Property Ratings at Villa Angelina
I was so excited to move here because the unit they showed me was so nice and seemed really good for the price. However, the day I was supposed to move in, I saw dead roaches all throughout the kitchen counters. We opened all the cabinets and found more dead cockroaches along with cockroach traps. The fridge had live cockroaches running around in it. There were dead and live roaches in every room, every closet, hiding in the carpet, running up the wall. There were even cockroaches and a cockroach trap in the storage outside of the unit. Apparently management has known about this cockroach problem for a while. They have been spraying units on all floors, but they did not disclose this issue before we signed the lease or before we moved in. The maintenance guys were super helpful and apologized because they didn’t know we were meant to be moving in that day. Thank god they didn’t, otherwise we might’ve noticed the cockroach issue too late and moved all our stuff in. Thankfully we were able to get out of our lease, as this unit was uninhabitable. However, I had to extend my current lease while finding a new apartment, which unnecessarily cost me a lot of money. I’m still waiting on the refund of all of the fees and deposit. They should really fix this cockroach issue before letting anyone else move in.
Villa Angelina is the best place I’ve ever lived at! This is my first apartment and everything is GREAT. The tour was great, I got to see a few different units which was awesome cause I got to pick! It’s clean, i feel safe, the people are amazing. The environment is just plain amazing. And don’t even get me started with maintenance! Marcus is great! He is friendly and will help you with any issue you have asap. You will NOT regret it!
Olga is so incredible! We had a few maintenance issues with our apartment and she came over and addressed ALL of them in about 15 minutes flat. She made sure we knew how to fix the problems we were having and how to prevent future ones from happening too! THANK YOU!!!!!!
I lived at Villa Angelina for over five years and overall had a positive experience. Their maintenance responses were quick, and their management was professional. My move out was smooth, and I got most of my deposit back. The only negative aspect of living at Villa Angelina was they raised my rent every year more than the inflation rate. However, they did negotiate with me when I pushed back on that. I wound up moving, in the end, to be closer to my family.
I love my apartment and the location. Only thing I wish was that the indoor improvements were upgraded (doors, cabinets, knobs, etc.). It's quiet, clean, and residents here are friendly. Management staff are also very friendly and are quick to assist, if needed. Overall, I am a happy resident! :)
It's a quiet neighborhood, there's a love for pets here (big dogs included) and you can tell by the smell of urine and feces some of the owners forget to pick up. Management and maintenance are on top of things if you need something fixed they're on it. Laundry and storage units have been recently updated, parking is very hard if you have more than one vehicle. If you have more than one car, you're going to have to park up by the field that belongs to the middle school up the hill. Going on my 3rd year living here and I haven't had any major problems (knock on wood). You can hear the Disneyland fireworks at 9:30 so don't be alarmed, and the train sound you will get used to, it's actually kind of soothing once you're settling into bed. I think the things they could improve on is the pool area and gym. The pool needs trash cans, cleaning after a hot weekend since the pool can get a little murky. The gym needs loose weights, a fly machine isn't enough if someone is trying to reach their goals if they can't afford a gym membership on top of rent. The lounge area looks really nice if you want to get some work done. Utilities and electric bills are reasonably priced. There is a AC unit in the living room, I suggest buying a stand alone AC unit for your bedrooms on hot nights. The stove in the kitchen looks newer, there are dishwashers, the only thing is nothing is gas powered, all electric, even the water heater. I think I covered everything. Overall it's a nice apartment to start off in.
Although every apartment complex has issue this particular one has a good rating with me. Everything works they have community socials and everyone is very nice. I recommend it
Villa Angelina has been my home for 3 years . The grounds are well taken Care of, the maintenance issues are fixed within a reasonable time . The front office manager Winnie is down to earth, welcoming and truly an asset to the property. Winnie and her team keeps this place safe, efficient and running smooth . Villa Angelina truly cares for its tenants which makes this place a home.
The apartments are a really good size for the area and price. The staff are very friendly and helpful, which is great. It's also an awesome place if one of your best friends are of the four legged variety, they even have free bags and plenty of disposal cans to make it easier for you to pick up after your pet. The gym isn't huge but has just enough equipment to get in some decent cardio. The downside is that the street parking is almost nonexistent and it's a battle over the few guest parking spaces if you dont want your guest to have to trek a mile to your home. Also, there is a pool but not having a jucuzzi is a bummer.
The location where I currently reside is a very tranquil and peaceful place to live. Apartments are also very spacious and maintenance is always on top of their game! I love Villa Angelina Apartments because the outdoors is always kept clean. Also the location is very convenient since we have stores and restaurants near by.
My husband and I have lived here for about 9 months and we are mostly very satisfied. We have a 1 bedroom currently and are moving into a two bedroom soon. The transition has been simple and easy. Any maintenance issues are resolved quickly, the landscaping and amenities are kept up very well. The staff is extremely friendly and there is no excessive noise. Only issues are limited parking and there is a pool, but no spa! Rent is also somewhat higher for the area, but overall a great place to call home.
