Property Ratings at VERT at Six Forks
I have been residing at The Vert at Six Forks for the past several months, and my experience has been nothing short of outstanding. From the moment I first stepped into this community, I knew I had found a special place to call home. The amenities provided are great, ensuring a lifestyle of comfort and convenience. The fitness center, although undergoing renovations, is well-equipped, making it easy to maintain an active and healthy lifestyle. The pool area is not only a refreshing escape during the warmer months but also beautifully designed, creating a serene atmosphere for relaxation. The apartments themselves are a testament to modern living. Spacious layouts, contemporary finishes, and attention to detail create an inviting and stylish living space. The well-designed kitchens and bathrooms add a touch of modesty to everyday life. The in-unit amenities, including a washer and dryer, appliances, and decent storage space, contribute to the overall convenience and comfort of living here. One of the standout features of The Vert at Six Forks is the dedicated manager, Alex! She is responsive, attentive, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure resident satisfaction. Maintenance requests are handled promptly. I've had two maintenance issues, and they were addressed within 24-48 hours. The location is another aspect that adds to the appeal of this community. Conveniently situated with easy access to shopping, dining, and entertainment options right off of Six Forks Road. The Vert at Six Forks strikes the perfect balance between a tranquil residential setting and proximity to urban conveniences. In summary, my time at The Vert at Six Forks has been exceptional. The combination of amenities, well-maintained living spaces, and a welcoming community atmosphere make it a five-star residence. I highly recommend The Vert at Six Forks to anyone seeking a comfortable and affordable living experience in the Raleigh area.

Do not move here y'all. There was an enormous wasp infestation in the apartments when I moved in. I personally killed 27 wasps INSIDE my 1 bedroom apartment. More than that though, no one is ever available in the office once you move-in, maintenance never shows up, etc. It was infuriating trying to move-out. No one would reply to my calls or emails. Took them over 3 weeks to respond to my termination of lease. And nearly 3 months after moving out, they sent me a bill for new carpeting. 0/5 stars would not recommend
Do not move here unless you want to spend an astronomical amount of money on heating and cooling each month. I am talking about 200.00 electric bills and still have 2 very different climates upstairs and downstairs. Upstairs remains hot, and downstairs remains chilly. I lived alone and kept the heat and AC on conservative levels (heat 65, AC 78!) still ended up with big bills because there are a LOT of drafty windows and doors. Many nights I had the heat on 60...no difference. Heating unit often blew cold air, nothing was done. I mentioned severe drafts, nothing was done. the upstairs has 2 *tiny* floor vents, that's it! and one vent is COVERED BY THE BATHROOM DOOR! The door sits on top of the vent when open! Maintenance also left a bent screen door that was not the right size. A huge gap (1+) inch was left along the top, and it didnt close properly because the frame was bent. they installed 1 tiny magnet set towards the top to close the gap, but it never worked. They are too cheap to install a properly fitted door. Valet trash charge now, so you have to keep disgusting garbage inside, they dont want the pails left out. The place looks decent from the outside but inside is utterly terrible. Choose anywhere else. Pros? Place was quiet with maintained grounds...except the dog park. It is nasty and full of spiky seeds that stick in dog's feet...they never cleared the ground. We had to constantly complain to get them to fill the poop bag stations even though they collect pet rent. The bathroom is so tiny if you're on the toilet and try to close the door, you have to move your legs out of the way! It is laughable they charge so much for rent for such a poor design with drafts everywhere. This isn't everything, I've held back In comparison where I've moved now has zero drafts and day 2 maintenance added extra weather stripping to my front door when I mentioned I could feel some cold air. Day 2!

Thank you for voicing your concerns. I am sorry you had that experience. If you would like, you can give us a call and we would be happy to discuss your concerns.
I've had an okay-ish time while living here for almost a year. The first part of living here was good because of the constant communication from the office management and everything they had to offer. But this year has gone down hill ever since the new management took over... I don't have any communication with the office anymore - they must've taken my email off the list because I don't hear from them anymore. About a few weeks ago they were fixing the middle of the complex, the roads were blocked off, I didn't receive a single email telling me of this. Nor were there roads signs or warnings or anything. I was very disappointed by the lack of communication about this. (However, my husband received an email about this a WEEK after they started.) Another recent issue, I had 2 leaks in the matter of 4 days. Yes, I had a dehumidifier given to me, yes they stopped the leak - but it was too late. I could splash a puddle in my carpet, so who knows how long the leak was going on for. I've had to throw away a few of my items including a MOLDY wicker basket. I am currently pregnant, and living in this environment isn't good for me and my health. I contacted management and they basically said "It happens. There's nothing we can do." I honestly would NOT suggest living here - if you do, you'll regret it. You'll have to deal with loud cars, barking dogs, no communication with the office staff, no respect, etc.
I would the maintenance man was very nice hardworking too he?s always on the job and get things done in a timely matter
yes
Comfortable place to live with wonderful personnel but overpriced for the value. We pay a lot for the fact that the apartment is renovated but paint is chipping off walls, it?s poorly insulated which results in high electric bills and we have a lot of bugs even though we keep the apartment very clean. The pool is dirty even though it just opened and we are regularily woken up at night because of neighbors? car alarms.
While I love the area and its proximity to downtown, I feel due to the age of the units, the electricity bill in the winter is astronomical. It is hard to get the apartment warm in the winter and cool in the summer.
Base on the quietness, the convenience and the layout I would recommend it. The staff is great, too.
Because the office personal were all very friendly and helpful especially Jamie, If I had not purchased a home I would still be there
I’ve been here for 5 months or so, and I can say that choosing this complex was the best decision I made. Staff and maintenance are friendly, polite, and helpful. It’s safe and quiet. One of my favorite things here is the greenery. I am surrounded by trees. I haven’t had any major issues since I’ve moved here, and what little issues I have had, maintenance has always responded quickly. Happy to call this place my home!
I used to live here when it was riverwooda. I was very satisfied with living here and am looking into it again.
It is a nice community however the rent prices are getting out of hand. It's nice they are renovating the interiors but the materials used are not high quality. What really needs to be done is install new windows.
For all of the above and more; I like the way I am made to feel as though my needs are important and problems are taken care of quickly and exactly as should be and the people are all kind.
I would recommend because I love the layout of the apartment, great location, and the staff are very helpful. I feel confident if a problem should arise the staff will be there to assist me.
Not worth the new cost. Remodeling some cabinets doesn't mean you can charge 200 more a month, especially when my apartment wasn't remodeled yet.
It is an older community but safe and in a good location.
Although in a great spot, my apartment was a bit small for me and I didn't feel as comfortable with others in the neighborhood
Great location and amenities. Quiet and friendly community.
The community feels more like a home than an apartment.
I would recommend (and have) this community based on location, personnel staff and proximity to shopping; I would not based on the monthly rents comparative to the age of the apartments.
Staff and maintenance are always very helpful and friendly. The community is very quite and peaceful. As long as they can keep my rent low enough for me to stay here I will not be moving anywhere else.
The new management team with Alden as manager has been the best here so far and I've lived here for 7 years and been through 4 different mangers thus far.
I have been a resident for the last 9 months and have to say that I have seen tremendous improvements. Both within the office and throughout the property. The property manager arrived in January and things seem to be in order now. The property has a new maintenance supervisor and you see him always running around working and helping folks. I am very happy to live here and would recommend my community to anyone. Thanks to the office for making me finally feel at home.
