Clifton Heights is a historic neighborhood about three miles east of Downtown Louisville. The neighborhood received its name because it is located on a ridge about 100 feet above the Ohio River and overlooks the adjacent community of Clifton. Today, Clifton Heights gives renters a variety of housing options to choose from including older shotgun houses and bungalows, luxury apartments, and charming condos. Since the Ohio River is nearby, you’ll find locals flocking to waterfront parks like Louisville Champions Park and Waterfront Botanical Gardens. Clifton Heights is also known for its thriving arts scene and is home to several art galleries, studios, and the Mellwood Art Center. Paired with a close-knit community and good schools, Clifton Heights is family-friendly, but it’s a great choice for any renter looking for a quiet locale that is still near downtown.

Property Ratings at Views at Crescent Hill
I enjoyed my stay here, I was just in town for a work project so my review is only based on my 6 months here, but everyone in the office was nice, when I had to call maintenance the one time, they were quick and polite, so overall it was a great experience. The location is really nice, with public transportation options, which was important to me.

We appreciate your positive feedback and are glad to hear that you had a good experience with us. Our team is committed to providing prompt and polite service. We are also pleased that our location and public transportation options were convenient for you. Thank you for choosing to stay with us during your work project!
Office lady's are rude and very nasty. Good luck getting anything fixed. You can hear everyone talking in the halls and next door as the walls are then. Floors are so bad I'm surprised no one has come though. Washer and dryer smells NOT PET friendly at all. No poo bags, and trash cans are always full and smell. Office will call you if your dogs bark. Save your money and headache.

We're sorry to hear about your experience. We strive to provide a comfortable and welcoming environment for all our residents. Your feedback regarding the office staff, maintenance, and pet facilities is valuable and will be taken into consideration as we work to improve. Thank you for bringing these issues to our attention.
While the apartment looks great from the outside, the issues you will have trying to get your maintnence orders completed for simple things like door hinges, leaks, washer issues, etc. makes it NOT WORTH IT. The management will continually give you the run around about getting things fixed and has even gone as far as to say that they don't, and have not had, maintnance staff available for the past 2 MONTHS. Rather than contract out the work, residents are expected to continue paying for amenities they cannot use. Take the time to look elsewhere if you are planning on moving -- it is worth the effort.
Do not move here if you enjoy sleeping and quiet. You can hear what anyone is doing at any time in any apartment. Your alarm is your neighbor blaring their ridiculous subwoofers or TV, or your NEXT DOOR neighbor on the other side being obnoxious in their bathroom. No one cares about other people’s space. I hope the next neighbors my downstairs neighbors have are awful just so they get a taste of their own medicine

Our residents and their satisfaction are our number one priority and we are truly sorry to hear you feel anything less than satisfied. We would like to connect with you personally regarding your expressed concerns and ask for you to give us a call when you have a moment. We look forward to hearing from you soon and hope you enjoy your day, thank you.
I hate writing negative reviews, HOWEVER, their parking system needs attention. I can’t imagine what parking is like at full capacity, when every apartment is occupied. ONE permit per apartment? What? If you work second shift or want to stay out late, good luck! You will have to probably park a block or three away because “guest” (quotations because it’s really a parking lot with an insufficient amount of spots for tenants who don’t have a coveted permit) parking is full by 8 p.m. now. Street parking is always backed up on Mt. Holly because there’s other buildings (not affiliated with The Views) who also use street parking. They have got to figure out who is living here without being on the lease and tow their car and kick them out; they need to determine who is storing extra vehicles and have them removed and stored elsewhere (I know theres people who have extra cars and take up spots). Slaving away every day to pay rent to these people only to come home to no parking is sad and insulting. I’m never living in Clifton again because parking always sucks and thank you, The Views, for helping me realize that.

Thank you for your feedback. We would be happy to address your concerns and fully explain our processes. We apologize for any miscommunication and are looking forward to clarifying things for you. Please reach out to us directly at your soonest convenience.
The manager at the complex speaks to everyone like they are ignorant children. The fees that they add on are rediculously high and when we asked, we were given no rational explination. They use a third party for provided utilities (specifically water) so they can charge you more than it would be in a full sized house for a 2 bedroom apartment with no washer or dryer. They are corporate monsters that practice no human decency. We moved out before our lease was up to get out of there as quickly as possible. We never missed a payment or even paid late, only on-time payments in full, and they still treated us like we were delinquents. The stress from living there and never knowing what our rent was gping to be the next month was worth moving into a place that costs nearly twice as much for us, thats how bad they are. Not to mention that the apartments are wolves in sheep's clothing. They look nice, but at a closer glance they are made of garbage. Handles falling off, untouched floor peeling up, and the walls that are paper thin. You will know all of the business of all of the surrounding apartments and even the ones that aren't directly next to yours. A horrible experience overall. All of my neighbors had the same or worse issues and would agree: DO NOT RENT FROM CRESCENT HILL UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. They deserve less than one star.
The heat only keeps the living room warm. You freeze in the Master bedroom and bathroom. Walls are paper thin. There is never a parking spot. Management acts snobbish all of the time. Should be washer and dryer hook up for the price you pay. Light fixture are way too low. Closet door doesn't stay on in the Master bedroom. Drain is always clogged or backed up in the tub so when you take a shower the fills up with water and they have the nerve to bill you for water, sewage and trash! Some sockets work and others don't. This apartment is just a mess. Area is nice though.......
Management here is awful. Property manager is never available. Says he owns this property and is rude and unprofessional.
Wayyy over priced for what you get. There is never any parking you'd be lucky if you get a spot in from of your home . Walls are paper thin you can hear almost everything. Bathroom are small you can't sit on the toilet and close the door. Limited space in the kitchen absolutely no counter space not nearly enough cabinet space . Not a place for families. Great area though . Nice appliances if that counts . Don't even think about getting cable !
Terrible just terrible. Horrible cracked up parking lot entrance messed up wheels on my brand new car, flooring and construction was so rushed that something is constantly breaking or falling apart. When concerns raised they are deflected by management. Price way over rated for quality. Will not be renewing here.
Found this place hoping that it was as good as it looked on line. Have found that the cable and phone wires in the apartment don't work after trying to have service installed. Was told by management that they do not guarantee these lines because the property is old and that I would have to pay someone on the side to install new wires in their apartment complex. New appliances do not work and are not being fixed in a timely mannor. Coming up on two weeks and no repairs to appliances. After several meetings with management it is apparent that they are only there to deflect issues and not address them. I do not feel I'm taken serious in any way. Avoid this place.
