You'll never get a work order done in a timely manner if you move here. This is just awful! It's been 7 weeks and I still haven't been able to get my washer and dryer door fixed or my front door. Is this an emergency? No, but should it take this long? I've called the office at least 30 times! The manager is NEVER available and the front desk associates have the worst memory imaginable. They never relay messages to the manager and always forget why you called or what the work order is about. This is not difficult. Just write it down! Geezus! One day the maintenance men came to fix a few work orders. Then he started to leave. I said, "Sir what about these other two problems that need to be fixed. He said, "It wasn't on the work order." I replied, "yes it was." Then he told me I have to talk to the office. I did right afterward and the associate in the office confirmed it was written down on the work order and she didn't know why he didn't finish. That was in the beginning and they never came back to fix it. I finally talked to the manager about this over a week ago. She apologized, said they would do better and work on communication, but the work order still isn't done. I even told her I wanted to wait before I wrote a bad review on the property. She thanked me for talking to her first. Then here we are almost two weeks later and my work orders are not complete. This is ridiculous and they should be embarrassed!!! This isn't the worst customer service I've ever received but it sure it close. What makes matters worse is they try to make your rent bill more confusing each month and the price just magically raises with hidden utility fees. Do not move here unless you want to wait an eternity to get the work order done. This is an AWFUL experience that you should avoid!

Eric helped us find a great 2 bedroom apartment that was right in our budget. We're on the first floor, and so far, only a few issues right off the bat that needed maintenance. This is our first week there and as of right now, things were clean and comfortable. No issues with bugs as mentioned in previous comments. I like the area and I love the places around it! Parking seems to be relatively okay, I'm actually really happy that they don't tow every night like some places do. Eric was always friendly and great to talk to in person. We moved in right after Winter Storm Uri, and I'm really grateful that we were able to come to an apartment with no leaks or damage from pipes bursting, no issues with our electricity. They keep us up to date on any situations that call for the water being turned off. We had a maintenance issue the first few days we were in because our upstairs neighbor flooded their bathroom and the leak came into the master bathroom, but the maintenance came quickly and fixed the issue within the hour -- highly impressive. :) I'm thoroughly excited to live so close to where I work in a place that seems to be pretty great!

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! This place is poorly managed and staff is rude and dismissive. Unsafe and dirty living conditions. Repairs never get filled. Moved in and problems started occurring within the same week. Disappointing.

Air conditioning breaks often. Electricity goes out often. Maintenance slams things around, yells at you, and makes you feel uncomfortable, not safe. Gate is always broken so parking is not protected. The model they show you is not even close to what you get. The apartment and carpets were filthy, but we were charged an extra cleaning deposit. Noisy in parking lot late. We have never been able to use the dish washer that we repeatedly asked to be fixed since move in. We were never told that we would share a balcony with neighbors. Also, glass door was installed in such a way that you cannot secure with a security bar. It just has a little pin. They do not give you warnings when enter your apartment to spray. So, you cannot protect your pets from the toxins. We put in a maintenance request yesterday for our air and came in from work with nothing fixed. So, make a good decision, stay away from here.

Renaissance Parc is so good, great apartment rooms, newly renovated rooms, clean and spacious bathrooms and rooms~ the ladies are so approachable Andria who is really there to help us in any of our concerns she's there. So amazing!
Overall, the apartment was fine when I lived on the first floor. It's kind of on the expensive side, but you're okay to walk through the fence to restaurants nearby. The only thing that stinks is the parking situation. The guests parking spots along the fence towards AMC and my apartment was on the other side of the community so my friends and family had to park quite a ways away and walk to my place. A lot of times, there wouldn't be any good close parking to my apartment either so I had to carry a lot of groceries and bags to and from. It was pretty inconvenient. Also, when I lived here, the tow trucks did not tow non-residents out and I had sent up plenty of complaints about it for about 4-6 months. They EVENTUALLY started towing more often, but it was really annoying for parking early on. This is just something to keep in mind if you're willing to trade walkability to the nearby restaurants, but parking is a potential annoyance.
The lady workers are the absolute worst. They are rude when you ask a question or for maintenance and they are vey condescending. When I asked about my package the lady worker said “I can’t just make it come out of thin air” and didn’t even try to help me, when the tracking number clearly stated that the package was received by front office worker. This place is awful because of their management team, would not recommend to anyone at all! Run away!

Call the 24 hour courtesy line. It says it is for noise complaints. They call you back at 1an to tell you they can't handle noise complaints. The cops roll by and ignore the people blasting music right outside your bedroom. It is 1am. You're screwed. Don't rent here.

I only gave them one star because I couldn’t give them 0. Issues started when we lived here on our move in day. As we were trying to move in they had someone in our apartment attempting to clean the filthy carpet for what we were told was the 3rd time they were cleaning it. Our carpets were wet trying to move stuff in and it had an odd odor. After being there a couples days my toddler at the time would run around barefoot and I noticed his feet were black on the bottom just from walking around the house. I asked them to replace the carpet and it was a huge ordeal. I had to threaten legal action and send a certified letter in compliance with Texas property code through my attourney stating that by law they are required to replace our carpet for health concerns. They FINALLY replaced it but we had to move all our stuff into the kitchen and they gave these random carpet installers a key to my house and when I got home from taking my son to school all his belongings were thrown outside In the dirt and it was raining. Management never cared, even when our apartment and child’s room stunk terribly of weed because the vents were shared with the neighbors. We had to clean the apartment upon move in and it was filthy. And they took my whole deposit even though I have never once not gotten my deposit back and that apartment was So clean when we left, way cleaner then when we moved in and they charged us for repainting even though it wasn’t nessesarry and was not in the lease addendum. Scammers.No parking ever. And constant partying and loud neighbors. These should be torn down. Stay away.
We lived at this complex 4 years ago, so maybe things have changed, but we still laugh about how god awful it was when we lived there. The parking was bad, the neighbors were extremely loud, drinking beer and partying on a weekly basis. The complex was basically falling apart on the outside - the complex that used to be next door was actually demolished for the new beautiful luxury apartments that are standing there. The parking lot looks like its crumbling, the building foundations are cracked, the pool that is not near the office was always filthy and full of partiers, and I'm in my twenties, so I am pretty laid back when it comes to noise. Our patio was constantly flooded. The apartment itself was in okay condition, just extremely outdated, again this was in 2012, so it could have done a complete 180, but I sincerely doubt it based on the pictures. I'm shocked they haven't knocked down renaissance parc. (Parc with a 'c' I mean...really?) My favorite memory was walking back from the Flying Saucer which was in the parking lot adjacent to the complex (right before all the nice shops went in), and there was a man walking around in the dark with some type of assault rifle. I was never so happy to leave a complex.
Filthy, sloping foundation, trip hazards, try and charge you for stuff you do not owe when you move out, I lived there for two years and had nothing but issues with management and other tenants there as well as with VVM across they way regarding parking. Ventilation and isulation is horrible as I had to have plastic and isulation on my Windows the entire time I lived there to keep my electric costs down. Called cops all the time on noisy neighbors as and courtesy officer never did nothing. Currently about to get into a legal battle over a little over $100 because the refuse to work with me about what I admit I owe which is $220.79 minus my deposit $100 for a total of $120.79 and they want to charge me like 320 and change after my deposit. Total ripoff "PLEASE DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!!
The day we moved it’s dead roaches all over the kitchen floor and counters. And even though we are moving in,our old apartment we have another month and a half for move out. So we waited a month before moving our stuff in. We would go by maybe every 2 or 3 days to see if there were more roaches. I could tell a few more were popping up dead and so on. The roach problem only seemed to be in the kitchen so we thought. The day we moved in we cleaned the kitchen which was filthy. There is no way this kitchen was cleaned even prior to giving us the keys. . There were roach eggs all over the counters and in the cabinets. The fridge looked clean but with a white cloth it was disgusting. We still waited a few more days before we put anything in the kitchen. And yes during this time we notified the front desk of the roach problem. After living there a month or so we would see a roach here or there and we started using our own baits and sprays hoping the problem was not getting worse. After awhile they were popping up everywhere maybe 1 or 2 every other day. I noticed that when we would run the kitchen sink we could hear what would sound like water in the walls or thin pipes. I did not cook in that apartment only did take out because I felt so gross. We were stuck because we could not break yet another lease and just had a baby so funds were tight. We sprayed, baited, closed off openings, told maintenance….. the whole nine but nothing worked. So we think the roaches are infested in the wall and or other apartments in the building have them and they just go back and forth. We were seeing 2 or 3 different types of roaches. When we moved out we saw no roaches when we cleaned the floors and so on. These things are hiding and only come out when the know food or water will be available. So it made us look crazy on our walk through when they did not see any. Those things are in the walls hanging out or go from apartment to apartment. I refuse to believe that it’s just our old one. And I HAVE NEVER HAD ROACHES BEFORE MOVING there. We had to wash all of our clothes, towels, sheets, etc. and double bag them before moving so we don’t transport them things with us. We had to shake and bag almost our whole apartment and leave stuff outside depending on what it was to make sure we did NOT bring those things to our new home.

The ladies in the office are very courteous, compassionate and friendly. They are always accommodating when you have a work order to submit or to see if you have a package that was left with them at the office. The maintenance staff are really knowledgeable and are willing to explain anything you might have a question about. I would recommend Renaissance to anyone who ask me. The location works out so well for us & is so convenient. We love it here & most of our neighbors are the best. We look out for each other, not because of being afraid of theft or anything like that, just the little things we can do for one another. We would stay here forever, but may not be able to bear the expense if our rent is increased next time we are scheduled to renew. That is the only downside I can think of. Come & take a look at these beautiful apartments, I am so glad we did.
The walk score is exceptional. Close to theaters, restaurants, and shopping. Allof our maintenance needs have been met, and the office personnel strive to be courteous and helpful.
