Gibson Springs is nestled into the Interstate 215 and 515 junction just west of the city center. This family-friendly suburb, while part of Henderson, is also part of the Las Vegas metro area. I enjoy living here. There is only a main issue: People not picking up after their dogs, so there is a lot of dog poop on the grounds & the dog park.

I have been here over 2 yrs now but I have some concerns, I live in an older model apartment and my son has been in this apt for over 6 yrs, and never had a screen door on the patio and they did install one after we request it , however it was not fitted properly and fell off after 1 time to open the window . I just feel that when we request something to be fixed the same problem happend again

My apartment was definitely not move in ready. It was vacant for sometime and I think it was forgotten about. When I moved in it appeared to be clean but on closer inspection the counters were not wiped down, handles to cabinets were filthy, unit was not freshly painted, holes in the wall, laminate floors were dirty with marks from prior furniture, water damage under the sinks with active water leaks that maintenance had to spend hours repairing, water damage on walls next to tub that maintenance did repair after I pointed it out and toilets were left dirty. When I pointed it out to the leasing personnel Eldridge he just apologized. I felt we should have been compensated some how. It was disappointing especially when it cost so much money to live in this community.

I love living at the Villa Serena apartment complex; it has everything I need at least in an apartment. The rent is cheap, has BBQ pits, swimming pool l, jacuzzi, gym, in unit laundry room, what else can you really ask for at the end of the day?

The office is very nice and has such a homey feeling. The staff is so welcoming and pleasant ! Eldrige was my leasing agent and he has helped me a lot with all questions that I had. I’ve been living at Villa Serena for almost ten years. This week, the key fob I was given (again, ten years ago) to get into the mailroom (a flimsy piece of plastic) broke off my keychain. I went to the office to get a replacement and was told that in order to get one they would add a $75 (!!!!) fee to my rent this month. I explained to the guy behind the desk that the flimsy piece of plastic had been on my keychain for most of a decade and was met with a shrug. This certainly makes me feel like a valued member of the community.

Quite community. Maintenance is quick and reliable. Office people could be a little more responsive but acceptable. Even though it doesn't have a gate I haven't had any issues with packages being missing

A lot of mail room mail boxes are broken. The outgoing had been broken a few times but fixed immediately. Package room door has been unlocked a few times. Believe there should be a set place for having dogs do their business. Believe the activities in the office are a great idea. Also thought the radio playing at the pool was great during summer hours. Need to fix car port lights as well as outside lights in between apt doors.

I love my apartment so far. I just moved in. I don't hear my neighbors even though they have dogs. I was worried it would be a problem but it's pretty quiet around here except for the street noise which is not too bad. The only thing I have to say is that the unit was not clean when I moved in and several things needed attention. They have been taken care of though. I love the modern look inside and the big rooms.

I've been here for a week. The neighbors are great. The complex is very well maintained. The groundskeeper does a very good job at keeping the complex clean. The dogs are always on a lease and the owners are mindful while out with their pups. I think its a fabulous idea to have parcel lockers for the residence. Overall, its great.

No hot water for 5 months, 25 year old AC units never cleaned
I've lived here for a year and a half. Moved in when Avenue 5 was managing the property and they were great. After priderock took over in may 2021, it seemed to go downhill. There have been 4 different property managers in 1 year. I had a gas leak in my apartment and the old manager did a poor job dealing with the problem, I ended up without hot water for 5 months. The irrigation system is broken, water piles up in places and leaks all over the parking lot daily (the community has to pay for that excess waste). One time, water was coming up from the flooring inside my apartment and damaged my electronics, i thought it was flood damage from rain so the insurance claim was denied. Some people have died here, i've seen the coroner. police are here more often than i would like. I have an upgraded unit and they did a great job with that, the countertops, cabinets, and appliances. But why would they renovate an apartment and leave the 25 year old AC unit inside? there was mold all over the coils, the air quality is not good. my suggestion is they hire an hvac company to professionally clean the AC unit and air ducts every few years. I am happy to be moving on and hope other people have better experiences.

21 years ago, I moved to Henderson when my company moved. Villa Serena became home to me and my three sons. I am back now and it is still a wonderful place. The staff, property and overall community is still awesome

Poor insulation. You can hear everything, everywhere. Our master bed and bathroom smelt of cigarettes the whole time; despite an HVAC workers claims of having cleaned it. Cabinet materials were extremely poor; only a coat of paint is used to hide the previous tenants wear and tear, but every time you reach for the cabinet door you get paint chips stuck under your nails for the effort. I could go on forever. We lived right next to the dumpster yet partially through our lease we were FORCED to pay a monthly $25 trash fee which we never, not once, used. The maintenance staff was otherwise amazing, the pool was very nice and the community gathering efforts were second to none.

I've been here for almost 3 years and I resign my contract every year because this place is great. There are tons of apartment complexes in this town but I have been more than satisfied since day one. From the front office staff to the maintenance staff they really understand the importance of communication. I've never felt like I'm just an apartment number. I've recommended this complex to many people over the years and will continue to do so.

Villa Serena provides a safe & secured environment for our community. The cleanliness is a plus as maintenance stay on top of their job! They also provide free activities for the community on property which is excellent & always pleasure to attend! This is a beautiful property that is well taken care of. I see maintenance driving through all day they will stop to pick up trash and check around the properties. It is quiet around the 600 building sometimes I forget other people live around us. I love raising my son here

BEWARE...Pit bull Haven
Lived here over 2 years. Supposed to be restricted breeds such as pit bulls, Rottweilers etc, but not enforced. Our neighbors pitbull, off leash, attacked and bit my wife. Nothing was done by management even though we filed a report with the City of Henderson. Court date is coming soon! The neighbor has multiple Pit bulls in their apartment. This only the tip of the iceberg. Most of the dogs in the complex are on the restrictive breed list, not to mention the huge crap piles all over the complex. Find another place if possible or learn to live with the dogs galore and a staff that does nothing to enforce policy...

Run!!!!
If you are a prospective sale then the management company will seem like the nicest most caring people. But after you sign...say bye bye. Maintenance fixes take....WEEKS. Also, they have no care or sympathy (the best word is probably appreciation) for those who us who live here. Be prepared to be spoken to condescendingly especially considering that a prospective renter will be given the moon , but if you are already here...you get none of the deals or kindness. Basically, they want you to pay them and thank them for taking your money!!! Run! Run! Run!
