Property Ratings at Villa Del Lago Apartments
Maintenance issues never get resolved until you state you will contact corporate about the matter. Since being here I have dealt with issues with leaks from next door and upstairs neighbors that they were slow to fix, due to leaks that happen now I have a gnat infestation that I've been fighting to get rid of, having to endure the neighbors upstairs smoking "weed", and the scent coming through the vents that has my entire apartment smelling as if I am the one smoking and lets not forget the horrible parking and laundry room where half the washers don't work
Poor customer service over the phone, in person, rude greetings and endings
THIS IS A MUST READ!!!!!!!! MOVE IN AT YOUR OWN RISK ???? I use to love these apartments growing up... I lived over here with my cousin when I was 15 years old. V.D.L. was some of the best apartments in Shreveport Louisiana, but now it's just freaking terrible. Apartments have multiple problems that should've been fixed before people moved in, also everything is outdated and wasn't taken care of. It's just sad!! On top of that one of the property managers is just so rude & disrespectful, she thinks she's suppose to choose your apartment for you which is not true at all ( I NEVER HAD ANYONE TO FORCE ME TO GET AN APARTMENT I DIDN'T WANT UNTIL THEN, YOU'RE SUPPOSE TO CHOOSE FROM SELECT CHOICES ) . She knew I love these apartments and didn't wanna stay anywhere else at the moment & also knew my situation but still throw dirt/shade on me. She's very very very unprofessional, when she calls you she basically demands smh and she accuses people for things they didn't do. She listen to he say she say instead of getting proof... Basically she always pointing the finger at innocent people. On top of that she loves talking to people wrongfully in front of others trying to gain attention when really she's embarrassing herself & showing her true colors of hatred towards other people. Only if I could go back in time and something better before I got intertwined in this nightmare ???? WHAT HAPPENED TO VILLA DEL LAGO
If you're looking for a well maintenance, professional staff, clean property, with awesome views I seriously recommend this property. The office staff are always smiling.
I was looking for a one bedroom unit and was pleasantly shocked when I viewed this property. The management staff is always friendly and great you by first name. If you're looking for a quiet, peaceful property then this is it!!!!!!!!!
My experience with this apartment was wonderful. DaJuan answered all my questions patiently, the rest of the staff I met were friendly and very sociable. My decision to move in was on the appearance of the grounds and the breathtaking view of Cross Lake. My daughter came with me while I paid my deposit, and decided to move here , too!! Awesome neighbors..
I have been in Shreveport for 7 years Villa Del Lago is the third apartment I've lived in and it is the best maintenance is outstanding and office Personnel is very friendly and helpful I recommend Villa Del Lago very very much apartment upkeep is very amazing and they have very good security on camera surveillance
I have lived here now for 2 years ..The feeling that I get when I come home from my hectic job is amazing .I live right next to the water and its like I’m home away from home .Its quiet ,clean and majority of my neighbors been here for years .I really like it here
I’ve enjoyed being here for the past three years. The office staff is nice and very accommodating. However, there have been hiccups with the maintenance. It may take them a while to finish some of the simplest things. Still a good space for the price. Never had to make a noise complaint.
Villa Del Lago is good apartments. They stay up to par with the maintenance and everything. The rent is reasonable and affordable for me.
I thought the complex was very nice and the staff was very professional. I hope to be moving to this apartment complex in September and I'm really looking forward to living on the lake.
Management is very, very, very poor. Worst Maintenance crew I have ever seen. It has taken up to three months for a staff member to fix a ceiling leak. Besides the price I pay, by far the worst complex in this side of Louisiana.
I can honestly say that as far as room size these are good, but that's about it, I moved into three different apartments, after the first was broken into, the second had a horrible marijuana smell and the third had a roof leak that damaged my furniture and the companies response was oh well, we don't cover that. So the best thing a renter can do from this place is RUN.... The pools are always closed and filled with non-residents, washer dryer amenities are always broken and prices were rising on those. So please do your sanity a service and find other properties. Plus management is the WORST!!
