This place is maggot infested as well as the office management. They would never get another lease sighed with me. I'd advise you to keep moving past this place.

Save yourself the headache. I’ve lived here 4 years and have lived my apartment, however management is constantly changing; they are rude; the call the police on frustrated tenants who do not display violent or threatening behavior to get out of following up on tasks; they NEVER answer the phone; maintenance is extremely behind. They are currently adding a random fee that has never been spoken of to our leases for storage units that have always been apart of my apartment. The storage unit cannot be accessed without going through my apartment, but is somehow now an add on after my lease was already renewed and finalized. Just don’t move here. I’m sure there’s something better out there. The property has amazing potential, but management is a disgrace.

They won’t return phone call on repairs. Went 3 weeks with out heat in Dec. As of right now I am over a week with out them fixing my hot water.

This is definitely not a place to live, especially if you have children. It’s all about optics; new outside door frames, freshly painted buildings just to change the color, (buildings were painted 2-years ago), and fancy outside lights that add absolutely nothing to the enhance security. It’s quite obvious inside conditions of the apartments aren’t a priority. My apartment is full of mold, tiles are falling off the walls, and I went without heat for several days. Further, my furnace filter hasn’t been changed in TWO YEARS and the same applies to my neighbors. This is quite dangerous for people with asthma or health-related breathing problems. The hot water works sporadically, it takes at least 10 minutes for it to get hot, then it only stays hot for a very short time. Further, the water is so cloudy that I refuse to cook with it. Drive through the complex and you’ll see filthy trash overflowing in dumpsters, non-working security and carport lights in the evening, and privacy fences literally falling down. Management is completely unresponsive; they don’t answer the phone, return calls and that includes the emergency line, nor do they follow-up as promised. They do little but expect tenants to pay a lot.

Hot water is constantly in and out. Maintenance is poor the management is poor. They will not get back to you if there is an issue in an efficient manor! I have been having apartment leaks for over a month that has not been fixed. I AM READY TO MOVE!!!!!!! Nicely renovated but everything else is TERRIBLE!!!!!
This place is a joke, management and maintenance are poorly ran. I spent majority of my Sunday trapped inside of my apartment because the door was jammed shut and Jenny from the office didn’t even want to call maintenance to come help me. I originally put in a maintenance request with a long list, including the door, it’s now the end of February and no one has yet to come out. Coby from the office let me know not to expect anyone anytime soon. Things constantly fall apart, all of my issues from move in still haven’t been resolved, and we have heating/cooling issues. Currently, we don’t have any hot water and no one notified us, sent an email or a notice.
We haven't lived here long but there has been many issues with our apt. The crazy thing is, they could be beautiful if the up keep was done. The apt we have is wonderful, it's the issues we are having that makes it a nightmare, especially for the rent price. The office staff are dishonest and they close out your maintenance tickets without completing them and we are almost through half the year and they still aren't done. Find somewhere else, it's not worth the money! AND you sure don't get a pleasant experience.
Really would rate them nothing if i could. They renovated these, so they look great upon touring and first move in but every issue from there just makes the experience worse and worse. 1) there’s no drop box for rent. basically, if you can’t get it there before close. you deal with the late fee. 2) they never complete their maintenance requests in a timely manner. Was waiting for AC repair for atleast 2 months and it was never fixed. Apparently, there are 20 other apartments in here without AC as well. i asked if they could atleast fix the window screens so i could open my windows since i’m on the second floor. I never even received that help. 3) I had to eventually just leave due to an infestation of rats in my walls. They were trying to convince me that they were “squirrels” since the last tenant “had that issue” My father and i put out traps to figure out what they really were. we put 4, and 4 hours later, all four had a rat inside! At that point, i called the health department, packed my bags and hit jets. Preparing to sue as we speak.
I was skeptical of living here after reading some of the reviews but decided to move in anyway because I figure people have different experiences than others. I cannot even begin to describe how terrible the staff of Veridian is. Very unprofessional, I have been cussed at, lied to, and disrespected this entire time. Not to mention the maintenance and service is the worst I have ever seen. It is absolutely ridiculous and the main reason I am writing this is to save you all from making the same mistake I did. Find somewhere else. Pay more. Whatever. Do not get stuck dealing with this company. I never thought living would be so hard.

I have lived in the complex for 9 years and I’ve never experienced what I’ve experienced over the last 2 years. I have had air and water problems (which has been occurring on and off for at least a year). I’ve called corporate several times and I’ve have gotten no answer. No one returns calls when they say they are going to. Some of the office employees have an attitude when they are called and that’s if they answer the phone at all. Notices are barely sent out about anything. I didn’t even know that the complex name had changed to Veridian Castleton nor the phone number. At one time I told people that these were great apartments and I have had several of my friends move in, but now I tell dont move here. It’s both sad and disappointing.

The new management is making a difference. I love it here. The location is off the beaten path and it is convenient to a lot of things. I like the new people in the office. I'm glad that Erika is still around because she has been a blessing through the transition. My lease will be up in a few months and I will be renewing for another year.
I’ve never had so many problems with any apartment like I’ve had with this place. They raised our prices up quite a bit. I regret resigning and should have moved out like most of the people here. I currently still live and right now I have water in my air vents. This is the second time in 2 weeks that this has happened. I can’t turn on my air conditioning. The last time this happened it lasted for several days. I go to the office several times and get the run around. Several times in the winter we have gone days without heat. They did “renovations”. All they did was do some painting which was horrible. They replaced the faucet and showers and some light fixtures. Then put granite countertops in the kitchen with new appliances. Maintenance is horrible and they keep getting new people because their own people keep quiting. I feel like I’m in the office at least every other week for an issue with this place. I’m not even that type of person. I do not advise to move here. I wish I could move out. I’m stuck here. When my lease is up. I’m gone. You have been warned!!

I have met with our maintenance team and understand the water in the vents was due to a leak in the plumbing underneath the building. Unfortunately, there is very little we can do to prevent these kinds of plumbing issues, however I apologize for the delay in service you experienced. I see that the current leak was repaired on Tuesday and the water was pulled from the vents on Wednesday. I have lived here for quite a long time for a renter, but a new company recently purchased the property and it has become a nightmare! It was welcoming to come in to the office,now it is prettier but sterile. We were told that the rent was going to go up by over $300 due to renovations but so many people turned in their notices to move out that a few months later they now say it is going up $140. The renovations are needed as things are dated but that is a HUGE jump to raise it all at once. The maintenance also used to be decent, but now stinks. I had to call several times when my drain was clogged and then got told to BUY a hair catcher because I would start getting charged if they had to come out again. I have been without hot water 3 times in less than a month for over 24 hours, and although they say they will keep us posted on the status no one gets updates unless someone calls. The best thing about this place is the location, but in my opinion, that one big pro no longer out ways all of the cons.
This property changed ownership in the summer of 2017, and everything has gone downhill. The rent is way higher, just for some cosmetic changes, but now service is a joke, and the corporate people act like your bothering them when you bring it up, and give you lip see service about how things will improve. If you sign a lease here, you'll regret it.
The place used to be a wonderful complex. The complex was sold to an outfit out of Ohio. The rents were raised by 200-300 per month with no notice. The maintenance staff after 15 years all quiet at one time. The current office staff has turned over every month for the past 3 months. The break ins are on the rise and tenants are waiting for repairs for 3 months or more. Corporate staff have been here a number of times and nothing has changed. The office manager by the name of Tenille can never be reached! If you have a problem you must address it by email and they take their grand sweet time to respond! I have sent several! Find another place, don't come to this Nightmare!
