Ogden is a neighborhood located about seven miles northeast of Downtown Vancouver. Similar to other Washington neighborhoods, Ogden is wooded with several parks and tree-lined streets. The Royal Oaks Country Club in the northern corner of the neighborhood provides a beautiful backdrop to several homes while Meadowbrook Marsh Park is great for jogging and bike riding. Ogden feels suburban with multiple schools, childcare centers, and easy access to a variety of amenities. Property Ratings at Veri Vancouver
Complex needs a manager that LIVES ON PROPERTY to handle all of the issues that happen when they are not on property, not someone that lives in Oregon. Every weekend there is always someone either knocking on the door or ringing the doorbell, local solicitors and the local homeless knows this and takes advantage of it. There needs to be a privacy wall due to the noise off 4th Plain and a security system to monitor the complex due to the crime. Non smoking rules are not enforced, you can find cigarette butts all over the property, plus the manager is a heavy smoker. 1 Year of major construction, inconvenience, noise and loss of amenities, you pay for amenities you either don't get or you lose them months at a time. No right to quiet enjoyment of property and treated like second class citizens while living here.
Do not live here if you work nights. Apartments area is very noisy during the day, private day care center on property, church next door and right off fourth plain rd. plus management is always upgrading something that's a major inconvenience to all of the tenants, the place would be a lot better with some sort of noise barrier but then you will have the smokers complaining about having to walk around it to smoke off the property, oh and thanks for starting the fire that burn down our apartment. I do not recommend living in anyone of the apartments that goes from the office to fourth plain you can never get any sleep. There is very little privacy and security here, every weekend someone is knocking on tenants doors either trying to sell something or asking for money.
I loved these apartments! The management is amazing. Super friendly, caring, and attentive! The maintenance is awesome as well. They are super quick to fix something and get things done in a quick and respective manner. It is a non-smoking property which is great for us non-smokers. The apartments themselves are super spacious. There is tons of storage space and a lot of room. There is a big covered patio that is great for the nice weather! They allow pets too which is great for us animal lovers. And the manager loves to visit with your pets as much as you do. You get a lot for what you pay. The only reason I moved is to be closer to school and work. If I were to move back to Vancouver, Van Plaza would be the first place I'd go to. Loved it there and loved the people as well! Definitely look into them!
Management is great and apartments are huge for the price. Maintenance responds quickly. No smoking on property which is nice for us non-smokers. Large covered patio that's great during the summer and a fireplace that's great for the winter.
Place is nice. Management is cool, and Maintenance is prompt and competent. The place is quiet for the most part (it is an apartment after all), the patios are good size, and parking is ok. The only issue is that the ants show up every year, but management is pretty good about getting exterminators to came take care of the problem.
