Howard County. The staff made every attempt to handle my issues that I had with the previous property and accommodate my needs as I moved into my new place. They are a professional staff with four very qualified individuals in the front office. This property is fairly new and I expected to have problems because nothing had ever been used. I had problems with a door hinge and making sure my washer was filling to the correct level. The maintenance staff responded quickly by fixing the door and explaining to me how my washer worked (ie, there was nothing wrong). I give the property a 4 out of 5 overall because it is very new and true quality will be tested over time. My apartment is extremely nice, the staff is excellent and my neighbors are all very respectful. The staff even hosts monthly events so you may meet new people in the community. Pros: staff, gym (I use it every morning), spacious apartments, beautiful complex, easy access to metro and 495 beltway, Lake is nearby Cons: new building, the elevator is not very close to main office (I have to walk a distance) If I find any more pros or cons I will be sure to update, but at the moment this is all I have.
