Admittedly, the apartments and amenities (when open) are nice. However, it is the conduct of some residents and unauthorized people on the property that cause much concern. Cigarettes are smoked, not only in units, but in the main hallways and left all over the property and even inside common areas of the apartment buildings. Dogs are allowed to roam freely without a leash also all over the property and inside common areas of the apartment buildings. Exterior doors are nearly CONSTANTLY propped open for all sorts of people to enter and roam the halls as they please. This invites litter, unauthorized people, and unsafe conditions into the apartment building. Additionally, there has been documented evidence of hard drug usage. Law enforcement has been called numerous times. The military police have even been deployed to deal with these out of control issues. I have personally emailed property management on several occasions over the past month and have NEVER received a reply. It seems as though management does not care for the safety or sanitation of their units. I have no clue who I will come across on a daily basis and what kind of mental state they might be in. I have personally witnessed aggressive behavior and drug usage from people who prop open the doors and enter without a key fob. Outlook West Mesa appears to be a safe space for potentially violent drug users. Management has offered zero assurances. They have explained that their attorneys are involved. They said they are taking "necessary steps" to remediate the issues. Two weeks ago, Alicia in the office even said that "it will not be an issue moving forward", only for the situation to get progressively worse every day. I do NOT feel safe in my apartment. My dog also has to come into contact with the trash left behind and the unchecked dogs that roam. I have to constantly worry about my dog getting caught in the cross-fire of these unacceptable conditions. I could not even imagine having a child in this situation. I pay far too much to feel abandoned by my property management. If you wish to live in a place with secure facilities, sanitary conditions, the absence of Schedule 1 drugs, and a management team that advocates for its residents that actually adhere to their lease agreements, I would highly recommend to look elsewhere. Outlook West Mesa will be a nightmare for you as a tenant. I regret that I did not see these abundant red flags before moving in.

awesome (above awesome) office staff including maintenance and still a nice place to live. great location .I do not like all the fees added after your told an 'X' amount for rent and to pay for parking when someone comes to visit.

I absolutely love my new apartment and the community. It is growing but it feels very comfortable and safe. The amenities are wonderful and so is the staff here. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience and I feel like I’m in the apartment of my dreams.

Seemed nice at first, but this has been one of the worst places we have ever rented. The amenities - mainly the pool and the dog park - have not been opened in the 7 months we have lived here. They charge you for heating the pool throughout the winter even though it is not open to residents. Lots of smoking on property, including illegal substances. There is almost no parking available after 5pm, which is absurd considering they make you pay an additional $20/month for parking. There are no gates, no security cameras, or security enforcers. Almost every night, homeless people sleep behind the dumpsters and people come rummaging through the dumpsters in the middle of the night. You will be listening to traffic and barking dogs all. night. long. The people here do not have a concern for their neighbors, and the office fails to address any of these issues as well. You do not get what you pay for at Outlook West Mesa. I would expect a lot more from the property and from the staff for some of the most expensive apartments in Colorado Springs.

It is pleasant to live in a clean, quiet environment. The front desk and maintenance staff are amazing. I appreciate that everyone follows the rules and works together as a team to keep the place enjoyable. In addition, I like the convenience of the mailroom for packages and the gym. There is no need to worry about package thieves since it is safe and secure. There are a lot of dog waste stations and the area is very quiet and peaceful and the groundskeeping is nice and clean. Everyone picks up after their animals, which I think is great. Additionally, I appreciate the option of renting a garage space for protection against hail. There is a lot of space in the apartments, they are clean, and they are well constructed. It was also very convenient to have pre-installed internet, and I was very impressed by that as well. Since I am so impressed with Outlook West Mesa, I have already recommended it to people I know.

Outlook West Mesa is such a clean, nice and quiet place to live. This was my first apartment and probably my last (I’m planning to purchase a home) but definitely grateful to live here. All my family and friends who have visited me LOVE my place. It’s definitely luxurious and worth the price.

The location is great and easy to get to on the west side of town. Minutes from Manitou and Garden of the Gods, with all the necessities close by. We love that the complex is brand new. We were the first family to live in our unit and soon will get to enjoy a new pool and large dog park. The dog grooming bay by the office is so nice and spacious. We love taking our dog in there for a real dog bath! Staff has been very pleasant and helpful with any and all questions and needs, with quick response times. Mail and package room at secure and spacious and easily accessible. We moved with our two children and they love the apartment and the outdoor activities. WiFi was easy to set up and works amazing, we're able to stream movies from multiple devises at the same time, and online game. Great connection speeds. I do wish we had designated parking spots, especially as the other units fill up, parking has been as little bit of a challenge.
