Property Ratings at View Albuquerque
Hot tub has been broken for almost a year. Management is unprofessional and rude. Office loses packages, got one 3 months after it was delivered. management sends emails not to let dogs on property without a leash, to park in one space, and not to smoke in common areas, however management does these things all the time.
My husband and I moved to Diamond Elite Luxury homes while our home is being built. We love that it’s a gated community with security present to keep us safe and secure. The staff are friendly and always willing to help. They that manages all of our mail and packages. We enjoy and take advantage of the free amenities on-site which include a well equipped gym, sauna, pool and jacuzzi. We recommend these homes to friends and family.
This is absolute worst place to live there is roaches all over the place the management is poor they will do anything to get extra money out of you. They do roommate matching but it is pointless because you get people who are total opposites and make the living horrible. The water is cold and when you call they do nothing. this is the most unsafe place to live there is shootings and stabbings there is also bad parties with fights. They also have people living there that have house with extra people. There are some houses with pets that are not allowed like rats, snakes, guinea pigs. THIS PLACE IS THE ABSOLUTE WORST AND UNSAFE DO NOT LIVE HERE.

I have been at The View for about two years now so I feel that I can leave a very honest review. Although maintenance and student staff (NOT management) are very nice and professional, there are many things to look out for before you sign a lease. Over the years that I have been here, my rent has gone up by $100-120, they started charging for utilities on top of the rent increase, and there have been many poor management changes. They will try to squeeze any last penny out of you, and I realize that many apartment complexes run in a similar way but it seems ludicrous when they ask you to do things like share 1 tiny fridge for 5 people. Towards the end of last year and this year, there have been HUGE security and safety issues. Residents and visitors have been shot, stabbed, and even murdered. The front gate is always broken and although there is some effort to have security at the front of the property at times, after a while it seems like they just give up and the problems start happening again. Someone was killed just three houses down from me, my valuables and friends' valuables have been taken, and our apartment has been broken into multiple times. Any attempt to get help and answers regarding these issues are disregarded. The huge security issues, fees, and lack of professionalism make this a difficult place to live. If management were more responsive and helpful, security precautions were taken more seriously, and rent/ fees didn't unexpectedly increase, I would've loved living here and never wanted leave.

I stayed in the 5 Bedroom town home for a year. I requested an upstairs room but got assigned a downstairs room instead. Everything seemed fine at first but after a while my room mates would come back at 2 in the morning with non resident friends drunk screaming and having the tv volume maxed out late at night while i tried to sleep for work. Everyone drives around like its a road course. security lets everyone in no matter if they are a resident or not. parking lots get full due o non residents. This Property is a hit or miss.
Absolute worst place I’ve ever lived. Management tells you to email Jovi with any problems and she can never get hack to your emails. Very unprofessional. Also security has a false sense of what security actually does. They go partying in houses that they choose at night and fine the ones that don’t let them in. My neighbors car got broken into probably because security was too busy parting with their friends. They say it’s a gated community yet the gate never works, is always broken, and security lets anyone through the gates. I’ve had people use my house number to get in to come visit and security will tell them there are too many people at my house when there is no one here. They are the worst.
I love living here at The View! I have my own room, bathroom WITH A TUB, and a WALK IN CLOSET! I don't have to worry about my roommates they are all GREAT! We each have individual leases,so I pay for just my room and they pay for theirs. We just share the common spaces like the kitchen and living room which is no problem at all! We love living together.
The cottages are a great alternative to dorm living. I have my own private room and bathroom. The kitchen is spacious and modern. This was the perfect college experience for me.
I have been living at the Cottages since their opening in 2014, and although the first few weeks were admittedly a little rocky, the property has proven to be well worth the cost. The property is well-maintained, with grassy areas and well groomed plants and trees throughout. The amenities are really amazing, with a pool, hot tub, steam room, tanning beds, gym, gameroom, study rooms, and computers/printers just steps away. Parking is included and there are plenty of spaces even on busy nights. Shuttle service to campus is a huge bonus, allowing students to get to class without having to drive or buy an expensive parking pass. The houses themselves are spacious and of good quality, not excellent but much better than a run down dorm or apartment. The security is friendly and efficient, and the environment is that of a college student's heaven: with the option to go out and party or stay home and sleep. The Cottages also provides many activities and options to meet neighbors, eat free food, and participate in community activities. All in all, it's a great place for a college student to live.
