In the shadow of Mount Rainier and bordering Puget Sound, Federal Way's ruggedly beautiful landscape provides endless outdoor adventures, from hiking and camping to fishing and boating. But this fantastic location has even more benefits -- Federal Way is on the northeast side of Tacoma, less than 10 miles from downtown. Seattle is just 22 miles north, and the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport is only 12 miles north.
Federal Way provides great shopping, plenty of restaurants, and amazing parks. Dash Point State Park, home to the popular Dash Point Beach, covers 398 acres along Puget Sound. It has over 3,300 feet of shoreline along with 11 miles of hiking trails, eight miles of biking trails, picnic areas, an amphitheater, and a campground. Visitors enjoy activities like swimming, fishing, beachcombing, kayaking, skim boarding, and windsurfing.
Wild Waves Theme Park provides a different type of fun.

Property Ratings at View at the Lake I
I have lived here for 7 yrs and non off these exist Fitness & Recreation Fitness Center Sauna Clubhouse High Speed Internet Access
so not only did they take my deposit and rent but also charged me a holding fee for an apartment that on the 7th of the next month was still not available forcing me to rent two apartments at the same time they wanted to show me another apartment that wasnt ready after i drove all the way there when i said it did not make sense to look at another apartment that was not ready the girl literally yelled at me!! then when i try to get my money back they dont return my calls i have never seen a more unprofessional management team!! And someone should tell them when they get a bad review that is their CUSTOMERS being unsatisfied and most proffesionals would use that as a benchmark to judge their performance on and improve not this place if you decide to move here good lucn
One apartment building has a view of the lake, the rest deal with the lack of parking, break in's, keyed cars and no repair man for days. They try to fix stuff, but they don't know what they're doing. Truth is they spend most of the time cleaning up overflowing garbage bins which litter the property, and obviously there are plenty of multi-family apartments, which is why the parking sucks! Don't live here, it's right on pacific highway so vagrants, and it's across the street from Federal Way HS so of course plenty of HS Kids hanging out and smoking refer in the stairways. Save the money and time, and the damage to your car! Oh and the cockroaches appear once in a while, just to make you frantically clean and spray every inch. Bug man comes back over and over but no luck,,, yuck!~
I had lived here for 2 years and i love it a lot. When I have a problem that needs to be fix the maintenance guys goes and fix it the same day and you don't have to wait days so it could be fix.I like the way they made me feel at home. The grounds are kept clean for the most part, occasional trash will be on the ground but the maintenance workers on site are always walking around keeping it nice. The common mall is close to the apartments , you will find with in walking distance shopping stores, restaurants and banks.
I been living here for 2 years and I really love it a lot. What ever you need help with the staff will help you. They are very nice and big from inside and everyone here re very nice to each other.
I recommendation you to move here i love it a lot and the people i had recommend it and they move to the apartments. i Have heard a lot people how they talk that they really love it here like i do. The maintenance guys always fix my problem fast i don't have to wait days they do it on the some day.
i really enjoy loving here my kids bus stop it just in front of the apartment. They have a pool that its open every summer, theirs a lot of store around the apartment and also banks. The mall that its called the common mall. In the back it has a view of the steel Lake for those who like the view of a lake it is very nice you will love it to. The staff are very hopeful and the maintenance guys every thing it need to be fix fast you don't have to wait for day to be done. I know you all will love this apartment like i do.
I enjoy living at View at the Lake. My son goes to school at Federal Way high school, and it is right across the street. Beautiful park like setting. The management is wonderful, and maintenance fixes issues promptly. I have one car, and I am assigned parking space, close to my apt. The apartments are hugenjoying and spacious. I have lived in apts all my life, and these are the first ones built to minimize sound transfer. I do not hear my upstairs neighbor. Very nice.
I have lived here for 8 months now and this has been a wonderful place to live. Other reviews say that parking is bad, well they do assign you a parking spot for free, that's better than my last place. The staff is friendly and always willing to help. Things get done very quickly. My unit is renovated and amazing. I've had a few of my family members move in based on my recommendation.
Worst complex I have ever, I repeat, EVER lived in. Parking-if you own two vehicles forget it. You get one assigned space and there is no visitor parking since it is all taken up by other tenants. If you do parking in a wrong spot you will be towed. Amenities-what amenities?? The pictures show a pool. Yah it's there. Not being used. They told us when we moved in it would be $65 for a pool key. No thanks. There is no sauna or exercise room. You get a space and one laundry room per building. There is also nowhere for the kids to play so they are all over the parking lot. Neighborhood-definitely not quite and pretty noisy on the weekends. Managment-they are not too bad. Easy to talk to easy to get work orders through. When I fist moved in I thought office hours were Mon-fri 9-6pm and Saturday 9-4pm but they just seem to be open 9-4 Mon-fri. Hope this helps!!
if you wana rent here make sure you ask management tons of questions cause things dont look same what they say . Pool dont work but its there .Parking is crazy but you have your own parking spot. You have to take day off if you need any kind of work need to be done by management in your unit.rent is good but not cheap what you going to live in.yes you will get approved with deposit .AGAIN ASK ASK ASK and THINK before RRRRRRRREEEEEEENNNNNNTTTTTTT.
