Property Ratings at Victoria Apartments
Honestly, I loved it. It was small, of course, at ~400 square feet but the owner was very kind and any issues with maintenance were usually resolved the same day. There was also a lot of community interaction that was nice. Also the location was great for biking since it's situated right on a bike lane that runs all the way downtown and is within biking distance of the university. The building is old, so there aren't screens on the windows so bugs can get in. I have two cats that massacred any that did so I never saw them, but without them it might be a concern. Only big complaint with the place was the heater could get so hot that I left the windows open in winter.
My son lived here for almost 2 years. It is an old building (1919) but it has some great history and charm! Kitchen was clean and had plenty of space. Living area can be configured into any number of room arrangements. Plenty of heat in the winter and with a small a/c in the window stays cool in the summer. Secure parking, laundry room in building, storage locker, quiet neighbors. Great views into ivy-covered courtyard. The owner Doug is a wonderful person and always helpful. Highly recommend!
Recently moved in to find heating is limited and there are many bugs. Stay far away from this place. I guess it used to be good but the quality has gone down.
It's a Studio. You get everything you get from a studio - small space, connect kitchen, etc. But the service is top class. The owner Doug is perhaps the nicest guy I know and he will do anything to make tenants happy.
