Property Ratings at Villa Del Sol Apartments
Parking is a joke. You only get one assigned spot, and a first come first serve. We wait for 4 hours for parking sometimes to not even get a spot. They recommend parking on the street which is a huge safety risk if you’re a young woman like I am. Patios are nice but the fence is in wood, so our dog dug a whole and ran out into the street. Be aware of that. Kids throw trash all over your porch and over your fence into your patio. Damages to the apartment upon moving in. Water and trash said to be included but it’s not. Roach infested before we even moved anything in. The biggest peeve is the parking though. Don’t move here if you have more than one car.
Terrible, terrible place to live. Me and wife lived there for a year. Security is a joke. It’s not a safe place. We had to move because we didn’t feel safe anymore. I have a dash cam on my car that is activate it with motion. One day during the night my dash cam was activated, the next morning I saw the video. 4 guys doing drugs on my car hood, making weird signs with their hands. They were aware of the dash cam because they were looking straight at it and making gang signs with their hands, directly at the dash cam of my car! That same day I went to the leasing office asking to at least changing car port, they told me that could only be approve by the manager Marlene and that she was on vacation and would be back the following Monday, in the meantime I AirDroped the video from the night before to an iPhone they had in the leasing office hoping once they saw it they realize it was a problem. Weeks went by and never heard back. Changing parking space? Not even close. When I did a follow up with the office they said they couldn’t do anything. Me and my family didn’t felt safe anymore living there so we gave our 30 day notice and soon we were out of there. I still have the video. Please, do you research. There are a lot of optioned out here in the same price range within the area that are 10 times better than that dumpster called Villas del Sol. Don’t waist your money and your time. Don’t put at risk your life or your family’s life.
To bad I can’t give it 0 stars or even negative If your thinking on leasing in villa del sol think no more walk away don’t even go in to check the apartments out because you will leave with bed bugs. Yes you heard me BED BUGS!!! Even rats we haven’t even lived here for 3 Months and we had a rat problem within the first month they are even on the walkways of the apartments outside dead on the traps maintenance gives you so we have that bed bug problem which I’m sure others have but won’t speak up because management is asking for half the price to pay to get rid of their problem how dumb is that. Read this review and don’t live here get out don’t lease here go somewhere else don’t get trapped in their lies. Bad management bad place. Run!!!

There is no parking for a 2nd car and absolutely no guest parking. The reason for a second star is purely because the office workers are very nice, hardworking and understanding of the situation. We live in a two bedroom, two bathroom unit that comes with one carport and have been here since December 2017. Every five days, my girlfriend or I have to sit outside the office for at least an hour before the office opens with a handful of other people hoping for the privilege of paying $2 per day for parking in, if any, unused spaces for a maximum of five days. Generally anywhere between zero and six people are able to receive parking per day. This cycle repeats every five days. Today, I was one of the many unfortunate ones as they had six open spots and I was eighth in the queue. My fault for arriving at 8:05am of course. Not receiving parking is a common occurrence. In the beginning they were very good about making sure, we as new tenants, could easily renew our passes as to not scare us off being that we, and I believe most tenants here, are month to month with our leases. I've seen people wait as early as 4am in the morning on weekends. They bring lawn-chairs, pillows and blankets, gloves, and thermoses filled with coffee. Some people take shifts, breaking the wait time up with their loved ones or roommates. The big concern though is that I don't see any real solution in the near future and would very much like to hear what they have in mind to remedy the problem besides apologizing profusely to all the negative reviews stating the same thing. Love how open the buildings are. Not so close together like your average apts. Everybody is sitting out on there porch instead of being inside on the internet, there actually out being activate neighbors talking to neighbors. Only problem is, is parking i hate the parking
